Monday

Breakfast: muffins (thanks alicia), donuts, banana, and milk (everyone ate well.) Paige ate this too!

Lunch: periogies, grapes, cheese, and homeade ice cream (big hit) most got seconds (Tristan ate well but wasn't into my icecream, the others gobbled it up!)

Tristan pooped and peed 2 times today (no complaints!) Hayden pooped 1, Paige 1, Thomas 1 all in diapers.

Reminders: Can you believe how chilly it was this morning!!! Please bring a jacket to keep here or just bring days your kiddo comes (we go outside everyday in the morning unless it's raining!) Also make sure they are wearing proper shoes for outside play in the fall when it gets colder! Also bring an outfit or 2 for cold days when I need a change of clothes (Sept can be a tricky month with weather) Also I think Tristan needs diapers, I'll look down in the basement to see if I have extras because I feel like you just brought some. I think I'm running low on Thomas clothes too (I know I think I always am!)

Played outside for an hour (thank goodness I have a ton of coats) They had a blast running around. They were so excited to hear the train whistle a couple times (you can see it from our house) They kept saying "All aboard!" and choo choo (sissy screamed this!!!) We sang lots of songs too out by the swings!)

School:

Weather time: Bryce told us it was sunny outside and Wendy our weather girl put her sun glasses on. I had the kids practice saying sunny and Monday today

We talked about the rain forest and how they are found in south america (I had them try to say both words). We talked about animals we find there. They looked at a poster with south america on it.

We also learned about the #3 and had the kids pretend to buy 3 apples for 3 dollars and we counted. The 3 older kiddos did really well pretending to buy apples and counted them as we paid and put them in the basket

They colored their welcome to preschool picture (not so into coloring today though) Tristan loved that there were monkeys on it! Thomas did well coloring

We learned about the color green and made a special "green box" then walked around the room and put green items in it! Everyone participated and was eager to put something in. They also used a pretend paint brush to color (paint the green items) Tristan also loved this activity and kept painting his shirt since it had green on it

We learned a new song and danced to it! Rain Rain Rainforest. The kids loved it!!! We played it about 6 times! If only I had a video camera (Paige was getting so into the music clapping and Thomas stumped around dancing!) Landon spun in circles and the older boys jumped up and down

Thursday

Great day!!! My voice got a break for once (didn't have to yell or dicipline much today :)

Breakfast: fiber poptart, milk (sissy ate her cereal with fruit) Tristan didn't eat much (I was out of banana's and he said he didn't want anything else.)

Lunch: Everyone ate awesome! mac n cheese, organic blueberry yogurt, peaches, pb crackers (paige ate all this too!) with milk

Outside for most of morning and kids had fun chasing each other around. They played very well together (and loved the pool!!!)

Inside we did a practice round (intro) for school. They met Wendy our weather watcher girl (the kids loved her see pic) they just stared at her while she talked and smiled. WE talked about sunny weather and did the weather wheel. Then we learned about the letter Z (from my old curriculum) and the kids thought of words that began with z and colored (They did a great job of finding their seat via name tag too!) Paige even said Z!!!!! so cute! We sang and danced too!

Paige pooped 2 times, Tristan pooped and peed once on potty (other time was in diaper during breakfast. Hayden refused to sit (don't worry in Nov when we turns 3 I will put him in underpants he still has time!

Sorry your kids always seem naked! But with going outside and getting dirty I don't really clothe them till after lunch.

Tristan's feet seem much better, sorry if it was the water shoes making them irritated!

Paige will need diapers next week, don't bring anymore babyfood for her, I think she has the solid foods worked out now!

Good day! Everyone is having a great day! thomas and paige were a little grumpy after breakfast but got over it by the time we went outside. Did give paige motrin for teeth (yeah for tooth #1) at around 9:00

Breakfast: fiber pop tart, milk, banana (tom had choc chip pancakes since he missed out yesterday) paige had her cereal with fruit and milk

Lunch: Everyone (paige included) had stuffed shells, peaches, organic blueberry yogurt, with milk and pb crackers (Yeah for no babyfood!) I tried giving her a sippy for lunch and it was a no go will try again next week! Thanks Crystal for the peaches (all got woofed up!)

Paige had 1 messy diaper this am, Thomas had 2 poops.

Outside for a good bit this morning. Kids splashed in pool, (thomas played in the mulch hahah) sissy put a bucket on her head. Swinging, running, ball throwing good times

Inside we are getting ready for school (starts on monday!!!) The kids colored their name tags and I put a small pic of each of them. This will start introducing that words have meaning. They love seeing their pics on the table!!! FYI some of you got the parent news letter or will be getting it. It says it's for Sept, but it will probably take us 2 months to complete 1 month since I have the kids not every day.

Thomas will need diapers by next week. Paige needs extra clothes!

I hope everyone likes the new child care webpage I've created in order to give you daily updates and pics (sending you pics via email is a pain and this is much easier)

Breakfast was pancakes with choc chips, banana and milk (everyone ate well but had to be coaxed into eating) Paige ate all her cereal and fruit and milk

Lunch was spagetties, cheese, apple with lime juice, with milk. Everyone ate very well (appes were a huge hit) Paige ate 1.5 jars (acted like she didn't want them at first but then ate. She drank her entire bottle by herself (I think she might actually be able to take a regular sippy cup since she knows how to tip the bottle back!

Everyone but Landon (because he threw his on the floor immediately) got a fudge pop after eating and playing so well (loved it of course, especially sissy!!!)

Paige had 1 messy diaper before nap. Tristan pooped in his diaper this am while eating but then went on the potty and had a poo and pee after lunch. Hayden sat on potty after lunch (as you can see but did nothing)

All pics are from today so as you can see we played outside a lot (2 hours)!!!! Beautiful weather. All the kids swam (Hayden too, at first he wanted his clothes on but then said he wanted to swim after a half hour) Paige crawled all around and was put in the exersaucer when she looked tired. Tristan as you can see LOVES the tee-ball set (he plays with it everyday and tell the kids "Back" to tell them to get back so he can bat.

They also swang and played in the sandbox and pretended the clubhouse was a choo choo and got on and said "All Aboard!".

Inside they colored (sissy too!) and played trains (they played so well with the trains that I let them all stay up till 1:00)

I think everyone is good to go for everyting as of now! Just a reminder we are going to the E-town fair tonight if anyone wants to go along!
