Thursday

Breakfast: whole grain blueberry muffins, banana, milk (all ate very well, Lilly kept asking for "more" muffins, she had 6!!!
Lunch: pb and white stuff, cheese slices, apples, milk (again all ate very well)

The kids played great this morning! We had a playdate with the Stem girls and it was fun having 6 kiddos running around. Lilly just loved baby Taryn and kept playing right beside her. We played upstairs, downstairs, in the playroom (everywhere!) I even got to undecorate a bit (Tristan asked why I'm taking down the Christmas decorations and I told him because I need to get ready for baby Kobe) then Lilly crawled up to me and wanted to keep kissing my belly and saying "Kobe"

I kept asking Lilly if we are going shopping tomorrow. She keeps saying "new shoes" and "I shop" heehee!!! I found coupons on line so far for Childrens Place and Carters, still looking for a stride rite one.

The kids ate lunch and Lilly and Landon are surprisingly playing nicely in the playroom and the 2 bigger boys are upstairs playing (actually cleaning up) I told them if they clean up we'll play Toy story yatzee (Tristan loves that game and Aunt Ash does too!)

Tuesday

sorry no pics today (I need to upload all the Christmas pics and video clips and it's going to take a while)

Breakfast: whole grain choc. muffins, grapes, milk (all ate great!)

Lunch: Boys had pb and marsh, Lilly had stouffers mac n cheese (3 helpings!), apples, yogurt, milk All ate well again!

It was a good morning. We spent the morning playing with all of Bryce and Landon's new toys. Bryce was having some melt downs today (don't know why) but hopefully a nap will straighten him up.

Lilly and Landon have been playing a lot together today. I've found them playing cars together, and duplo blocks (all the kids love the new lego table), and the cutest was when they were reading together on Landon's bedroom floor. Tristan and Bryce have been buddies this morning as well.

Thursday

Breakfast: whole grain poptart, banana, milk (all ate very well) Miss Lilly wouldn't eat her breakfast in the high chair, but once I sat her with the big kids she gobbled it up (I know she wants to sit with them, but she's just too messy with some things still (like applesauce/yogurt) but I'll try her at the table more.

Lunch: pb and marsh, cheese slices, pears/applesauce, milk (Lilly ate great the boys ate about half of their lunches, so no treats today)

Sorry the meals aren't anything special this week, I'm just feeling so tired!!!

This morning went well. My boys were up bright and early and wanted to "play." Like I said above I was feeling very yucko this morning so I decided some prenatal yoga might help, It's only 20 minutes so I had the kids play downstairs while I got my yoga on (It was funny because the boys wouldn't stop watching and were trying the exercises (which are quite funny) Tristan and Bryce asked why all the ladies had big bellies (haha). Lilly was as good as can be and colored on the floor beside me.

After that we did crafts with stickers. I have this awesome craft where I paint their feet/hands and make angels, Bryce was the only one who was willing (everyone else was like "no way lady") So Bryce decided everyone is getting one of his masterpieces as a Christmas gift :-) Lilly still hates stickers!

We played some more and read books/listened to Christmas music. Then we were off on a little field trip. I returned a movie, stopped at The wild ginger to get a gift card for Christmas dinner (the ladies were loving the kids :-) Then we also stopped at the Pet store right next door to see some animals. The kids were so cute! They saw ferrets, chinchillas, snakes, turtles, crabs, fish (Tristan loved the Nemo fish and Bryce was in love with the fish that looked like Dory) I was so scared they were going to throw a fit and demand one but thank goodness nope! Lilly loved the animals too, she kept saying "fishy" "fishy". Landon had fun but of course was my handful. As soon as he saw pics of cats and dogs he wanted to be one and ended up on all fours barking or meowing the entire trip.

We came home, washed up, had some lunch and then the kids watched Christmas with Thomas the Tank, played a bit upstairs and were all down for naps at 12:30 (and no one complained!) I haven't heard a peep so "knock on wood" I think all are sleeping which is great because this lady needs to lie down from our adventures this morning!

Vogt's need diapers next week!

Oh funny quote of the day from Tristan: He was working on his sticker craft, then hands me the rest of the stickers and says, "Ashy, I've run out of steam" It took me a while to get what he was saying, and then I couldn't stop laughing, is this something he heard from mom?????

Tuesday

Breakfast: pancakes, banana, milk (all ate great!)

Lunch: pizza, juice, cupcakes (I know not healthy but it's Christmas!)

Oh my did we have a rip roaring time today! We were down at the Keen's house from about 10-1. We did crafts (stickers, coloring, painting), played games (pin the carrot on the snowman, bingo), decorated cookies (they have one to bring home), listened to music, played with lots of toys (Lilly was in love with Jocelyn's baby dolls), all the kiddos got prizes (Lilly got a stuffed monkey that she wouldn't let go of, and Tristan got a candy cane and fun Christmas straw). We ate pizza, and then sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and had cupcakes!

We ended our party with watching Frosty the Snowman and at that point most of the kids (except landon) were in a trance! They definitely had the time of their lives (thanks to the Keen's!)

We got home and I never had 4 kids go down so easily for naps! I think we went from total total silence in like 5 minutes flat! (Fingers crossed they sleep long and hard!)

Monday

sorry for only 1 pic today (our playdate had me forgetting to take pics)

Reid had a great day! He napped from 9-11:15 (had a little interruption but nothing a little butt patting couldn't fix!) He woke up happy and ate a great lunch and all his milk around 11:30. 1 messy diaper right before nap time too.

My boys were actually well behaved this morning too and played great (fingers crossed for a good afternoon!) Their buddy Liam came for a visit and the 3 of them were busy into their toys and play. They all ate lunch well together and now are off to sleepy land. We did a nativity sticker activity (you should see the difference between Bryce and Landon's pictures.

Thursday

Breakfast: banana bread with bananas :-) and milk (all ate great!)

Lunch: per request or command of Tristan pb and white stuff, cheese slices and apples (all ate great again!)

Great morning! The kids played great! We made christmas trees (it was interesting to see what they created without me helping!

The played legos for a long while and read some books, we got to play upstairs again this morning and Lilly loves it up there!

I told them everyone is taking a nap today since we have a busy night tonight! Fingers crossed!

Wednesday

Breakfast: I think Jocelyn forgot about her breakfast (I gave it to her but it doesn't look like she touched it), Reid was crying when he was watching my boys eat their banana bread so I gave him some cheerios to munch on (although he would have loved the bread it had choc chips in it!)

Reid played well this morning, had his bottle at 9 and was off to sleepy land. He loved my vacuum (I had to use it quickly outside his door and it put him right to sleep!) He slept until 11:20 and that was because I had to wake him to go pick up Bryce (he was in such a deep sleep too!)

Landon and I spent the morning doing flash cards (he knows every single letter now!) Reid liked playing with the cards. We also did lots of puzzles and cars.

We picked up the big kids and then came home for lunch. Everyone ate very well again (Jocelyn was motivated to eat because she really wanted her candy cane treat!) Reid ate very well and had another bottle at noon.

Jocelyn and Bryce had a great day at school. Bryce was so excited about his little gift from Jocelyn (just wait until their party on Friday!) You can tell Jocelyn isn't used to babies on the move (she kept looking at Reid the morning saying, hey you baby don't push me, because he was trying to use her to stand) Her and Bryce have been cooing at him all day though and loved making him giggle in the car.

Landon and Reid are now hanging out with me in the playroom while the big kids play upstairs. Nap time is soon, Jocelyn says she wants to rest and I'm making Bryce rest since he didn't yesterday.

Reid had 2 messy diapers today (both right after eating :-)

Tuesday

Breakfast: pancakes, milk (my banana's aren't looking too healthy, oh well banana bread for Thursday!) All ate great!

Lunch: pb and marsh, cheese slices, apples/sauce for lilly, milk (all ate super again, Lilly finished every bit!)

Great day today! The 3 little ones were so good at playing, they loved being upstairs today (I had some cleaning/organizing to do) They were great, Lilly followed me around and was my big helper girl, Landon and Tristan played and read a ton of books (oh that was the cutest, they each laid on their bellies for over an hour looking at disney books on the floor of my bedroom.

We spent the afternoon after lunch making the Vogt gingerbread house! It was a success and they kids had so much fun. They were limited to eating m &m's, marshmallows (lilly loves those!), It took a long while before Lilly discovered she could eat her decorations! Tristan said his house looks delicious!
