Oh man, I left my camera down in the basement (where Tristan is currently sleeping!) and I took some pics too :-(

Breakfast: poptart, milk, banana,
Lunch: pb and marsh on high fiber bread, apples, cheese slices, milk (All ate great at both meals, Tristan ate a whole sandwhich and just kept asking for more!

It was a bit of a rough morning (Bryce and Landon didn't get their right sleep so they were pistols and I can tell Tristan is big time missing mom and dad (wanting to carry his puppy around everywhere and crying if he doesn't have it) Sissy and Hayden have faucets for noses today (and Hayden's been carrying around his barf bucket all morning) He asked for it during breakfast but so far nothing. Don't worry I'll call you if he actually does throw up!

The kids did play well for the most part though. They were just loving the ball pit downstairs and they also watched the new Disneyland movie (which they LOVE!!!) Sissy says "more Mickey Peas!"

We took Bryce to and from school

We did our songs and danced (Landon and Paige were really into it today) We did the weather, calendar, and date, We also talked about diosaurs and Tristan did the one the kiddos did earlier this week. We talked about triangles and the color yellow. Everyone colored dinosaurs. Then we read lots of books.

The big boys played up in Bryce's room for a little after lunch and all were napping by noon!

All ate well for lunch. My pancakes must have been bad because Paige was the only one who ate any!

Can you say snot city today!! Everyone has a snotty runny nose today (especially Hayden) so much for no sick kiddos! Hayden also was peeing a lot today (5 times in a hour)

We learned new songs and had a blast singing today! We learned about pterodactyls and how they fly. We made one and pretended to make them fly. We did the date and weather. We also learned about yellow and what is yellow in the room. We finished out lesson off by playing a dinosaur fossil hunt game.

I blew up the ball pit for the rest of the morning they had a blast!

monday

Lunch: mac n cheese, yogurt, pb crackers, mixed fruit

All ate well (except Paige didn't eat much lunch because she ate a ton at breakfast!)

Great morning! All the kids are in good moods and are healthy !!!! Yeah! All played very well together and we had a great time during school.

We did the weather and date of week and month. We talked about the stegosaurus and Bryce and Hayden had practice today with cutting (Bryce is actually getting it while Hayden tried but then wanted me to do it) The cut out triangles and counted them and pasted them on their dinosaur. Then they colored them. We talked about the word forgiveness (but I think it was over their heads a bit) We played our dino memory game (they love it!) and sang some songs and danced.

Great day!

Put everyone down at noon (Paige cried at 12:30 and I checked on her and she pooped her pants) She told me princesses do not sleep in poo!)

Tristan had a huge nasty poop (so I think he should stay away from milk today.

All is well this morning. Took Bryce to school then spent the morning playing (which they did very well together). We did do the calendar/weather and sang our new songs. We also talked about the numbers 5 and 15 (Hayden says 15 is fiveteen) We pretended little squares were dinosaur fossils and collected 5 fossils for one container and 15 for the other one. We also colored a little. Everyone except Landon who is still up with me seemed super tired at noon and all went down without a fight. Paige had a super poop right before bed.

Well it was another crazy morning. Bare with me (it's been a rough week with my kids which makes watching other kids tough) Bryce has gotten this attitude this week (and it just occurred to me he is 3 and a half now and every year since he was 18 months he goes through a rough patch at the half mark (oh boy!!) Landon on the other hand is opposite and never went through a tough period at 18 months but he is definitely giving me a run of it these past few weeks now that he's almost 2!!!

So we tried to do our curriculum (but I found myself yelling more than teaching) We did do the weather and date (and sang 2 songs before Bryce started body slamming Landon) Then Bryce and Hayden played the game of memory (but it was with dinosaur names) they did a good job at pronouncing them.

Next we talked about fossils and came upstairs (this was the best part of the day) All 4 kids loved playing with play dough and we made some pretend fossils by rubbing leaves on it.

It was nice out (45 and sunny) so I thought the kids would love to run outside for a half hour or so (nope!) I got them all bundled up and Landon had this huge breakdown outside (seriously from the time he started outside and ended inside I think it was 45 minutes straight of crying. Paige seemed happy, but Bryce and Hayden weren't playing and just kept telling me they were cold. so after a whole 5 minutes we came back inside (somehow got lunch ready while all 4 screamed!)

Finally after lunch we had calmness and I was able to bath all 4 kids and put them down for naps.

Ughhh, now I need to go nap!

tuesday

No pics today (sorry!) We took Bryce to school this morning and then we went to Walmart and walked around (Hayden and me wanted to go to the mall too but Landon had a breakdown after Walmart). So we came home for a half hour and played. We did the calendar and weather report (just for Hayden) Didn't do any other curriculum since Tristan wasn't here this morning and we always repeat the lesson from Monday.

Lunch: mac n cheese, yogurt, banana/oranges, milk (all ate very well)

Great morning all in good moods and best yet no one is sick (not even a runny nose!!!! yeah!) Hayden and Bryce played well after Lunch in Bryce's room (they are soooo good sometimes)

Tristan got here around 12:45 and went right to sleep (he looked pooped!) hoping he sleeps until Gammy picks him up so he can feel better!

All ate well (Paige was a hungry girl at breakfast (ate 2 huge pancakes!)

Good morning and it was 50 degrees and sunny outside so we finally (after 2 months) got to play outside for an hour after lunch today!!! yeah I think the kids were in shock but they just loved it. It was also amazing to see how much Paige has grown in the past 2 months (motor skill wise) she was on a mission outside today!!!

It was a good morning (for the most part) my 2 boys are still in recovery mode from the illness so they were a bit more whinier and fussier than usual. But all in all they played well this morning.

We did our curriculum: The weather and calendar (Hayden just loves it!) sang out dinosaur songs (Paige and Landon love to pretend to be dinosaurs)
Then we talked about the letter T today. We made the T sound and thought of words that start with T. We colored and practiced writing the letter T in our journals.

Then we colored a picture of a T-Rex (starts with a T) Our T-Rex was missing teeth (another T word) so we talked about teeth (what they are used for, what color they are, are they hard or soft?) Then we looked at some sea shells and compared them to teeth (same texture and hardness) Then the kids glued the seashells on their T-Rex to make teeth. It was a very cute and fun lesson today!

Oh man, I left the camera downstairs and Paige is asleep down there so I can't upload the 2 pics I took (and they are cute) maybe when she wakes up??

All ate well (except Landon at Breakfast)

Today we did our curriculum

We sang our 3 songs (Hayden wasn't into singing today) but the other 3 danced up a storm. Landon and Bryce had a competition to see who could roar the loudest

Then we did the weather and calendar (Hayden's favorite activity ever is the calendar, he always asks me if he can take it home)

We read our dinosaur book (which didn't go so smooth and we had a lot of fighting and crying during this time)

Then we talked about the word bone and dinosaur and I taught them the spanish words for them. They practiced saying them and I used flash cards to see if they could pick them out.

Then we came upstairs and did a fossil picture using our pretend bones to paint. They turned out great!!! and everyone did a super job painting. Then the big boys wanted to paint a colorful picture. This is when we had major melt downs with Landon and Paige (it's always tricky painting with the little ones) we got through it though but by lunch I had to put Landon and Paige in highchairs and just let them cry while I got lunch together (Landon had a rough morning with his teeth and Paige was tired)

So we had lunch then we took bathes (I couldn't stand landon's hair anymore especially since he decided to gel it with syrup this AM) They had a great time in the tub and colored and played for over a half hour.

All were in bed by noon!

tuesday

All ate well except Landon and Tristan didn't touch their pasta today

Good day! We took Bryce to and from school. The kids did their curriculum today (recapping yesterday's lesson)

We did the weather, calendar (and found the pattern in the calendar with shapes and colors orange and yellow. Landon is actually starting to babble the right words for the numbers but randomly points. The other kiddos counted great. and Tristan said January very clear today.

We sang our 2 new dinosaur songs (Paige and Landon really got into the dancing) Tristan and Landon go into roaring like dinosaurs.

We talked about our dinosaur poster and counted the objects in the picture.

We read our new dinosaur monthly book (Tristan was the only one who really got into it and was pointing to pictures as I asked questions.)

Tristan did his finger play paper and yellow picture (like the other kiddos did yesterday. Paige, landon, and hayden colored the front of their journals.

We finished the day off with pretend yellow painting again!

The big boys played well upstairs after lunch!

MONDAY

Breakfast: cereal, muffins, milk

lunch: mac n cheese, pb crackers, yogurt, milk, banana

All ate very well for both meals and got a cookie for dessert

Well it was a good morning except for the part when my 2 had a huge melt down before lunch time (see picks of them throwing their fits!

We played with the match box car stunts this morning and watched sesame street.

During school time we...
1. Did the weather with wendy and the calendar date of day and week (Landon is sooo funny when he counts) Hayden and Bryce counted to 11 perfectly!

2. Talked about our dinosaur poster and did a search with our magnifying glass using counting. We also learned fun facts about paliontologiest, dinosaurs, volcanoes (Hayden says canoe), and fossils.

3. We colored a picture of 2 dinosaurs and did a new finger play with the dinosaurs

4. Learned about yellow and colored a paint brush yellow and drew a yellow dinosaur

5. Leaned a new song about a brontosaurus and practiced our song from last week

6. Finally we talked about big T and little T and did a hide and seek game with it. It was so funny because Hayden would hide the little T and Bryce would hide the big T then they would go find the T they hid in the first place (for some reason they loved this game :-)

The kids played well together. Landon is definitely teething today (hands in mouth all morning) Paige is in a great mood. Hayden and Bryce played very well together today!

Oh just got a call from Alicia!!! They are leaving for China in 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday

Breakfast: poptarts, milk, banana

Lunch: pb and marsh sandwiches, cheese slices, apples, milk

All ate great for both meals

Today we took Bryce to school and picked up. I noticed that Tristan and Paige were sleepier than usual this morning (so hoping they catch up during nap time today)

We did our curriculum time while Bryce was at school. Basically reinforced yesterdays lesson.

Tristan picked out his dinosaur name Tristan-Rex. We did the weather, day of week and month. We counted the numbers on the calendar (Landon is getting close to saying the numbers correctly!) We also found a pattern in our calendar and talked about patterns (what they are)

We talked about dinosaurs, Tristan picked out his favorite one and said they go "roar" but in a whisper voice. Hayden didn't want to participate as much today but Paige and Landon got really into roaring!!!

We learned a new dinosaur song (they loved it) and danced.

We colored some dinosaurs.

Then we learned about Yellow and using our pretend yellow "paintbrush" we went around the room painting things that are yellow (Tristan and Hayden did a great job) and Hayden even painted Tristan's hair :-)

All ate very well today!

It's been a great day! I think all the kiddos missed each other. We had no fights and lots of sharing and playing :-) All the kiddos got a bath today too!

We started our new curriculum. We of course started with wendy our weather girl (they really missed her!) It was so cute because Landon actually ran over to the window to check out the weather :-) We did the weather, day of the week and month.

I showed the kids a picture of dinosaurs and asked them questions like "if you were a dino how would you walk, sound?" They were very dramatic. They also picked out their favorites and told me why: Bryce:" I like the big purple one because it's big" Hayden: " I like the little one because it's cute"

Then we talked about money and the number 5. We role played how to pay with money (I was the cashier) Each kiddo took turns counting out 5 dollars to buy something. Paige and Landon just loved to throw the money around!

We also made name tags and turned them into dinosaurs, Say hello to Bryce-asaurus, Hayden-rex, Paige-asaurus, Landon-tops heehee

We colored dinosaur pictures and also talked about the color yellow today!

Great morning, Hayden and Bryce played really well after lunch in Bryces room, all are quiet!

All 3 boys ate terrific!

Great day, The 3 "stooges" played so well together! I think they loved it that I kept the gates open for them to chase each other around in a circle. They were so cute imitating each other (you know how that goes) Bryce had school so Landon and Tristan went along to drop off and pick up! Tristan said "I go to school too pease!!" I also ran Landon and Tristan quickly to Target to pick up a few grocery items (they were angels)

We spent the rest of the morning getting ready for our new curriculum. Landon and Tristan did the calendar and weather. We practiced saying "January" and counted the days on the calendar. Dinosaur curriculum starting tomorrow (you will have a parent info sheet to take home with you today!)

Tristan and Bryce played trains and colored on the white board after lunch for a while very nicely too!
