All ate very well and boy did the eat a lot at Lunch. I almost went through an entire loaf of bread and a whole chunk of cheese!

the kids are doing well today. Hayden had some issues early this morning (he cried after you guys left for a while and was angry if I asked him to go eat.) Then he was fussing over everything (including his breakfast) I gave him a time out upstairs so he could recollect himself) He of course cried but after 10 minutes he came downstairs a new man and ate his breakfast right down.

The kids played well after this episode all morning. We colored some Easter pics, went outside and played, played, played!

The boys are now playing upstairs (I'm about to end their fun :-( and the girls are in the play room.

As you can see the Rankin boys are fighting over Paige today :-) haha. She loves the attention too!

Lilly has a low grade fever 100 (I gave her infants tylenol with lunch so she'll be able to rest for nap time) She is still easy peasy today despite her cold. She does want to be held a little more than usual though.

We will have our egg hunt at 4:00!!! woop woop! it was a little damp out still this morning, I will post pics of it tomorrow!

We took bryce to school this morning and then walked around Kohl's for a little. The kids were great and then we headed home. The 3 kids played very nicely the rest of the morning and we read some easter books and did the calendar and weather.

After lunch the kids played with playdough and then it was nap time. All are down and quiet.

Remember, easter egg hunt tomorrow (might not do it until the afternoon depending how wet it is outside in the morning. I stuffed over 60 eggs! Bring your baskets!

Ughh I'm frustrated, I have some really cute pics of the kids today and blogger isn't letting me upload them!

All ate well except Paige was being a picky eater today

We talked about Easter today and how Jesus died on a cross for us and then rose again on Easter. WE read 3 stories about Easter (2 about Jesus and 1 just for fun) By the end of our discussion Bryce, Tristan and Hayden were arguing about who likes Jesus the best.

We then painted a cross and put sprinkles on it (glitter) Each paper says Jesus dies for (put the kiddos name here) They did a great job and really got into it!

The kids were very good today. Played very well this morning. My 2 slept in until 8:30-9 (so that might have been why! Things got a little hairy when I needed to feed Lilly and get lunch ready for the other kiddos. Bryce and Landon got timeouts in their rooms during this time and when lunch was finally ready the 3 other kiddos were playing so great and my 2 understood that they can't act like animals (I'm thinking time out in rooms will be happening for Bryce and Landon) everyday this week at this time (it's when they go crazo!)

Lilly was great and very easy peasy. She ate well. Feeding her earlier for Lunch worked out perfect. She did stay up until noon though. I worked with her on the straw (today I just took a real straw put some liquid in it and then dripped it in her mouth. She did start actually sucking out of the straw (this is how I taught my kids to use the straw) She loved it and kept opening wide for it.

All are in bed now (although Tristan isn't sleeping) but it's quiet otherwise.

Egg hunt is Wednesday (please bring a basket or something for your kiddos for the hunt) It should be fun!

All ate well except sissy only ate yogurt and cookies for lunch (yes I gave her cookies :-)

Well I did it! I went grocery shopping with 3 and they did very well. Let's just say there was candy involved :-) heehee! They were good though and we sang a ton of songs along our ventures.

We dropped off and picked up Bryce and then they played outside for a half hour until lunch time. They ate, played a little in Bryce's room and then off to sleep.

All seem well (my 2 are still giving me a run for the money!) Landon and his tantrums and Bryce and his meltdowns!!! Ughhh hoping next week is better!

Lunch: pb and marsh sandwiches, cheese slices, apples, milk

All ate well for both meals. Lilly was cranky (well for Lilly) and didn't want to finish her fruit and only took a few sips of her milk) She looked totally exhausted at lunch so I'm thinking that's why. She passed out instantly when I put her down at noon. She was easy peasy today (she reminds me of how Landon used to be) She just had a blast playing and watching the kiddos. There for a while she actually looked to be trying to crawl to get toys!!!

As for the other kiddos (can you say high maintenance Wednesday!) Man oh day I worked hard today! They just weren't in a great play together mood (it was more like pick on each other and steal and hord toys!) Tristan actually wasn't bad (he played pretty well, just had issues at clean up time, but a quick time out got him moving :-)

Bryce had a few time outs today, Landon was tantrum city. Hayden did pretty well but seemed more sensitive than usual. Paige was fussy (I thought she would fall right to sleep but I've been hearing her talk since 12 and now I hear her crying, so I might go up and check on her)

Other than the craziness, we had some fun activities planned. We talked about Easter today and what we see and do at Easter. The kids made cute chicks with their hand prints as wings (Lilly and Landon's chicks are wing-less they weren't very happy about me tracing their hands.)

We read an easter book (just a fun mickey one) we will start learning about Jesus next week (I have some of those books) Then the kids did well with coloring an easter picture.

We had lunch then went outside (which was a good time) for a half hour until nap time. All are in bed but all but Lilly are still awake!!! :-(

All ate well (Paige didn't eat too much for lunch though)

It's been a good day. Took Bryce to and from school. I had some cleaning to do so the other 3 played well together and followed me around pretending to vaccuum and such.

We went outside for a good hour and Paige and Landon swang a lot. Hayden of course was in the sand (he just loves to play in that stuff) We ate some lunch and played upstairs until nap time.

Monday

All ate well and wowza do they love nutella spread!

Well it's a Monday what do we expect??? My 2 are both getting over a virus from the weekend and were grumpy/fussy/sleepy studs. I could tell Paige wasn't feeling like herself (cried over little things) The Vogt kiddos and Hayden were pretty easy going this morning (so 3 for 3 haha)

We played a lot today (I had to readjust to having 6 kiddos at once again) WE did school time. We sang and danced to our songs (Lilly loves music she was cracking up laughing and swayed and clapped along)

WE did the day of month/week and weather. Then we talked about the color orange and the kids colored orange crayons in their journals. Then we talked about dinosaurs and their feet. The kids each made a pair of dinosaur feet.

I was going to do a pattern game with them (will do some other time this week) but they wanted to go outside. We played outside the rest of the morning (good thing because it started raining when they got inside.

After lunch all the boys played up in Bryces room (they did great, just made a big mess) and the ladies played downstairs.

All in bed by 12:15. I hope they sleep good, I need a nap :-)

Oh and Lilly must have been so tired from this mornings activities (she actually fell asleep in the exersaucer before lunch time!!) she wasn't happy when I woke her up! She ate all her food well but didn't want much milk at lunch time!! I tried and tried and tried (even after she ate) she just swatted it. Drank about 2 oz

Well Bryce was sick today (woke with a fever and just wanted me to hold him all day so sorry for the lack of pictures) The other kiddos were great today and did well playing together while I snuggled with Bryce.

Hayden did help me with the calendar, and we were outside most of the morning.

Oh and everyone is in need of diapers (Hayden pull-ups)

Great day! The kids are behaving well and playing great together (good so I have been able to get ready for the party!) We played inside first thing in the morning and did play dough and then painted shamrocks (had a blast and were really content with these activities)

We then went outside the rest of the morning and had lots of fun in the sunshine!

We took Bryce to school then made a quick trip to Target. The kids were good. When we came home we played outside (of course) it was still a bit chilly but it's warming up nicely now. We will be outside when the kiddos wake up from naps today.

Paige is still calling me Honey :-) Hayden was a little tearful at naptime.

Hayden needs clothes for changing, he has on short because he peed all over his pants when he went to the bathroom (obviously i'll give him a pair of Bryce's pants if he needs them when he wakes up :-)

Good day, the kiddos are little grumpy due to Day Light Savings (all were very ready for naps today) hopefully they will catch up on their ZZZ's then.

We played today and then had school time where we did the calendar, weather, sang a ton of songs (they are so good at them!) We learned about mussasaurus's (smallest dinosaur) Each child made a mussasaurus from their footprint. We played with a cube with different pics, letters, we rolled them and then they would yell out the pic/letter. We also leaned about the letter E and that egg and elephant start with E. We did a treasure hunt guessing game with clues (facts about mussasaurus and volcanoes) The older boys did well with the guessing game.

I'm thinking this will be the only day of school this week. Have you seen the weather!!! After today, sun sun sun sun and high of 60-65 for the rest of the week. We will be OUTSIDE!!! and I'm going to find some St. Patty's day activities and crafts to do. wooooooooooohooooooooo!!

Oh Shana, Kyle isn't working late so, we are going to head to the gym as soon as you guys get here for the kiddos and do hopefully at least 30 min. of body pump then I'm going to do at least 30 more minutes of zumba (I gotta get my body pump in since we are missing wed)

We will probably go for a walk tomorrow (you want to go?)

Then Thursday maybe do Belinda's class or go for a walk again????
