Thursday

Oh boy, I'm exhausted!! It was a super busy day!

Breakfast: poptarts and milk

Lunch: a smorgasbord of food at the party/picnic!!! And of course they had their cookies which they loved!

So we went to the grocery store today (wow 4 is a lot more than 3!) WE survived and I got about half of my shopping done (including candy for the candy toss at the graduation party!)

We got home and then it was time to get ready for the picnic. The kids were great and had fun (although they were so tired and hot by the time it was over!) Landon wasn't a happy camper (he's sick!) They ate well, Paige was talking to flies (it was funny) they saw Bryce get his certificate and then played in the playground and sand. Then they had the candy scramble (the Carver kiddos and Bryce looked like pros while Landon didn't really "get it".

So all in bed, and I'm pooped, I hope they all sleep until Daddies and Mommies get home from work!

Wed. and yeah for pics!

Breakfast: cheerios, banana, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh on wheat, yogurt, canteloup, milk

All ate very well (Hayden gave me no trouble and woofed his food, maybe he is finally hungry?)

Almost all the kiddos ate a whole sandwhich for lunch!! Hayden even asked for another half after that!

Today was busy busy busy and it was excellent!

WE first got "cookie monster" aka Bryce's fish a new tank and set that up (the kids had fun helping out and just might want their own little fishy) Then we coated on the sunscreen and changed and out we went!!

WE did the parachutte (fun but it would be more fun if there was a second adult to help me with it!) Kyle we should try this with the boys. The loved it, we played ring around the rosie with it.

Then we of course did lots of swimming, and sprinkler time.

We swang and played played played!

Then we painted some May Flower pictures (it was so funny to see the 2 year olds (well Paige included) at one table and how they just smeared the paint everywhere. The 3 year olds at another table taking their time and painting just in the lines.

Then we swam some more to wash off.

11 o clock was lunch time and then the kids just looked worn out so they played quietly and watched some bob the builder until nap time.

12:30 and all is quiet!

Oh Paige needs diapers by next week! And we will be at the playground tomorrow so I would wear sneakers on Paige and Hayden so mulch doesn't get in their sandels!

Kyle how do you take off the beach pics???? I really wanted to take pics today but they are still on there :-(

Breakfast: poptarts, milk

Lunch: mac n cheese, milk, yogurt, apples and bananas, cotton candy for dessert (you should have seen Paige's face when she had the cotton candy too funny!) Hayden did the baby talk thing at lunch and refused to eat by himself (so I had to put him in a room alone and then he ate)

We took Bryce to school, then did a real quick trip to Rite aid then spent an hour at the playground at Browns (they had so much fun and wow Paige is a crazy lady!) We checked out the inside too for Bryce's cake.

We came home for a while and played outside then picked up Bryce and back home to eat lunch! They all seem super pooped and I'm hoping they take a great nap!

Landon is downstairs as I type with Miss Karen doing speech at his new time. All the kids upstairs are a little angry they don't get to join in.

I hope I can take pics tomorrow!

Monday!!

sorry for no pics today, we still have a bazillion of pics on our camera from the beach that Kyle needs to delete (it will get too complicated to take more pics with it!)

Breakfast: oatmeal pancakes, banana, milk

Lunch: grilled cheese on high fiber bread, vanilla yogurt, apples, milk

All ate very well (Lilly ate a great breakfast but only about half of her lunch) she was falling asleep during lunch but then afterward perked up and played until noon. She did gag on her graduate meal a few times.

Well this morning went better than I expected. Bryce was picking a bit and Hayden was a little emotional but by lunch time all seemed much better. We just played all morning and caught up as to what everyone did over the weekend.

Tristan talked about his new swingset and how he's going to have a really big sand box.
Hayden told me about falling into the pool? And how his pop pop tickled him
Lilly and Sissy were really into playing today (i think they just missed the toys)

We even got to play outside for a good hour today (the girls swang and the boys played pretty well for the most part)

They all ate lunch and then Bryce and Landon showed the kids their new train table and that occupied them until nap time.

****Tomorrow is Bryce's last day of school. Thursday is his graduation party at Jon rudy park. Kyle and I will be taking the Carver kiddos to it.

Shana and Jer (i've been dreading this summer with Bryce out of school) I know it sounds horrible but those 4 hours a week are just what he and I need. Anyway, this is going to be a long summer if we are stuck at my house 4 days in a row. I was thinking (if you are willing to pay) of maybe taking the 4 kids on a few "field trips" throughout the summer just to change things up a bit. They won't be crazy expensive things (and I'm sure Kyle will want to take a few hours off for some of them to join in on the fun!) I was thinking:

1. Ultimate playzone (I think it's like 5 bucks and Paige is free)
2. Hands on house in lancaster PA
3. maybe see a tour of wolfgang chocolate factory?

I'll have to check out some things, Maybe do 1 every other week ??? or every 3 weeks??? We'll see,

Thursday

All ate well for breakfast, Bryce was the only one who ate well at lunch??? Weird.

It was a good morning. We took Bryce to school and then did grocery shopping. It was a rough shopping trip only because Landon wasn't in the mood. so I did groceries in like a half hour (but I got them all!)

The weather tricked me into thinking it was going to be nice, but by the time we came home it was dreary again. We played and then picked up Bryce. Came home and ate lunch then off to bed. Not too much excitement today!

wednesday

Breakfast: french toast casserole (with pecan topping), banana, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh on wheat, apples, cheese slices, milk

All ate super well today, Lilly ate and drank well (went through 1 entire milk!!)

Well this morning went well except for the fact of Sissy barfing (2 times) She ate like a piggie for breakfast (had seconds too!) I didn't even realize she threw up until she came over to me and had crud all over her then Hayden showed me the 2 piles! The kids did well downstairs while I cleaned up.

So not sure if it is a stomach bug (fingers crossed everyone else will be spared) or if she might be allergic to pecans or just ate too fast?

So the rest of the morning after Paige went home we read books, did a dinosaur painting craft, made a class book of dinosaurs (Bryce's dino looks like a real dino!) we also painted pictures with water and did the calendar and weather.

Lilly is doing great today! She was all over the place (literally!) She is scooting around on her belly backward very well. She went from laying on her belly to sitting a few times too (with no help!) It is amazing what a difference 2 days can make. She was so content just trying to move herself around the room all morning. I took a pic of her on all 4's as she was scooting backward. She is soooo going to be fully crawling by the time I see her next (in a week and a half!) yeah for Lilly!

Tuesday

Breakfast: fiber 1 poptarts and milk

lunch: mac n cheese, yogurt, apples, milk (Landon got a cookie for eating well the others didn't eat too much)

So not too much excitement here! The weather is blah (is it May??) so we stayed inside this morning. I spent the morning cleaning and getting some packing for vacation started. The kids enjoyed some time upstairs with me to play (a new place and new toys) WE will do the grocery store on Thursday (Hayden said he misses it!) haha

We did read some books before picking up Bryce. Hayden and Paige and Landon enjoyed playing with cat toys and using my laundry baskets as race cars upstairs all morning.

The big boys played upstairs after lunch today and the little ones watched bob the builder until nap time.

Bryce had his pretend birthday at school today. He walked out of the room with a king's crown on looking so proud. I noticed everyone saying goodbye to him today (he was the king of preschool I guess!)

Monday!!

Breakfast: oatmeal pancakes, banana, milk all ate well, Lilly was not into her cereal with bananas (it took like 45 min to get her to eat about 3/4 of it, she drank her milk well)

Lunch: pb and marsh on high fiber bread, grapes, cheese slices, milk, cookie (thanks gammie!) Everyone ate super duper well again! (Lilly woofed her food down must have been hungry since she didn't finish her lunch!)

So today was a fun day and I was in the mood for some changes! First off I put Tristan in big boy underpants right after Breakfast and he did super (Alicia he is ready!) He was so proud of them and just pranced around the house. I explained that he can't pee or poop in big boy pants or he'll make a mess. I put a little potty out and showed him where it was just in case he had an emergency and couldn't tell me to go to the big potty. So this is what happened, he was playing and playing and then he came over to me and looked at me funny. I said "tristan do you have to go potty" he said, yes Ashy! Well he did start peeing in his pants but just enough to make it damp (so he stopped it from coming out and came over to me and told me he had to go) After that no more accidents. He asked me to go pee pee another time, then after lunch he went poo poo and asked me again (I didn't even have to make him sit). We celebrated with a round of m and m's for all!!! Hayden said, wow Tristan you are such a big boy and now we get a treat because you did so good!" At nap time he threw a huge fit when I told him he had to put on a diaper. He said he wanted his elmo underwear! So we compromised and put on a pull up (but I promised he'll get to wear big boy underwear after his nap again!)

I also decided to do make overs on the girls. We did hair and nails!!! All pink and pretty! I found some little girl hair bands hidden away in my room and just had to do it! they looked so cute! Paige keeps saying "I'm so pretty" of course the boys begged me to paint theirs but I didn't give in. Oh and Tristan asked me, "Why does Liddy have horns??" haha I almost peed my pants!

Bryce did not get enough sleep last night but he did much better than I expected, he told me "mommy its one of those days where I have to be alone" and he was all morning, he played in a seperate room for a good bit and stayed under control (it was nice!)

Hayden had a good morning as long as he was away from Bryce. Landon also was pleasant and played great! Lilly was on her belly almost all morning long!

All in bed now, fingers crossed for a while!

Thursday!

Breakfast: Fiber 1 poptarts and milk ( Jocelyn had her pancakes and ate about half of them)
Lunch: Spagettios, grapes, butter bread, cheese, milk

All ate very well for both meals.

This morning flew by because the kids played so well! (well at least until we took the big kids to preschool) Jocelyn and Bryce played played played right up until it was time to go to school. They spent most of the morning downstairs playing in the play house cubby (Paige joined in on the fun, I think they were playing house and she was the baby)

We took the big kids to school (Jocelyn just loved that we have movies in the car) She was hoping for a princess movie (unfortunately I told her we are lacking those type of movies but she can bring one along next time) They settled for a mickey movie

Paige and Hayden were out of sorts the rest of the morning. Just very sensitive. We played around the house and I tried to clean a little from the party yesterday. We didn't go outside since it looked like it was going to rain but now it's nice and sunny so maybe after nap time??

We picked up Bryce and then headed home and had lunch. All the kids looked exhausted and are down for naps (I hope they get caught up on their sleep today!)

Enjoy the pics, I only got to take 2 today before my battery died, but Crystal Ann took pics (hence why there are a lot of Thomas) during the party!
