Thursday

Breakfast: banana mini muffins, milk and Tristan had a banana. Lilly didn't eat much today.

Lunch: Lilly had spagettios, applesauce, cheese slices and milk (again she didn'te at much) Tristan ate well he had a pb and marsh sandwich with cheese slices, apples and caramel dip and milk.

So today we took Bryce to school (Bryce is acting funny by the way) When he came home from school he laid on the couch instead of running around like a crazy person. he already told me he's tired (so he's def napping) He wants to watch Shrek on TV tonight!

I took the kids to Kohl's for a return and to pay my bill. They were so good that I got up the nerve to take them over to Target to look at the toy section for Christmas. I told them if anyone melts down we are out of there! They were PERFECT!!! I let the boys walk around and had Lilly in the stroller. The boys stayed right by me. Target has all the new Christmas toy display boxes up and they had so much fun pushing buttons to see what the toys would do. Lilly got scared at one point at a toy that was a little loud.

Tristan and Landon were cracking up at "stinky" the tonka trash truck. He was silly and talks. He's a robot truck that moves like a person (I know weird) But they thought it was funny that his name was stinky. They didn't even ask for any toys (I was shocked!) but didn't want to leave, Tristan said, I don't want to go home and play I like looking at toys!!!)

Then we came home and played for a bit until it was time to pick up Bryce.

The kids are now playing in the pampered chef box I got with my kit yesterday!

Wheewww, I gotta go change lilly, she stinks!

Brandon gave Bryce and Landon their halloween goodie bags today at preschool since we won't be able to make it sunday. Jocelyn got goodie bag fever so I told her I would send ours for her home with her today (we are delivering the rest of the kids in the neighborhood tonight) but her's has a few extra things in since I watch her :-)

What a yucky day today! Great day to work if you ask me. The kids ate breakfast (both of mine were up surprisingly early). Jocelyn ate well for breakfast. They had a good amount of time to play before school time.

They made cute squirrel pictures today at school and Jocelyn's glasses were a hit! She was showing them to everyone in the other pre-K class after school was out. Didn't get too much else out of them about school. We came home and ate lunch (they ate very well!) and then I gave them some Halloween chocolates (those things are going to be the death of me!) I of course had to have 3 mini candybars myself!

They played some more until I could tell my kids were exhausted. So much that Bryce didn't even argue! Jocelyn is laying down now too and is very quiet (I doubt she's sleeping) but wow is she quiet!

Tuesday

Breakfast: home made mini banana choc chip muffins, milk (and Tristan had a banana too) All the kiddos ate well, I had to hand feed Lilly (she wouldn't eat otherwise)

Lunch: eggies with cheese, the boys had apples with caramel dip (lilly had oranges), jelly toast, milk, and halloween cookies for Lilly, Tristan and Landon who ate very well!!!! Jocelyn and Bryce ate about half of their lunches (we'll try later)

Great morning! We had fun catching up after not being together for a week! We did a spider craft that Landon did last week with their handprints. I let the kids play with pretend spider webs. We glued and traced. We sang itsy bitsy and counted the spiders' legs. We then colored for a long while after our project.

We then went downstairs and read some Halloween books and listened to music. Tristan was really into puzzles for a while and Landon and I helped with that.

The Vogt kiddos are sleepy heads today! Lots of eye rubbing and just looking sleepy (even Tristan) he was just laying on me for a while this morning. After lunch he didn't even want to go play upstairs (very unusual) he just laid in the playroom with Lilly.

We also played ball downstairs (with very soft balls)

Monday

Ian ate a great breakfast of banana, pancakes and milk! He ate his applesauce, cheese, and a little bit of his pb and j sandwich and some milk at lunch.

Fun and busy day! The morning flew by! The three boys had a great time this morning! Baby Reid came to visit from 8-9:30!!! We played in the playroom for a bit then went down to the basement. We listened to music and did our weather for the day. Bryce said he missed school so we also did a mini lesson about butterflies. The kids made some butterflies (and we talked about symmetry and used finger paint to show it).

We then came upstairs to show Reid his "sleep room" so then we had to play in the boys' rooms. Oh my did Ian have fun with that! He was squealing in delight when he saw their race car beds!!! Hint hint momma!!! He was a busy man playing with their choo choo table and trains (another hint for santa!!!)

Then we said good bye to Reid and played outside (it was so nice out!) Warm too, hence why Bryce has no shirt on (he was sweating) and he wanted a pic of his belly tattoo. We then went to the peds office for flu vaccines (me and Ian played in the yard beside the office outside) He fell asleep on the ride home for a few minutes so I let him stay up until 1 for nap.

We ate lunch then went outside for another hour or so! the boys were so funny. My two were going up and down the hill with their trucks, Ian was following behind and was scooting down the hill on his bottom!!! :-)

Friday

Jocelyn did well with her new cereal this morning :-) The boys woofed their fiber 1 poptarts (they love those things!!!)

at Lunch time Landon was the only one who cleared their plates. I'm pretty sure though Jocelyn will be munching on her's later this afternoon when the boys are napping.

The kiddos woke up early today so they got to play with Jocelyn for a good bit before school. School went well, although I didn't get much out of them as to what they did. I know they painted a fish and had pretzel goldfish for snack.

We came home and had some lunch and then I was hoping for outside play but we were only out for 5 minutes when Bryce decided it was too cold!!! Ahhhh, looks like my boys will need their winter jackets soon in order to get them to play out there!

They all went upstairs and are playing great! Landon is already down for a nap, I hate to interrupt Jocelyn and Bryce since they are playing so great, maybe he'll go down for a late nap at 2????

Can't wait for tonight, I'm making ranch wraps with salsa to dip!

Wed

Jocelyn ate her entire breakfast!!! So did the boys (must have been a hungry day!)

Jocelyn watched tv until around 8 (she was sleepy) that's when I woke the boys up and got everyone ready. They played well for the 45 min. before school time.

School went great! The froglets were a hit. FYI Miss Anstine said she had some (still has the frogs) and it took them a year to change!!! She didn't use a heat lamp either. Mrs. Knisley said that she called them baby frogs and Jocelyn HEAVILY corrected her (no they are froglets!) haha

They learned about spiders today they both were describing in great detail about how they lay eggs and the babies climb on their mamma's back until bigger. I was impressed.

Landon had lots of fun with Thomas today! They did a Halloween craft and played super well! The morning flew by (love days like today) Let's just hope the afternoon goes just as well.

Not sure about naps yet today, we'll have to see if I think Bryce can do without!

Wed

These are for you daddy! At least if they aren't these cute adorable creatures for Halloween I still got pics!!! Although they've told me they want to be these for trick or treating!?? We'll let them pick for each party and trick or treat! Oh by the way, Trick or Treat in Red Lion is Sat. night, you want to take them around and stop by your mom's since we don't have any parties to attend???

Monday

Breakfast: whole wheat banana bread with choc chips and milk (All the boys ate very well, Ian didn't drink much though)
Lunch: pb and marshmallow on wheat, cheese slices, yogurt, and grapes, milk. Ian ate a ton of grapes and cheese today! He also drank his entire cup of milk, not into the sandwich though.

Awesome morning! We were super busy and it flew by! We ate breakfast and then took Bryce to school. Came home and talked about Halloween and things we see at Halloween. We talked about spiders and sang "itsy bitsy spider" then made a spider craft using our hands. The boys loved playing with the "pretend" cobwebs. After we were finished we counted our spiders' legs.

We then went downstairs and played for a while. We sang songs and danced, read lots of books, and did our alphabet flash cards. Ian is still kind of young for the flash cards and doesn't like to sit still for books, but I know just hearing the letters/words and and seeing them he'll be wanting to participate soon!

We then got to go outside and play for a half hour. We swung and ran around the yard. Ian and Landon were very into the play cars too!

Then it was time to pick up Bryce, we came home and then had a visit from Jen and baby Reid. We ate some lunch and then played. Bryce had to play upstairs after lunch (he was crazy from school and not napping yesterday) The 3 little ones played great in the playroom.

All are sleeping, They were put down around 12:45 (they were exhausted!) I can tell my two didn't have a nap yesterday (wow they couldn't be in the same room together today!) Ian is in a great mood! No fussing at all today! Very into playing and keeping super busy.

Thursday

Breakfast: waffles with pb and syrup, milk and Tristan ate a banana All ate well

Lunch: Lilly had spagetti, some pizza, applesauce, cheese, and milk. The boys had pizza, chicken soup (didn't eat much of that), apples, cheese curls, milk They all ate well

We took bryce to school then I HAD (as in almost out of milk and bread) to go quick grocery shopping. We were in and out in a half hour and they were very good. We came back and played and read books and listened to music until it was time to pick up Bryce again. The kiddos ate lunch and then the big boys went upstairs to play, Lilly is hanging out with me in the playroom.

Ummm seriously, I had like at least 5 people (including the bag boy) comment how darn cute Lilly is! Poor boys they get the shaft when pretty girl is around! Doesn't help that she is a total flirt and waves at everyone and says "hi!" Stinking cutie pie!

Everyone is in good moods but I'm hoping with the yucky weather everyone sleeps well too! Including Mr. Bryce (he needs a nap!)

Wed

Jocelyn ate all her breakfast in 5 minutes this morning!! That was a record!!! She drank her yogurt drink, ate a few crackers and had a little soup for lunch so far.

Jocelyn laid on the couch until around 8 this morning, when Bryce and Landon finally woke. They all had about a half hour to eat and play.

School went well (Jocelyn said they played hide and seek with her egg). I asked what they learned today and J said "if you catch fire, drop, stop and roll, and if there is a baby birds egg then you gently scoop it up and roll around with it???" haha!!!

Your going to be excited Nicole!!! Next field trip at the fire house is on a Monday!!! Nov. 1st!!

Also there is a sign up sheet for the Halloween party for snacks/paper goods/goodies/treats. Although your already providing the craft so you wouldn't need to give anything else, but if you want me to sign you up for something let me know.

The kiddos are playing with a bunch of balloons and having a balloon parade! I'm going to try and let Bryce stay up *but he is tired!" so look out daddy for a grumpy kiddo tonight!!

Tuesday

Breakfast: Lilly had cereal with milk and a choc muffin and ate well, Tristan had a banana and only a few bites of his pancake.

Lunch: Lilly at a ton!!! Spagetti, cheese, oranges, and milk (Halloween cookies for treat), Tristan had pb and marsh sandwich, mickey cheese, apples, and milk and halloween cookies. Jocelyn had her yogurt drink and not too much else for lunch so we will try again later.

We had a very unproductive morning!!! We took Bryce to school and I was going to take a short trip to the township building to drop off our sewer bill and registration forms (thought I would save money on a stamp) well we got into big traffic with construction and it took a lot longer than 5 minutes!!! The kids did well though!

We came home and played in the basement, sang songs, and danced, then it was already time to pick up Bryce.

Lilly still has no poops!

Jocelyn is playing very well with the kiddos.

All seem in great moods (except Landon who is angry because he didn't get a cookie at lunch!)

Friday

Jocelyn wanted dry cereal for breakfast and ate about half and had some strawberry milk. I took the kiddos and dropped them off for school, then had to pick them up 15 min early for speech. I gave them their lunches in the car. Jocelyn ate half her sandwich and a strawberry and drank her yogurt drink (I'll try to get her to eat more later)

Speech went well and wow is it nice outside! Landon and Jocelyn played on the playground for 45 minutes. Then we headed home.

The kiddos are now playing nicely upstairs before "quiet time" Bryce needs a nap bad!!!! Jocelyn and I will work on her ghost this afternoon.

Thursday

Breakfast: blueberry pancakes, milk (everyone ate really well)
Lunch: spagettios, pb and marsh, grapes, mickey cheese, milk and Halloween cookies (all ate great again!)

Fast morning! We took Bryce to school then played downstairs (I had to vaccumm and clean the bathroom down there and the kids were awesome and just played so well and let me get it all done!!) We then sang song, read books, did puzzles, and painted a jack o latern.

We went outside for the last hour of the morning before picking up Bryce. It's so beautiful outside today!! The kids had a blast since they've been cooped up inside all week, if they get up early enough we'll go out after naps too!

No poops from either of your kiddos today yet! Lilly seems more chipper today. Just a little runny nose. She showed me her going up the stairs skills :-)

Wednesday

Jocelyn didn't eat much breakfast or lunch today. Just a little nibble here and there, we'll see if she eats later on.

She went #2 3 times this morning (counting the time you were here) poor thing, by the time I picked her up from preschool she said,

MY BUTT HURTS and when I sit it spreads. She now calls her poop, hot diarrhea! She said she went once at school. She told me her belly hurts *but it might be from not eating???? She's playing fine and acting fine as long as she's not thinking about it.

Since lunch she ran to the bathroom saying "oh no the hot diarrhea is coming" haha then said nope. But was complaining about how sore it was so I put some cream on (well she didn't like that one bit!!!) She continued to wipe it off a few trips to the potty. It's been about a half hour since the last complain so we'll see. I really think it is from the miralax because she's acting fine.

So hopefully she'll eat and stop pooping :-)

The kids are playing very nicely today (we did go and get new pants for Jocelyn the ones you described)

We will have an hour of quiet time for Bryce and Jocelyn from 2-3 (I'm going to try to let Bryce skip nap today so he goes to bed early)

Kyle please try to get Bryce to bed at 7:30-8, so he's not up when I get home so we can watch our show tonight!!! LOVE YA!

Tuesday

Breakfast: pumpkin bread, grapes, milk (Lilly and Bryce didn't eat much but Tristan and Landon ate a ton!

Lunch: eggs with cheese, jelly toast, apples and pb, and milk (They all ate everything on their plates except Lilly and Landon who didn't eat their apples (but Mr. Landon actually took a bite and ate it!!! woohooo!!!) They all got Halloween cookies as a treat.

Fun day today!!! We took Bryce to school came home and the kiddos played while I folded laundry. Then we talked about our new Month (October) and what happens in October (Halloween, Daddy(Uncle Joes) and Aunt Whit's birthdays) We talked about Halloween and what we see. Then we made our first ghost project. Super duper easy and the kids loved it, they played ghosts all afternoon.

We went downstairs and danced and sang (Tristan was all about dancing and actually didn't want to stop to do flash cards) Landon and Lilly did flashcards and I was impressed that Landon knew every single letter except 3!!!! Wow! Lilly repeated the letters. WE also read books, and put puzzles together. The morning just flew by.

We picked up Bryce, ate lunch and then the big boys played a little while after I put Lilly down for a nap (boy was she sleepy today!!!)

I will need diapers again for Tristan and Lilly (I feel like I go through them so fast, sorry!) I guess it's because they both use them!

Friday

Breakfast: Jocelyn ate half her bagel
Lunch: She ate a bit and said she wasn't very hungry at the moment so we'll try again in another hour or so.

The kids played great early this morning (although Bryce wasn't up till 8:15) Jocelyn looked sleepy and laid around until the boys woke up.

I took them to school and then Landon and I had a playdate with Thomas!

Picked up the kiddos and decided to check out their classroom again. They showed me all their art work and cubbies and that the month changed. Jocelyn had an accident with black paint today and it got on her bottom. The teacher said she's never had a child get paint on their seat! haha. I'll try my best to get it out today but it's quite a bit!

The kids came home and ate lunch and are now playing *unfortunately Bryce has already had a major melt down so he and Landon will for sure be taking a nap this afternoon!
