Tuesday

Breakfast: Lilly had fruit loops in milk and banana (and ate great) Tristan had an english muffin and banana with is milk (ate great not too much drinking)

Lunch: Lilly woofed her lunch, yogurt, applesauce, spagettios, Tristan had a pb and white stuff, apples, cheese, yogurt (ate great still didn't drink much)

We had a good morning. The kids were really into coloring today. We colored and went over some letters/numbers (Tristan is going through a "I can't do it" phase because he wants everything to look perfect) We talked about Christmas (didn't get to do any crafts as I was going through my books today to get ready and buy craft supplies) We will be doing a lot!! Starting with our handprint ornaments next week!

Tristan got a funny look on his face and I asked if he needed to use the potty, he looked down his pants and said "actually I do need to finish peeing" So then he sat and went (I was trying my hardest to get him to put on underpants today but he got so upset about it) He told me he's going to use the potty more (we'll see)

We did puzzles, sang and listened to Christmas music, The kids are playing very well together today! Yeah!!

Monday

Breakfast: pumpkin muffins, banana, milk
Lunch: mac n cheese, oranges, yogurt, milk

Ian ate very well for both meals (especially breakfast!)

We had a good/relaxing morning. We played and then did lots of arts/crafts (Bryce is obsessed!) We colored and painted and did stickers (Ian was so funny with stickers, he just kept giggling when they were stuck on his fingers.

We played and sang lots of Christmas music and played upstairs (oh my Ian and Landon were hunting down kitty cats left and right, I had to lock the poor things up in my room so they would leave them alone (it was so funny to see Ian squealing at them)

The boys all played choo choo's upstairs although Bryce was getting frustrated that Ian likes to destroy the track more than build it (but hey he needs practice for when Kobe gets here)

Ian is fast asleep and I'm hoping the big boys are to follow soon!

Tuesday

Breakfast: english muffins with cin/sugar, milk, bananas

Lunch: Lilly and Landon had eggs with cheese, Tristan and Bryce (pb and white stuff), with yogurt, apples/applesauce, milk

Everyone ate well for both meals today! Lilly hasn't had too much to drink though.

It was a good morning! We took Bryce to school then came home and talked about Thanksgiving and what we are thankful for. We made hand turkeys (and counted out fingers), then we colored and pasted feathers on. We talked about the colors of our feathers and how the feathers feel. Tristan was so into pasting today, I drew him a big tree and cut out leaves for him to glue on (it kept him busy for over a half an hour)

We colored up a storm after that, then read some books. The kids then played nicely while I "attempted" to make my first pumpkin pie. haha, the pie turned out nice but it overflowed and my house smells "burnt!"

We then picked up Bryce and came home and ate lunch. After that I could tell the kiddos were ready to go to bed (well the biggest hint was when Lilly totally zonked out after she was finished eating onto her plate) just like that (boom!)

So all are in beds, although I still here Tristan and Bryce playing.

Monday

It was a good morning!

Lunch: grilled cheese, grapes, yogurt, milk (and cookies)

I've never seen Ian eat so much in my life!!! Wow was he hungry, he cleaned his plate for both meals!

We had a good morning, we took Bryce to school and then came home and read books, sang songs, did a turkey craft (and talked about how many fingers we have and what color our turkey feathers are). We also played playdough. Ians fav song this morning was the itsy bitsy spider! He has those hand motions down!

We then went outside for an hour because the sun came out and it was actually "nice" out! The boys had fun just running around, I piled up some leaves for them to jump in.

We then picked up Bryce, ate lunch, and then it was time for nap.

Ian did have a few teary moments today (never saw him get like that) So I'm guessing it was because he was either A. hungry, or B. tired.

I have about 4 diapers left of Ians (so will need a few to get me through Dec.!

Thursday

Breakfast: pancakes, banana, milk (Lilly ate nothing for breakfast so I gave her some fruit loops which she then ate, Tristan ate everything!)

Lunch: Lilly had spagettios, Tristan had pb and white stuff with grapes, cheese, milk (they both ate well)

Lilly won't drink any milk today again! I'll try juice after nap.

Ughhhhhh I'm pooped today! Landon and Lilly (the two L's) were cranky spanks today! I did take the kids to Micheals (I heard they were having 80% off halloween crafts (I got a ton of stuff for next year) we were in and out in 15 minutes but wow Landon was horrible!

We came home and once again they didn't want to do anything like coloring or crafts, so we played and read lots of books and sang some songs. Tristan was begging to go outside and I would of but Lilly is just getting too much for me to carry all around the place out there (thankfully it's getting to be too cold/yucky most days anyway)

We picked up Bryce and he did lots of painting today (thank goodness!) he's been obsessed with painting. So he and Tristan painted after lunch while I put the 2 cranks to bed (they both were tired so that explained it!)

I was hoping Bryce would go to bed right after painting but he really wanted to play with Tristan so I'm giving them 15 minutes before I send them both off for quiet time!

Wednesday

Jocelyn ate a good breakfast and is currently working on her lunch.

The kids had a great morning of playing. Although my two were fighting a bit and I had to threaten them with the "no santa if your bad" gig.

The kids came home with cute turkeys from school that has written on them what they are thankful for. Bryce was very upset that his teacher only wrote cars and not color changing cars! They also brought home the Dec. newsletter and if Jocelyn remembers, they learned a new joke today in class.

All is well, It's just noon and I'm hoping for some nice play time with the kiddos and then some quiet time (Jocelyn and Bryce are super into these bookmarks!) They won't let me help so we are getting some very interesting looking pilgrims and indians!

Tuesday

Breakfast: pumpkin pancakes, banana, milk
Lunch: Tristan had pb and marsh, Lilly had grilled cheese, yogurt, apples/peaches, milk

Lilly didn't eat much for breakfast but ate everything at lunch. She drank almost all of her milk too! Tristan ate well for both meals. Jocelyn had her yogurt drink and I'm sure she'll finish her's later.

Yucky rainy day! We took Bryce to school then stopped by Kohl's and Target (quickly) I had to spend my $10 kohl's cash (will send home your coupon today!) and had a prescription to pick up at Target. The kids were great and I let them look around and play in the toy isle! They love that Big Foot guy (Lilly isn't scared of him anymore) Oh and we found out today that Stinky the trash truck also farts!

We came home and played, I kept asking if they wanted to read, color, do a craft (all answers were no!) They just weren't in the mood for structure.

Jocelyn joined us and her momma dropped off some Thanksgiving crafts (the sticker turkeys were a hit!) Lilly and Tristan really got into putting them together (Landon not so much)

Picked up Bryce, ate some lunch, and now I'm getting ready to put Lilly to bed and the big kids are up playing choo choo's!

Oh Lilly keeps asking "where mommy?"

Friday

Jocelyn ate all of her cereal this morning (finished it up in the car on the way to school) The kids played well this morning.

I picked up 2 Indians from pre-school today (haha!) Very cute and wait until you see the detail of how they decorated their vests and headbands. I'm guessing it was a big craft day today!

Jocelyn is still working on her lunch (The kids are playing choo choo's for another 10 minutes and then my 2 boys are off to bed!) Jocelyn said she can't wait for rest time today!!! I'm like, oh yeah, I can use some rest time too!)

Thursday

The Vogt kiddos ate great today! Wheat waffles with nuttela and bananas for breakfast.

Lunch: Lilly and Landon had home made mac n cheese, applesauce and yogurt, Tristan had pb and white stuff, yogurt and pears (since he was the birthday boy I let him pick)

Great day! We took Bryce to school then off to Giant for a mini trip (I was out of milk again!) In and out in 40 minutes and the kids were great (they weren't busy so I let Landon and Tristan unload my cart one item at a time) They loved it, although my bread has seen better days :-) They were chucking the things up on the belt (the check out lady was super nice and patient)

Then we came home and played outside for a good hour and half. It's so beautiful outside! We played with our new power wheels toy (I think Landon is scared of it Daddy!) Lilly loved it but Aunt Ash's back didn't :-(

We racked and jumped in leaves, swung, ran around!

Then it was time to pick up Bryce (but we had to drop him off for a play date at the neighbors which Tristan and Landon weren't too happy about) However the word "cupcake" quickly got them to quiet.

We came home, ate some lunch, sang happy birthday and had cupcakes (well the boys had the frosting (Lilly woofed the entire thing!)

Jocelyn and Bryce will be up here around 3 to play if anyone is awake by then!

I told Tristan to take a good nap for mommy and daddy so he's ready to celebrate tonight!

Great day! Jocelyn and Bryce played all morning long! She ate a great breakfast and I didn't notice any coughing at all today (so far!)

School went good and Jocelyn came home with a "talking stick" She looked really sleepy on the way home and I asked her if she's tired, she replied "I'm exhausted!" haha

We came home and ate some lunch (she ate her entire apple but has the rest to finish this afternoon. She is now playing with my basket of cat toys (we have a ton!) The boys are being crazy rowdy!!! I was going to let Bryce stay up but now I'm not sure (plus Brandon wants to have him over tomorrow for a few hours for a playdate during nap time).

Tuesday

The Vogt kiddos ate very well today (pancakes and banana for breakfast, grilled cheese, yogurt, and pears for lunch) WE also had a special cookie treat today!

Well Lilly got her first boo boo at Aunt Ash's today :-( We were down in the basement playing and I was changing Landon's diaper (she climbed up the 2 stairs to the landing and then decided to try to get down and landed right on her face!!!) At first it didn't look bad but then her nose started bleeding. She only cried for a little and no bruises so far (but under her nose she has major rug burn (I'm putting aquafore on it to keep it moist). I feel so terrible (especially because I know you said your kids have pics coming up, I'm hoping Lilly's aren't this week!)

Other than the accident, everything went well otherwise this morning. We took Bryce to school and then played outside all morning (it's so nice out!) the boys loved playing in the leaves (Lilly not so much, in fact she freaked out when I put her in them!) The boys were loving the grasshoppers today (see pic of them looking for them) They were trying to catch them (Landon ended up catching a spider instead and came to show me and I screamed!) YUCK!

We picked up Bryce and had lunch. Wow those cookies were a hit (especially with Lilly!!!) YUM!

I'm just getting ready to put Lilly to bed, the big kids are upstairs making a super track.

So so so so so sorry about her fall!!! Those 2 steps down there are tricky to monitor at all times!

Monday

Ian ate a good breakfast of whole wheat banana muffins and banana with milk. Then he woofed his lunch of mac n cheese, yogurt (wow he loves that stuff), pears, and pb crackers, and milk.

I had the full body bib on him and somehow he still got stuff all over his shirt (sorry)

It was a great and fun morning! We took Bryce to school and everyone had fun in the car ride! We came home and played down in the basement. We watched some Elmo (Ian is really liking him these days!) Landon was yelling out the letters that came on the screen and Ian was repeating him.

Baby Reid did great and played, played, played. He was like I call "easy peasy!" He took a great morning nap and didn't fuss a bit! He ate 5 oz of his formula and had 1 poopy diaper.

Ian had a huge (stinky) diaper! Wow, that must have cleared out his belly so he could fill it up!

We sang songs, listened to music (Ian's fav was wheels on the bus), read lots of books, and played, played played! Ian was into copying everything Landon was doing. Landon was into filling up at toy school bus with cars and riding it around, so Ian found the other school bus and did the same (so cute!)

Lunch went great, then we played for a bit more and then off to bed! Ian fell right to sleep at 12:45

Thursday

Breakfast: choc chip pancakes, banana, and milk (Vogt's ate great! Lilly loves her bananas now!)

Lunch: grilled cheese on fiber 1 bread, yogurt drinks (Lilly just had yogurt), grapes, halloween cookies for treats. Everyone ate great again, and Lilly LOVES Velveeta cheese!!! she kept saying "more pizza" even though it was a sandwich.

Lazy, yucky weather morning! We just hung out and played inside all day. We watched sesame street, then went downstairs and played. We played "boat" Tristan's favorite and pretended to fish, be attacked by sharks, cook, rock the boat in a storm all on the couch (our boat). We also then talked about water and what needs water to grow (people, plants, and animals) We did a worksheet about it and then painted with water (that was funny to watch lilly, she kept trying to drink her cup of water.)

We read some books, sang songs, listened to music and then it was time to pick up Bryce.

Tristan and Bryce are up in Bryce's room playing while Landon and Lilly are playing in the playroom. It's soon nap time (yeah) hoping for 4 good nappers today!

Oh Lilly counts, 1,2,3,4,5, 8, 9,10 (every single time!!!) she skips 6 and 7 it's so cute!!!!

Oh and she did well walking by herself with your walker downstairs!!! But then she did fall and then chickened out and only would walk with me!

Wed

Sorry this is kind of late!!! Landon and I were running around all morning while the big kids were at school so when we got home I had a gazillion things to do and put away!

Jocelyn ate a good breakfast! So far for lunch she has eaten half her mac n cheese and her yogurt drink.

Both my kiddos were up early this morning and the 3 played very well until school time. Jocelyn and Bryce were putting on a magic show and when Bryce asked Jocelyn, "how did you do that" Jocelyn replied, "A musician never reveals her secrets!" hahahahaha, I was laughing so hard to myself because she said it so seriously!

School went well, didn't get too much out of what they did today other than hot potato game. The kids ate lunch and then went upstairs and played for a long while (nicely too!) Bryce is in a great mood again today so I'm going to let him stay up with Jocelyn today (maybe he's finally getting to the point of functioning without a nap!!!)

Jocelyn said her show n tell went great! Landon is down for a nap and J and B are downstairs with me playing!

Tuesday

Breakfast: everyone ate really great! choc chop whole grain muffins, banana, and milk (Lilly ate an entire banana the trick is she likes to have it whole!!!)

Lunch: Lilly had eggs and cheese with yogurt and pineapple, Tristan had pb and marsh, yogurt drink, pineapple, milk. Jocelyn ate her turkey and yogurt drink. They all ate pretty well so I had them sample a pumpkin cupcake (they were a hit especially with the Vogt's!!!) Don't worry mommies and daddies you'll get a sample too!!!

Great morning! The kids played well, we went outside for a bit (it was chilly but in the sun it didn't feel too bad! Lilly is really on the go and wants to be up and about! She's been calling for "Kyle" all morning! haha

We talked about November today and what November looks like and what happens in November. We practiced (as you can see in the pics) having Lilly hold up 2 fingers and Tristan 3) We raked leaves and jumped in them (we need some more leaves!!!) we sang and counted (Lilly told me after 12 is 13!!) I was impressed!

Oh only thing odd was Tristan and Lilly both didn't drink much at all today??? Tristan still has his glass of milk from the am. That's strange for him.
