Monday

wow super busy day today!!! It's 2pm and I just got the boys all down for naps. Ian looked exhausted. Bryce and Landon are playing and at this point I'm kind of hoping for them not napping and just staying up there until 4 or so.

Well we took Bryce to school then came home for a bit. Ian and Landon were in strange moods in that they didn't want to play they just wanted to chase the cats around and destroy the house (aka get and dump all toys out) Oh well, I know my boys do this now and then too.

We picked up Bryce early from school and the kids ate lunch in the car (Ian loved that!) he kept saying, I eat my dinner in car! The big boys got their flu shots while Ian watched CARS 2 in the car with me and Kobe. Then we left and went to my sister's house to pick up my cell phone. Well Tristan and Lilly begged for the kids to come inside so I gave in. They played inside and outside for a good long while. Slid on the slide, and Ian loved playing at a new place with new toys and was just in love with Lilly!

My mom gave me a coupon for JCPenny's that's good for today only. I decided to attempt to take the 4 boys in really quick for a Christmas jammies for Kobe. Since I knew right where the baby clothes are, I took that entrance. Put Ian and Kobe in the stroller and my 2 walked. All went well and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Gee whiz I got a few comments and questions if all the boys were mine. haha I'm not that crazy!!! heehee

Came home and off to bed them went! Well at least in their bedrooms. Ian was so ready to have some quiet time! Busy but great day!

wednesday

No pictures, I have a bazillion from the weekend adventures that I'm trying to upload now.

Great morning! Landon and Ian were so good and played so well. I tried to play with them but could clearly see I was not needed (Kyle you know how this is with Bryce and Landon at times) They were so into playing cars (I think they were acting out the movie) They played in Bryce's room all morning so I cleaned the upstairs bathrooms while they played since they didn't want me interrupting them. It's crazy how in just a few weeks I feel like Ian has really grown up to big boy status! He fits right in at our house!

We also went to the township building to pick up a library book. It was so funny because we were there 2 weeks ago and the lady gave them each a lollypop that time. As soon as I pulled up Ian and Landon yelled "pop pop!" Good thing she was stocked. That lady loves them. We stayed for 15 minutes so she could read them a story before leaving.

Ian went right down for a nap. My big boys are still up and playing in their rooms.

I was just thinking the other day when I should transition Ian to a sleeping bag??? Hmmm, I just moved Lilly about 2 months ago so I might wait a little longer or until Ian shows an interest in getting out. I'm just scared he'll get into things in my room (not that I care, but I don't want him getting into danger like trying to climb the cat tree) maybe napping in the basement might work better??? Oh well we'll decide when that time comes.

Wednesday

First off: Ian needs diapers, I think I forgot to tell you that last week, don't worry Kobe wears 4's at night time.

Great day. Ian and Landon were inseparable and BFF's. Landon kept coming up to me saying, Mommy, Ian my best friend! The kept hugging it was so cute!

Ummm adorable hat! Is it from Kohl's?? I saw them there over the weekend and now I think I have to go get 3 of them for the boys! He was growling and everything, Bryce and Landon thought it was funny. The boys all ran around outside this morning. my goal was for them to stay on the driveway however that didn't happen and Ian's pants were soaked. Ian had 2 huge poops today too and was begging to sleep all morning, held him off until 12:30 though.

Great day, lots of playing and fun times!

Thursday

I give up! I don't think Landon is napping again today and boy does he need it! I've been up there a bazillion times to tell him to nap, and it's not working. Oh well we shall see.

The morning went pretty good other than Landon waking up to tantrum after tantrum. Then continuing when we got home from school. The other kids had a good morning. I think Bryce is actually sleeping, well maybe I'll have to go up and peek in.

The little boys learned about fire safety today. Ask Tristan what to do if he catches fire and he will proudly show you how to stop, drop, and roll. Mrs. B said that he showed the entire class what to do, got up in front and demonstrated it! haha Lilly and kobe had a good morning with me. Oh guess what?! There was a table of FREE books at preschool today. I let everyone pick one out. Guess what Miss Lilly is bringing home for her mommy and daddy to read to her tonight :-) Yep a BARNEY book, she is so excited! I read it to her already 3 times. Tristan picked out a Spongebob Halloween book (don't worry it's not bad, well maybe the ending, but I'll let it up to you) if you don't want it, Bryce will surely take it (he was upset he didn't get a book)

Everyone ate well today and I got Miss Thang to drink her apple cider at lunch today. Your bread was so yummy too!

Wed

This morning was excellent (total opposite of Monday!) So Landon and Ian were BFF's today. Seriously I have never seen them so into playing. They didn't even want me around. AFter we got home from Bryce's preschool drop off, Landon and Ian asked to go upstairs to play in Landon's room. Well then they told me they wanted it to be spooky in there and wanted the lights off and the door closed and kicked me out! Don't worry I stayed upstairs and peeked in every 15 minutes, since they didn't want anything to do with me I cleaned the upstairs bathrooms and put Kobe down for his nap. Everytime I peeked in they were totally into playing (talking make believe) They had flashlights out and were playing cars and trains in the dark, it was so cute. Then to top off the cuteness I caught Landon reading a CARS book to Ian on his bed (both laying on their bellies) in the dark with flashlights. So I guess they really do love each other like Brothers (that's exactly how Bryce and Landon work, the are Best friends one minute then the next are attacking each other)

On a side note: Ian had a huge poop today (and is now out of diapers) He has shared his cars with Landon too so nicely. Are you missing Mator at home? If yes, then the one in his bed it his.

Kobe is on the move! We totally babyproofed the playroom today and I moved all big boy toys down stairs and all baby toys upstairs. He's having a blast in there today, I forgot we had a lot of the toys.

All down for naps, and I told Landon if he gets out of his room then I'm locking it from the inside, he was not happy when I showed him the lock so hopefully he'll stay in and actually nap, Bryce says he's not napping.

Tuesday

It was a good morning (well except for finding a huge ulcer on the inside of Kobe's mouth..... that caught me off guard but that's a different story!)

The boys played this morning down stairs with choo choo's, Lilly and Kobe hung out up in the playroom. WE then headed off to school and then Kobe, Lilly and I made a quick trip to Target to buy some christmas presents for mom.

Oh!! So not only will you get 10 bucks back from the boys leapster games, but Kobe's piano table is on sale too this week for I think $34.99? I know it was at least $5 cheaper than what you bought it for last week. So now your up to $15 back!

The trip went fast and well, back home again to put Kobe down for a nap and Miss LIlly and I played for an hour inside until it was time to head back to school

Picked up the boys and had lunch in the van/outside and watched a video. Headed home and the boys all ran around outside for an hour (Lilly played out too) It's beautiful outside.

The vogt's ate well for breakfast, not so well for lunch , in fact no one did. So pb sandwhiches are going to be for snack today. Landon has not eaten anything today.

Monday

So sorry that Landon blew your ear drums out this morning Mandy! What can I say, he loves his green blankie! He quieted down after you left and used Bryce's blankie as a back up. I am proud to say all blankies are washed and dried and in their beds and all is well in the world again!

Good morning, Beautiful weather. Had an incident this morning. Oh I hope you still keep bringing Ian! After we got back from dropping Bryce off at school I was putting Kobe down for a nap upstairs and Landon and Ian were playing choo choo's downstairs. I heard crying and knew A. It was Ian B. It had to be bad if it was Ian because he never cries. Ran down and discovered my Landon attacked your Ian! Through tears and landon screaming "I'm so sorry" I'm so sorry I gathered that Ian was wrecking Landon's choo choo tracks and therefore Landon attacked. obviously Landon got a major time out and again apologized. I feel so terrible. It looked a lot worse right when it happened, he had red marks on his head, arm, and neck and a few scratches. Now the redness is all gone so I'm thinking it was from him getting upset? I put some first aid cream on the scratches. As soon as I kissed them, Ian said "Ian all better" and up he went to play. So again I am so sorry and hope it never happens again!

The rest of the day went well, after the attack, I took the boys outside for the rest of the morning to swing and run around. They had a blast. We ate lunch and then picked up Bryce and back outside they ran around. Finally down for naps around 1:30 (the boys helped me to wrap Tristan and LIlly's birthday presents before nap and that took more time than I thought) Ian kept asking about them and where they were.

Ian has been saying the cutest things today. "Ashy, the sun is out and Ian needs his gwasses" I go play at Ashy's house"

We sang lots of songs today and did major bubble blowing and bike riding too!

Thursday

What a yucky day today! The weather that is. The kids had a good morning, they were a bit rowdy this morning. The big boys played up in Bryce's room until school time. Drop off went smoothly. Lilly and I hung out in the play room. I worked on organizing the craft for the kids' Halloween party and she colored, did stickers and watched barney and sang.

We headed back into school with lunch and ate inside. This went very well and Landon finally had no melt downs after school. I had Mrs. Bailey photocopy all their halloween songs and we practiced them (they were so proud to share them with me) I will have Kyle photocopy you the sheet so you can practice with Tristan at home too. We practiced at lunch and before nap time today. They learned about pumpkins today and did a pumpkin craft.

I checked out the sign up sheet. There is no one but me signed up for prizes. Alicia do you mind buying some??? Good ideas would be the mini play doughs (for Halloween) or glow sticks?? I have pin wheels, stickers, tatoos, and chinese yo yos. If you don't feel like looking, I would be happy to pick them up for you. I've seen the play dough at Giant and Target, I can go to the $1 store for glow sticks. Or actually I am wanting to go to the Christmas Tree shops tomorrow morning and I bet they'll have some cheap cool stuff (they always have holiday tablets in like 12 packs). let me know!

Lilly was in a good mood today, well until 12:15 and then melt down city and off to bed she went. All down for quiet time. I told Bryce and Tristan they can watch Space Buddies at 2:30 today.

Tuesday

Today has been a very good day. We are in a good routine with preschool and our lunch now. Last night I read through Landon's newsletter and totally forgot about going hunting for nature items for his collage today. I saw that Tristan had nothing too so we went outside this morning before heading off to school. We found lots of items, leaves, flowers, mulch, rocks, straw, etc. Their collages are quite pretty.

Landon did the whole "I don't want to go to school" thing this morning, but when it came time to go he was ready and happy, he ran right in screaming, "Bye mommy!" They had a good day, and no melt downs so far afterward. I only got to glimpse at the sign up sheet really fast, I'll look again on Thursday, snack items are all taken, there are still spots open for prizes and candy. I'll have to see if someone signed up yet for face paint.

Lilly had a better day today, her and Landon were at each other this morning and she had her moment in the car but much better than last week.

We played outside for a good bit of the morning while Kobe napped, the kids all ate in the car for lunch so back out they went when we got home (might as well live it up today before all the rain comes tomorrow and Thursday). The boys are chasing and sweating like crazy, Lilly is playing t-ball and riding in her car

monday

Fun fun fun fun and more fun! We played until 2 today!! Super late naps and they hit the pillows hard today!

We ran around outside for a long time, then did some more halloween painting masks, played inside. The kids had a blast and were in and out of the house. Everyone got along well, no major melt downs at all and the weather was very nice. Ian loved the babies and loved pointing out all their nuks. He ate great too!

Thursday

It's beautiful outside, the boys are playing out in the yard as I type! Lilly and Kobe are hanging out with me.

School went well (even for Landon who didn't want to go) We ate lunch outside/in the car and it went very smooth.

Awww, I hear Kobe cracking up laughing at Lilly right now.

Lilly is now in good spirits but wow was she being a diva this morning! I swear her and Landon are the same person! I had a few items to pick up at the grocery store (quick stop) and she was fussing about anything and everything. She is seriously a different person now that she had lunch.

Oh gotta go, I hear Lilly screaming because Kobe's got her hair (again!)

Wed

Sorry so late! I have pics but my computer is taking forever to upload them since I took a bunch over the weekend.

We spent the morning keeping busy. We had breakfast, then took Bryce to school, then played choo choo's down in the basement, did a Halloween mask craft and painted, then outside to run around and swing, back in for lunch, then off to pick up Bryce, and home for a nap.

It was nice to finally get outside with the boys. Landon was in a bad mood this morning but finally started to cooperate by the late morning. Ian was in good spirits and ate a very good lunch and breakfast. He had a cereal bar and milk for breakfast, and grilled cheese, apples, and pb crackers with juice for lunch.

Ian and Landon were down for naps by noon. Ian was super excited to see his toys in his bed again!

Tuesday

It's been a good day, the sun actually came out for a few minutes too! I'm hoping by Thursday I can take Lilly outside for a bit (it's been forever!)

Miss Lilly was having a rough morning. She was fussing and throwing fits about everything and anything. I thought she would enjoy painting a halloween mask but even that ended with her in tears. I finally gave up and popped Barney in and got lunch ready. She went right to bed when we got home from preschool. I hope she sleeps these grumpies off!

The boys seemed to have a good day at school. Everyone had clean faces and shirts for pictures. Landon had a melt down after school again (he's is just so exhausted afterward) I thought he would go right to sleep for nap but I still hear him up there playing. Bryce says he's not going to nap either, even though I told him he has soccer. I'm still hoping he passes out on the floor.

Nothing much else, Kobe got a 3rd tooth today, I'm off to clean my nasty house and make letters for parents about the boys Halloween party.

Monday

Sorry this is so late, I'm going through Bryce's closet and new fall clothes and lets just say it isn't a fun time! Boys do not like trying on clothes that's for sure.

We had a great morning. Ian ate very well for both meals, muffins and waffles with milk for breakfast and grilled cheese, grapes, pb crackers, yogurt, and juice for lunch.

Landon and Ian were besties this morning and just went to town playing cars and choo choos. We even went through Landon's wardrobe while they played legos up in his room. He is in a great mood and no fights of picking from either of them (wish I could say they same for Bryce and Landon)

Bryce had his field trip, we picked him up and came home and had lunch. I could tell Ian and Landon were both sleepy. Off to bed they went. Ian slept with his toys from home (he was so excited to sleep with his big truck!)

Thursday

This morning went well. Everyone ate a good breakfast and off we went to school. Landon did have his moment of saying "No school mommy, i don't like it, I stay with you and Kobe" but he went with no tears.

Lilly and I hung out for a bit and made lunch to take to preschool and colored and did some stickers. We went back to school and ate (went much better this time around) Then the boys played cars while we waited for Bryce. Everyone ate good.

Back home and Landon went right down for a nap, he looked exhausted however an hour later and he's still up playing, but I think he just needs to unwind after school by himself. Everyone else down for naps too!

Wednesday

Super fun and crazy morning with lots and lots of boys! We played all morning (inside due to the weather). Before Oliver and Elliot came over I did flashcards of the alphabet and our number farm animal book with Ian and Landon. For some reason today Landon got so jealous when I did one on one time with Ian (weird) . Landon woke up early today and I could tell he was "off" a bit, throwing tantrums more than usual. We played trains and cars. Then Elliot joined in and wowza were Ian and Landon excited to have him over! They all looked like a bunch of kids with attention problems. They would play in one room for a few minutes then off to another, and of course Landon had to show him his room (Ian said, come on I show you Ian's room too!) haha

We had lunch (everyone ate great) and then played some more. Everyone was exhausted by the time the boys left, including myself. All up to bed at 12:30!

Monday

Very nice and relaxing day. Ian ate great, 3 muffins and milk for lunch and grilled cheese, pb crackers, applesauce and juice. He must be growing.

We played all morning. Took Bryce to school, then Ian and Landon ran down to the basement to play choo choo's while I got Kobe to take a nap. We then went outside for a good hour and half and swang, sang song (that was so cute!), and cars. The boys demanded I sang Old McDonald, ABC's, and twinkle little star.

Then we came in and washed up and got lunch, then off to pick up Bryce. By 11:45 Ian was begging to go to bed so I gave in and put him up to sleep, he looked exhausted!

The big boys are now playing choo choo's until nap time and Kobe just finished eating his lunch.

Kyle I made appts for flu shots for the boys, the only opening they had was Monday I think Oct 17th for 8:15pm and 8:30pm

Wednesday

no pics today, sorry, camera is packed for beach!

Good morning. We took Bryce to school then I had a few things to pick up before vacation and took the 3 boys to target. That was too fun watching them sit in the HUGE delux carts. Ian and Landon were singing songs, belting out, Old McDonald, ABC's, Twinkle twinkle. It was a success and everyone got a lollypop!

Then back home to play outside and then inside. Ian and Landon played great together. I love how Ian talks in 3rd person "Ian wants to play" "Ian wants to eat dinner" "Ian likes Landon" "Ian go to the store with Ashy" heehee

Back to pick up Bryce. Bryce had a total melt down after school (school overload and no nap for 3 days caught up with him) hoping all 4 boys take good afternoon naps today.

Ian had those rain boots on all morning, he's so cute!

first day of school!

Ahhh nap time how I love you! School was a success this morning, even got everyone ready in time for pictures. I wanted to take pics of them walking to class, but there was a bunch of criers at the door where Mrs. Bailey was standing.

Tristan came running out of class shouting, "Look Ashwey, my hand says great because we were great today" Landon came out screaming and snotty because he wanted to take his snack cup home with him. They learned about the color red. Tristan has snack the Tuesday after the beach.

I got to speak with Mrs. B after school because I had a half hour to kill before Bryce's class let out. She said she was very surprised how smooth it went and that her class seems excellent this year. She did mention they are having an afternoon class. So after Landon stopped screaming the 5 of us went out and played in the grassy area with bubbles, scooters, and kicked the soccer ball for 15 minutes, then I put them in the car and popped in a movie and got Bryce. It went pretty smooth, but boy were those 2 three year olds grumps! I think they were just exhausted and hungry from school. They got into many fights (one was physical) while we were waiting for Bryce, Tristan has a new scratch below his eye (as does Landon) So I'm really hoping they nap today, I'll go down in a few minutes and try to get Tristan to sleep instead of play, Landon is playing upstairs too.

Oh Miss Lilly has new bright pink piggies and fingernails (I told her mommy might make her take it off but we'll have some fun doing girl stuff today) She played with Faith this morning down at Faith's house with her mommy and me and Kobe, we also took a walk.

Monday

Ahhh so nice today! We were outside quite a bit this morning. Ian showed off his rain boots and did a bunch of puddle jumping. Then the boys took off on their scooters (love Landon's princess one... huh?) Don't worry not long after I took this pic of Ian I made the boys put helmets on their heads. We also did some coloring inside this morning too, and Ian and Landon got to play (or should I say destroy) Bryce's room while B was at school and I had some laundry to do upstairs. They had a blast. It's so funny to see Landon play with Ian without Bryce because he all the sudden takes on a new role of "big brother" to Ian. He says the same exact things that Bryce says to him when they are playing.

Everyone ate well today, muffins and milk for breakfast, pb sandwiches with cheese crackers, banana, apples and juice for lunch.

Ian looked pooped by nap time which was around 12:45. I had to take off his shirt because he got it wet outside, he has a little rash on his chest (I'm guessing a heat rash) they boys looked hot from playing and it's pretty humid out.

Bryce is up in his room doing his homework.

Landon is being loud in his room (not sure if they'll nap today or not, oh well if not off to bed early for them)

I almost thought Kobe's second tooth is in today. He smiled and I saw two spots of white. Not quite through yet but so close that it looks like it is. He's in a good mood today. Napped well this morning and just went down and is talking to himself now

Thursday

Very good day! Everyone seems in a good mood. We just relaxed today, the boys watched Toy Story 1 while Lilly hung out with me and Kobe. Then we did pumpkin painting and decorating for over an hour. They had a blast. Tristan wasn't too into it for some reason. He kept asking me to paint for him, and I said that it was his pumpkin and was going to be in a contest and it wouldn't be fair if I painted for him. So his isn't fully painted and he didn't want to do glue and decorations either. Lilly painted her pumpkin from top to bottom (same with Landon) I think she took so much time with painting that when it was time for decorating she was over it. So I'll ask Lilly and Tristan either Friday night or next Tues if they want to add anything before I take it into the fair on Thursday. Landon had a glue attack and was gluing anything and everything to his. Bryce isn't finished yet but as you can see went with a CARS theme.

Everyone ate well for breakfast and lunch, and everyone went down for a nap at 1. I'm hoping to follow, I'm so tired since stinka woke me up 2 times last night!
