Thursday

Today has been great, considering the weather stinks and we are stuck inside yet again (will it ever be nice again???)

The kids ate great today! Lilly likes eating her pizza like a big girl check out her picture. She is however currently freaking out because her piece of cheese broke into two and she wants me to put it together.

Um so yet again Kobe amazes me. Starting yesterday he is on a mission to get his giraffes off his bouncy seat. I'm not kidding when I say he sat staring at those things for over an hour last night until he passed out. Today same thing. He hasn't fussed even once (weird for a 9 week old) He sits in his bouncer staring at the giraffes trying to figure out how to grab them then after an hour or so passes out. I feel bad letting him sit but he's so good and I can finally have some time with the big kids.

We colored huge magical horses today. We also had rainbow crayons to use. I had Tristan and Landon practice cutting with scissors and cutting yarn for the horses hair. Tristan wasn't happy though when I wouldn't let him do the glue himself (it was broke and I didn't want a spill). Funny thing was it was all about horses on Elmo's world today.

Then we went downstairs and played up a storm. The boys played basketball, and lilly read books and played with play food. Kobe hung out in his seat in the pack n play and every now and then lilly and landon would go over and talk to him.

Tristan and Landon also played cars for over an hour very well. They lined them up and were taking turns roll playing very cute!

It's a good day (well other than the fact I'm a bit bummed out about my kitty, that and the fact now both boys are carrying around pictures of Max (or Mac as Landon calls him)

The kids have played well. My two boys were a bit crazy but now that Landon is in bed it's calm again. The kids came home with tons of papers. You got 5 envelopes today!!! woohoo

I told Shelli about your collection and she said she wants to see your letter and might do it for Brandon's class. They got 2 field trip forms, an April newsletter and info about their easter party. Is it ok if we skip Wiggly Wed next week??? I only have Jocelyn that day, so I know Bryce and her will play well in the afternoon. With soccer and swimming and t-ball I just think Bryce is going to be exhausted. I think that's the only one in April due to vacation so we can start back in May.

Everyone ate well and now the big kids are having fun making a mess AKA: moon dough! Oh and Yorkshire Terrier was a hit! J called it a Chihuahua before getting out of the car but I told Mrs. Knisely what it was :-)

tuesday

I have waved the white flag and surrendered to potty training (at least for now!) can you say too much with a newborn and babysitting! Sorry hubs but after 2 accidents and Landon holding his butt and screaming while he ran around naked I gave up. I'm getting a little worried now because he still hasn't gone #2 and I think I've made him so worked up that now he's stopped up! No more for now, I'll try again in a few more weeks. It will be so much easier when I don't have Bryce to run to and from preschool in the summer.

Ok the morning went well (except for attempting to potty train Landon) Tristan and Lilly were in great moods, they ate well and played great! We colored, listened to music, sang songs (Lilly had me doing a medley of her favorite songs) of course all morning when I was chasing Landon to try to poop or pee on the potty she would say, "I poop, I pee" I felt bad not letting her try but I was already exhausted from watching l like a hawk and then nursing Kobe. I had big plans to do crafts but no such luck. Hopefully Thursday will go better now that diapers are back in style!

All are down for naps (Tristan is reading books downstairs). I'm off to gather Max's belongings "sniff, sniff" this is going to be sooooooooo hard! Ughhhhh my stomach hurts just thinking about it.

Today has been exhausting, only because I've chosen today to A. potty train Landon and B. find my kitty a new home!!!

The kids have been playing very nicely today. We were a minute late for school because I was feeding Kobe, had Landon on the potty and of course then I left the snack behind and had to turn around. Mrs. Knisely was so nice though and actually there were a bunch of other kids late too. I warned Mrs. K about the stomach bug (she seems as terrified of it as me!) so I'm hoping they clean that room very well this week! She had no idea that kiddos had it.

Landon is wearing big boy pants today! He actually went on the potty for the first time. We shall see if this lasts (or should I say if I last!) I'm exhausted from running to and from the potty all morning.

The kids had fun at school. I have jocelyn's papers paperclipped and there is 1 envelope. Bryce and her are playing now, they just finished cup cake decorating! YUM is all I can say!

Oh and I don't think I'll be making zumba tonight! I think I found a new owner for one of my cats (3 is just too many for us with all these kiddos running around) she's coming over to meet him at 5:30. I might still be able to make it though, we'll see.

Friday

Great day! Jocelyn ate most of her breakfast and lunch. The kids played very well this morning before school. School went good but they didn't talk much about it.

Jocelyn is very excited about her party :-) She is currently running around in a tank, capris and no socks... meanwhile I'm freezing my behind off! haha

Landon is sleeping and the big kids are playing very well. They played choo choos for quite a while and are now upstairs with me asking for a snack, so off I go!

Thursday

Breakfast: whole grain poptart, grapes, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh on wheat, grapes/pineapple, yogurt, juice

Tristan ate really well, Lilly ate well for breakfast but ummmmm not so much for lunch here's what went down:

All were eating lunch, Lilly was demanding cheese again so I took her mommy's advice and refused to give in. Well she ate her yogurt and then began to protest. I firmly told her she needed to eat her sandwich and fruit. Kobe got hungry and I had to feed him in the playroom with the boys (she was out in the kitchen in the highchair), it got very quiet and when I was done feeding Kobe I looked over and Lilly was out cold (sleeping) of course she tour her sandwich apart and when I lifted her head her hair was covered in pb and marshmallow!!! I had to bathe the girl, there was no other choice. She enjoyed the bath but Landon being Landon was a handful and I had to lock him in his room. So I had him acting like a wild animal during the ordeal. Lilly then went to bed.

Landon slept in until 9:45 (I kept Bryce home today, he has a nasty cough but in reality it was more so because Landon was up all night and needed to sleep) Kobe slept in until 9:30. Tristan and Bryce played very well this morning. I think they missed one another over these past months of Bryce being in school. This summer is going to be fun outside playing and getting dirty. We got out Easter decorations and eggs today. Sorry if Tristan is super excited about Easter, Bryce got him revved up! They were hunting eggs all morning, coloring easter pictures, and we read the Easter story a few times too. We listened to music and danced. I wanted to take a pic of Lilly with our bunny ears on but my battery died :-(

Lilly had a good morning too. Counting down the minutes until the boys go to sleep!

tuesday

Ok this was a pretty crazy morning! Holly and Addison left first thing this morning then I discovered that my camera wasn't working because it had rice stuck inside (that was interesting to fix) then I let Landon sleep in until it was time to take Bryce to school because he was partying in his room until late last night. Well now I know why, when I got him up I discovered the monster child hid a blue marker in his room and went to town. All over himself and everything else! His hands and face were totally blue (still is even after scrubbing) and his sheets/books/toys everything blue! So I took my smurf to take Bryce to school and then spent a good hour when we got back with Lilly and Kobe upstairs with me while we cleaned up and plopped Tristan and Landon in the play room for a movie (chicken little) All is good now and surprisingly it all came out but I'm pooped from that escapade!

The rest of the morning, Lilly and Landon colored colored and colored. Tristan played and we read books. The weather isn't looking too good for this week so I don't think we'll be playing outside (boo).

Everyone ate well for both meals, poptarts and banana for breakfast, lunch was pb and j, cheese cubes, grapes, juice and fruit snacks for treat. Lilly did very well today just a bit of a runny nose. She drank all her juice and most of her milk today. At first all she wanted to eat was cheese but after a while she finally ate her grapes and sandwhich.

Tristan has done very well on the potty today too.

I told the boys they could play downstairs for a bit after lunch but it didn't last long, my two were slamming doors and acting crazy so off to nap for everyone by 12:30

Oh and I found a super cute outfit for your therapist that I bought for Kobe (9 month jean shorts with a super cute polo from children's place)

Talked to Shana and she said she's having "signs"

Friday

Happy Wacky Friday to you! The kids loved dressing silly. Jocelyn didn't want to change and is playing outside as I type with her clothes on.

Everyone ate well today. The kids played well before school (Jocelyn's stuffy nose is annoying the heck out of her though) I keep hearing her trying to snuff air out, poor girl)

The kids got their worm presentation today. Oh and guess what they brought home for us.... yes worms in a cup. They got instructions of how to care for their worms too.... YUCK! I'm not a fan of worms.

They are outside now with Kyle playing at your house. He said he'll go down for an hour and then bring them up for Landon to nap and then Bryce and Jocelyn can play outside in our yard.

They are super pumped about swimming in the hot tub tonight. They keep asking when is it time!!!

Can't wait for tonight... All my food for the party is good to go, now off to clean up!

Thursday

Oh happy day! Spent the entire morning outside and it was wonderful! The kids loved it, I loved it, and Kobe in the bjorn loved it!!!

Everyone ate well for breakfast (poptarts, banana, milk)

Lunch was pb and white stuff, yogurts, apples, juice (Lilly would only eat yogurt so I also gave her some cheese, and she drank her juice (I just gave her our juice with veggies in it to save yours)

We got out the swings and the yard toys today and had a blast, the morning flew by and best yet my house isn't a mess (just the yard) Lilly got a work out walking up my hilly yard, she was huffing. Tristan was a baseball player of course and Landon and Lilly got plenty of swing time. Lilly was screaming like crazy with excitement you would have thought she hasn't been on a swing ever! Oh and she's been A-OK today!

Wow I'm pooped! haha, it was a great morning. The kids played well. Jocelyn seemed fine but did mention her belly hurt at one point. I gave her a bucket because you never know with kids, she cracked me up because she looked like she was purposely trying to barf but then gave up. She then gave me the bucket and said her tongue hurt and moved on to another part of the body :-)

Took the kids to school, dropped the other little ones off with my sis and did a grocery shopping like it was my job trip! 4 stores in 1 hour baby and I am so ready for St. Patty's party, dinner at the Keen's and Kyle's bday party!

Picked up the kids and they were crazy! It was leprechaun day. the kids went on a hunt for his pot of gold and brought home some gold coins some were chocolate (their treat for after lunch) J and B told me all the funny things he did, messed up their room, silly stringed things, etc. They are also signed up for WW for next Wednesday! We are finished lunch (J ate well for both meals) and the big kids are hoping to play outside this afternoon while the little ones nap.

Kyle reminder: be home by 2 for Kobe's ultrasound, love ya!

friday

wow what a busy morning! Everyone ate very well today (Jocelyn ate almost everything) The kids played great! We did the doctor's office (Kyle stayed in the car for 30 minutes with the kids while they watched a movie (no complaints) Came home and The Corl's joined us. Wowza was it a noisy house! Everyone had a fun time, the kids ran around like crazy people. It was cute watching Jocelyn talk to herself (does she have an imaginary friend??) Brandon and Bryce got all sweaty running around. Faith and Landon hung out a good bit, and Jocelyn played hide from the boys a lot. To wind everyone down we did painting easter poster crafts and watched toy story 3. My boys were in bed by 1:30 for naps (they weren't happy but boy were they tired) Jocelyn is having some quiet time and enjoying the peaces (she told me it was too loud here today! )

Thursday

Breakfast: Lilly ate with the big kids! Everyone had whole grain poptarts (oh I found out they make strawberry ones at the Weis on N. George so I'll be visiting there soon let me know if you want any), z. bread, banana, milk (all ate well)

Lunch: Lilly had left over mac n cheese (home made), the boys had their usual (with gogurts, which Tristan loves) everyone had veggie/fruit juice and choc yogurt raisins. All ate well

It was a good morning. I outsmarted the 2 and 3 year old and finally figured out that I can put Kobe's bouncy seat and infant seat on the kitchen table so he won't be bothered (it only took me 5 weeks) It's worked great and the baby has finally taken full naps because he isn't getting woken by crazy toddlers! So because he could finally nap well I got to spend some good quality play time with the kids (everyone wins) We played choo choo's, pizza shop (we made the pizza and of course ate it!) we colored, listened to music and sang along, we even got Wendy weather girl out and did the weather! All was good until 10:30 when Kobe woke to eat and then Landon went nutso again!

Then following him Tristan went bonkers (I'm talking just randomly throwing toys around and being destructive) this was so out of the blue. They both got time outs but they so didn't "get it" poor Lilly, at one point the boys ganged up on her and had her cornered and were tormenting her by trying to cover her in blankets and pillows. This of course all was happening while I was nursing. After I was finished feeding Kobe and scolding the 3 year old boys, I fed the little kiddos lunch and after that it was peaceful once again.

We picked up Bryce and came home, the little ones played while Bryce ate then all off to bed (and I hope they nap!)

Tristan said today when I asked who threw crayons all over the place?? He said Lilly. Then because Lilly was sleeping for nap already I went to clean them up and he said, "but Ashwy that isn't your job, it's me and Landon's job because we made the mess" Ooopps he told on himself!!!

Lilly was a very good little girl today!

Tuesday

Breakfast: banana bread, bananas, milk (all ate great, thanks aunt seish!)

Lunch: Lilly had spagettios and a bowl of yogurt with strawberries cut up, The boys had pb and white stuff, go-gurts, strawberries, veggie/fruit juice and chocolate yogurt raisens for all!

The kids LOVED the chocolate yogurt raisins (kept calling them m and m's (and Tristan yelled at me when I told him they are raisins) he said "no Ashwy they are not! I almost had a heart attach when Landon actually ate them too!

Oh it was a crazy morning! I know I'm dramatic but seriously Landon cried for 2 hours straight. From 9-11!! For some weird reason everything I wanted to try to do with the boys (tristan and Landon) they didn't want to do. We tried painting rainbows (I was going to teach them about March and St. Patty's day and rainbows and leprochans) well Lilly was the only one who wanted to paint!! She painted for an hour, the other 2 just couldn't play nice or participate. Tristan wasn't nearly as crazy as Landon but what in the world!? Of course then all the sudden when 11 o clock hit and it was time to make lunch/pick up bryce and naps were close by... that's when they decided to finally play!! KIDS!

Pickup, lunch, and naps went smoothly. Everyone will be up by 3:30 so they can play (fingers crossed) until gammy comes.

Tristan finally pooped on the potty before nap time!! woohoo. All are in beds (even baby is napping)

Oh I won't be at mom to mom tonight :-( I have no voice and Kobe caught a cold (gee I wonder who from, maybe a 3 year old that won't leave him alone!) We'll be going to the mall for a little walk to get away from the house and let daddy spend some quality time with the big boys (I didn't want to take him to mom to mom and expose him to more germy ladies when he's already sick)
