tuesday

it's been a good morning! Lilly didn't eat much for breakfast or lunch today, I'm letting her graze. Tristan ate well at both meals. Same old meals today. I'm also trying to get "girlfriend" to drink but not having too much luck.

We played inside until around 9:30 then were outside the rest of the morning until 11. I had everyone wearing sun hats and put a little lotion on arms and legs. You might want to bring some lotion for the summer next week or so. I still need to get some sensitive lotion for Landon (his face broke out yesterday when I put on kid's banana boat). Lilly seems in a good mood, doesn't feel hot to me. She isn't playing as much as usual though. Tristan and Landon had a great time in the sandbox, unfortunately water got in and they were a mess (well actually just landon) so I filled up a bucket of warm water with soap and had them rinse off, well Miss Lilly joined in and Lilly and Landon were soaked. They are now inside in their diapers watching tv until it's time to pick up Bryce (good thing too because it's hot in my house!)

Monday

Wow did we have fun today, but boy did we get messy and wet! Ian hasn't eaten too great today, a little of this and that. He had half of his banana bread and milk for breakfast, and a few bites of pb and J (on wheat fish shaped bread), some yogurt, juice and cheese curls (he likes those of course!)

I'm guessing he isn't hungry because perhaps he hasn't gone #2 today at all??? We hung out this morning in the playroom and read some books and played cars. I got a phone call from the neighbor at 9:30 (I watch her little girl Wed and Fridays) inviting us to play outside. Jocelyn was washing her barbie jeep and Ian and Landon loved playing in the puddles. We also blew bubbles, colored with side walk chalk, played in the sandbox, swung and just had so much fun! The boys were a wreck afterward though and Landon and Ian are sleeping in clean diapers. Their clothes are outside drying off. I put sunscreen on them and had sun hats too! It feels like summer. We came home at noon because the boys looked exhausted. Sure enough they passed out as soon as their heads hit the bed!

thursday

It's been a good morning. We played outside for almost 2 hours! It was a bit windy but not too bad in the sun. Lilly played on the swing until she started getting sleepy then her and Landon hung out in the sandbox (boy did she get sandy!) I have her pants and coat in my washing machine as I type. Landon and Bryce were also filthy by they time it was time to come in. Tristan wasn't too bad because of course he played t-ball the entire time. I'm hoping all the fresh air = long naps today.

Everyone ate well for both meals. They loved your bread seish! Lilly ate a ton at lunch, mac n cheese, strawberries, yogurt, juice and everyone but Landon got 2 pieces of candy for treat.

Lilly keeps telling me she's cold and ask her to say Hosanna (we read the Easter story today too) it's so cute!

Everyone is down for naps now except Tristan and Landon. Tristan is cleaning up his mess from Tuesday when I wasn't feeling well. Gammy got him from downstairs and I didn't get to see his disaster. He had a fun time piling books on his couch and ripping all the paper off crayons (oh my!) Landon is still eating.

Tuesday

Well what a yucky day and to top it off I have my first boob infection. Ughh and of course they haven't filled my prescription yet, thank goodness for motrin. Seish I'm skipping mom to mom tonight (you are right I feel like a truck hit me and my boob feels like its going to fall off!) Must be because Mr. Kobe is sleeping longer at night and I read that breast feeding moms shouldn't sleep on their bellies (as it can cause this) well guess how I sleep??

So the kids have been great for me today thank goodness. Landon is 95% better and they've played all morning while I laid around with Kobe. I have him attached to my infected boob basically all day!

Lilly's poo is going to be bad when all those strawberries she ate at lunch get digested (she kept asking for more and more and more) Everyone ate well!

Well I'm off to put the baby on the boob again!

Monday

It's been a great morning!!! Mandy you are so lucky to have such an easy going boy!! I don't think Ian has cried/whined/threw a fit not even so much as to make a sad face. When you left he waved and said "bye bye mommy" no tears I was very surprised since it's been a while since he's been here last. Landon and Ian have played very well all morning. They played cars, chased each other around the house. Oh my then we went outside and I forgot how an almost 2 year old can get dirty in like 2 minutes! Ian ran right for the sand box and before I knew it he was throwing it up in the air (landing all over him) like it was confetti. Then he slid down the slides and got himself soaking wet. haha, he was quite the sight. Needless to say he's in the extra outfit you brought for him. He had a blast though

Oh the pics are of Ian and Landon waving their Palms for Palm Sunday. We talked about the Easter story and how the week before Easter Jesus rode on a donkey and everyone waved palms and said "Hosanna" Oh it was too cute to hear them say that word, ask Ian to say it tonight, he says A-ha-a!!!

Ian ate well today, he ate almost his entire beagle for breakfast and lunch was mac n cheese, grapes, and pb crackers (just a few bites of mac n cheese left)

We've washed hands a bunch of times today (I'm hoping he doesn't get Landon's cold!)

The boys are watching a Barney movie now as I type and then we'll be off to naps at 1:00 today!

Thursday

So sorry if there aren't many pics up over the next few weeks. With the nice weather it's going to be tough to care for all the kids, take them outside, and cart around a 2 month old. Mr. Kobe has decided he doesn't want to nap for long periods in the mornings and wants held. So pics are a bonus these days!

The kids are doing terrific today! We've been outside most of the morning and we still are (I'm typing on the patio, while the kids are eating at their tiny picnic table.

They all ate very well (we had pancakes for breakfast!!! woohhooo!)

Tristan and Landon are really into playing cars in the sandbox today, Lilly of course wants to swing the day away, and Kobe is in the carrier.

Lilly was a sleepy girl this morning and did fall asleep in the car to pick up bryce, hoping she still naps today.

Tuesday

Yucky sleepy day! At least the kids had yesterday to play outside! The kids have been very good this morning. Playing well. We haven't done much (I got no sleep last night so I'm running on empty) We've been just snuggling, reading books, and playing with toys.

Kiddos are eating lunch now (very well) and had good breakfasts! I love how Lilly calls poptarts "top parts!" Ashy I want a top part!!!

We will be off to pick up bryce soon! Then naps all around!

thursday

it's been a good morning! Everyone is playing well today and getting along. Kobe slept from 8-5 and I feel like a new person. WE spent the morning playing in the castle downstairs (Landon's favorite place to play cars these days). We read books in there, sang songs, and played cars. Lilly has been cracking me up today. She has said funny things that copy Tristan like, I'm sick.

She was playing with the baby doll downstairs so cutely today too.

Landon has his appetite back finally. He ate a whole turkey and cheese sandwhich. Lilly put an order in for a cheese sandwhich so I made her grilled cheese.

Kobe had a grand time playing with the kids today too. Because he slept in until 8 this morning he was wide eyed and oh so happy and stayed up for 2 hours! When I was feeding him Lilly was sitting beside me and he was staring at her smiling. He was also cooing up a storm during story time and Landon thought that was a riot!

Tristan had a HUGE #2 this morning in the potty (I don't even know how his insides could hold so much!)

It's been a good morning.

The kids played well today. J and B played cars all morning down stairs. Then after school they all went outside and played for a while until J got freaked out by a spider. I'm talking she ran inside and stripped all her clothes off! We are back inside playing cars again. Everyone ate well too!

Jocelyn is using very good manners today!
