Tuesday

Good morning! The kids are all resting now and I told them if they are good we'll go outside at 3:30! I'm hoping the babies stay asleep so I can just bring out the monitors, now I probably jinxed myself!

All was well today. Every one played well today. Miss Lilly and I talked about rainbows and did some crafts and went over colors again.

School went well for the big boys. I got the Vogt's 2 registration packets for next year. Registration time already! Mrs. B said to only pay for 1 registration fee! And your monthly tuition will be 10 percent off! Rates went up but I'm not sure how much I still have yet to read the form!

Have a fun trip Mr. Zack we'll miss you!!!

Oh and I gave Mr. Zack some pasta added with his lunch today, he ate well!

Monday

Well it was a morning full of wee ones and lots of cars/trains/ and play time. Miss Jenny brought Reid and Mila over to play so we had tons of things to do. The kids were very good, Landon was having some issues with sharing early this morning but seems to have straightened out as the morning moved along.

We talked about friendship and who are friends are today and then they made a little craft/page of who their best friend is. They colored and did sticker art. We then had a snack and sang and listened to Elmo songs.

We picked up Bryce and then it was lunch time, everyone ate very well today. Elliotte had milk, pb sandwhich, yogurt, grapes and gummies for a treat.

I think everyone including myself has a runny nose today!

Friday

Awesome morning! We played in the playroom for early morning (the kids LOVED the ball pit!) The game of the morning was what toys can we put in the pit?! Then we talked about rainbows today and what makes a rainbow and what colors we see in a rainbow. We colored rainbows, read the book "What makes a Rainbow" and then did a cool rainbow craft. Elliott was great at peeling and sticking stickers on.

We also did alphabet flash cards and even the wee ones enjoyed carrying the cards around.

We got to take a special "field trip" today to the pet store. Mr. Kyle stayed home with Kobe and Oliver while Landon and Oliver went with me. We saw kitties, puppies, fish, snakes, hampsters, crabs, fish, and frogs. They were so well behaved and it was a good mini trip.

Came home and had some lunch (Baldwin boys ate well!) Elliott had a pb sandwich, with mac n cheese, pineapple, and yogurt.

The kids are playing now and we'll be down for naps by 1!

Thursday

Good day and good times. Morning went by fast. The big boys played cars monopoly and Lilly and Kobe played duck game. Zack joined in after preschool drop off. He's definitely a little fussy today from his shots and I gave him some infant motrin at 9:30. Babies took good AM naps. Uncle Kyle and Lilly had lunch again. Big boys ate lunch well and now the little ones are in the play room (I swear Zack is saying Ash, Ash, Ash) haha Lilly, Zack, and Kobe are having a blast in the ball pit this afternoon.

I hope I don't regret this but I'm letting the 3 big boys up during rest time in the basement together. I'm going to let them play for a while, then have some homework for them to do, then they are going to watch Kung Fu Panda 2.

Wed

Very nice day! I was tempted to take the kids outside for a while then decided since I was letting Kobe skip his AM nap not too since he isn't walking yet and the ground is gross!

We played up in the playroom early this morning then for table time we talked about our birthdays and what month they are and then colored and painted a birthday poster. We sang happy birthday to Kobe. As you can see my child who won't feed himself food enjoyed eating crayons. Oliver had fun giving Kobe crayons. The bigger boys painted.

We then had a snack then went down in the basement for the rest of the morning. We played duplo blocks, tool bench and of course cars. They were so content during this time! I am so impressed with how Oliver can go down the 2 steps on the landing downstairs and I've also been meaning to tell you how nice it is that Elliott cleans up after he's finished eating (he even puts his dishes in my dishwasher if it's open!) What is your secret!?

Lunch went well but I was shocked to see that both Baldwin boys didn't finish their lunches!

Tuesday

Miss Lilly wasn't in the best mood early today. She was having some major melt downs and issues sharing and playing with the babies. All got better once the babies took am naps and she got to paint a birthday picture for her mommy. She also got to eat lunch with Uncle Kyle today and seemed to really enjoy that!

Zack had a good day. He was being his silly self and was very vocal. He didn't want to play on his own much though and his naps were much shorter than usual. He ate well and again just loved giving Kobe kisses today.

The boys had a good day at school. I don't think any of them napped today but at least they got some rest time in!

Friday

We reviewed colors, shapes, and letters today since that's what Landon's preschool class is doing. We did flash cards and Elliott and Landon knew all their colors. Elliott struggled more with identifying letters and shapes *but that is normal for a 2 year old! Landon got all his letters correct and did well with shapes (He didn't know what a rectangle is, but neither does his preschool teacher!) Ugh I can't stand when they don't consider a square a rectangle!!! It drives me nuts!!! Ok enough about that.

We colored and then played the lucky duck game which was perfect for the 3 boys (Kobe was sleeping) even Oliver loved holding the duckies and it's a great game for teaching colors.

We then had a snack and went downstairs and played cars and choo choo's and then sang some songs.

It was hard to get moving this morning, maybe Bryce's PJ day at school had us all in a sleepy mood. Even Elliott just curled up on the couch when we got home from taking Bryce to school. We all watched sesame street for about 20 minutes until everyone finally woke up to start the day!

Everyone ate very well. Oliver had a Hawaiian lunch, I thought it was funny that I had pineapple to add to his ham! Elliott had pizza, applesauce, pineapple, yogurt and milk.

All kids are playing nicely in the playroom now and about 10 minutes I'm going to be putting everyone (including myself :-) down for a nap!

Oliver had 2 HUGE #2's today too!

Thursday

It's been a good day but a day of conflict :-) All are in good moods but there has been some fights. Miss Lilly had Miss Faith over for a little today and wowza did we have 2 diva's this morning! They did leave on a good note though. I also learned I can't leave Kobe and Zack alone in the playroom. I went up to put the big kids to bed, thought Kobe was hurt he was screaming, ran down to find Zack on top of him I think kissing him to death! Poor Kobe's hair was soaked! It was rather funny but he was terrified. Should have known better, can't keep your eyes off them for a second!

Lilly learned about penguins today and winter. We talked about what penguins looks like and read some books about them. She did a craft and also made a snow flake today.

Big boys had a good day at school.

Mr. Zack had a huge #2 today and slept great! Wasn't into his food too much or milk.

wednesday

It was a good day! Everyone was happy and played very well together. Kobe took a morning nap so I experimented with Oliver while we did "school" time. I had him for a bit sit with us and he actually did color a little. Then I had him sit in a booster seat on the floor while we sang. He seemed to enjoy himself. Today we talked about winter. Things we see in the winter and how winter feels. We talked about animals that like the cold. We did a lot with penguins today. We did connect the dots, coloring, cutting, gluing. Funny thing happened in the car when we went to pick up Bryce, the kids were watching "wild animal babies" and Elliott was so excited when they started talking about penguins, then when Bryce got in the car turned out that's what they talked about in his class today too!

All kids ate super! Oliver had oatmeal with banana for breakfast, and lunch I forgot you had applesauce packed and gave him grapes. Elliott had 2 pancakes with a banana for breakfast and then lunch was pb and marshmallow on wheat bread, whole grain mac n cheese, yogurt, and grapes.

Oliver went down for nap at 12:30, and laid right down today without fussing (he must have been tired!) we'll see how long he naps though!

Elliott went down in his tent today around 1, but yelled for me for a while, then for mommy! Of course I checked on him 3 times to make sure he was ok. He kept saying he hurts. I put cream on his bottom (but it didn't look sore), rubbed his back and gave his head kisses. Has he been doing this for you?

Late morning we all went downstairs and played for a long while (without Kobe) funny how much older Oliver acts. Kobe is a disaster down there, but Oliver plays right along with the big kids. They had fun playing choo choo's and cars.

Tuesday

What a yucky day outside! Ugh! All the kiddos are in good spirits though! Smooth morning. Everyone ate well for breakfast. Babies took naps from 10-11 this am. Zack was not into his lunch at all! He of course gobbled up his yogurt though! I had to fight Lilly with drinking her juice again and ended up holding her cup for his (she knows how to play me!) Big boys ate nothing at lunch (must have been a big snack today) so they'll be getting it for snack later.

Lilly and I talked about Winter and "winter words" and what snow is and what it looks and feels like. She made 2 snow day pictures (here's hoping it'll bring some white stuff soon!)

All are playing now after lunch, we'll be napping soon though!

Thursday

Great Day! Mr. Zach and Kobe played for just about a half hour or so before they were both ready for AM naps. Down by 10:00am and not a peep out of Z (wish I could say the same for K) must be that NUK, but the big guy slept solid until around 12.

Faith and Miss Shelly joined us this morning for a playdate with Lilly. The girls had a fun day and did some coloring and stickers. They are so much a like! They had oranges and fishies for snack and loved dining together at the kitchen table for lunch. They both ate well and got some marshmallows for a treat.

The big boys played race cars all morning. Bryce and Tristan had me video tape them so they could watch themselves. Already spoke with Alicia about having Tristan spend the night Sunday since B doesn't have school Monday.

Zach ate a little more than half his peas then did the spit out thing (see picture!) He ate all of his applesauce and half his sandwich. 2 wet diapers so far (but wowza did he have some major gas sounds when I laid him down for his nap!) He's playing happily with Kobe now in the playroom (they are playing/eating musical instruments). Oh FYI he loves elmo and tried to eat my t.v. when I put him on!

Big boys at school went well, I still have to go through bookbags. All big kids are down for naps/rest time.
