Wed

Breakfast: fiber 1 pancakes, milk
Lunch: apples, mac n cheese, pudding, milk

All ate well for both meals

WE had a fun day. It started off pretty blahhhhhhhh, dreary weather doesn't help the situation. the kids did a great job at playing while I made my stuff for dinner tonight.

then after sesame street we did school time. We sang and danced to all our songs (Hayden had a breakdown during this time and actually threw something at me so he got a time out, then when I said "Hayden when you are finished crying and want to be nice again you can come out and play with us, he said "I don't want to be nice Ashy" Needless to say, the one pick is of him on time out!) After this he calmed down and did great for the rest of fun activities.

We read a dinosaur book then went upstairs and painted dinosaur eggs (that was so much fun, they really got into it!) then we played with playdough until lunch time. Landon and sissy are finally getting to a good age to do these messy projects (they all 4 stay seated for a whole 40 minutes!)

monday

No pics :-( I got a new phone that has a good camera (and a cord to transfer the pics to the computer) well I took a lot of pics with it but can't get them to download. Sorry! I'll have Kyle look at it tonight!

Breakfast: choc chip pancakes, milk
Lunch: grill cheese, grapes, pb crackers, milk, m and m;s

All ate well for both meals

Well the Rankin boys were grumpalumps today. Carver kids were in good spirits and Hayden is off to a super week! Not much fussing from him today and he played well!

Bryce is definitely going through something (it's the half year blues!) he's just not happy with anything has a total meltdown, gets sent to his room, comes back happy for a while then the cycle continues!

So we tried school time (but no one was into it today) We did sing a lot of songs and did the calendar (talked about March) We did the weather.

I also took the kids outside for a little bit for some fresh air (but it was pretty chilly)

FYI: I'm having an Easter Egg hunt the last WEd of this month for the kids! Please bring some small items to put in some eggs! Don't need a ton of candy (but maybe some m & M's , stickers, tatoos, stuff like that) Maybe each family just get 1 or 2 things/???

Thursday

Breakfast: fiber 1 poptarts, milk, banana
lunch: pb and marsh sandwhiches on fiber 1 bread, apples, cheese, milk

All ate super for both meals today

Great day! Mr. Grumpy Bryce wasn't a real treat to be around early this morning (he did well though once I confined him to his "alone" room. We took him to and from school and he was a lot better after lunch (played well with Tristan after Lunch in his room)

Hayden is having a good day (had a little breakdown at nap time (he's been doing this all week though at nap time, I don't think he's been napping so I think he's really tired!) I hope the little guy sleeps today.

We watched sesame street, did our songs, weather, calendar, practiced the shape heart, we finished our dinosaur craft, read some books and pretended to be dinosaurs.

Tristan is trying out sleeping in a sleeping bag in the spare living room (fancy room) today. He was not happy about this situation and had a huge melt down but now has calmed down and is talking to himself (we'll see if he actually sleeps today??)

Happy snow day!

wed

Breakfast: banana/choc chip whole wheat muffins, milk

Lunch: mac n cheese, oranges, pb crackers, milk

All ate well at both meals.

So today we did some different things to change up our routine. We first went to Target (in case the snow comes I needed to get a few groceries) They were so well behaved and I was asked a million times if they are all mine :-)

Then when we came home I noticed it was actually "nice" outside and warm for Feb. so I let the kiddos play outside on the patio. Of course the couldn't stay away from the snow. The had so much fun and the dose of sunshine was what we all needed! Bryce and Hayden had fun putting snow in their trucks and digging, Paige and Landon just wondered around.

We then came inside and had lunch, watched a video then went upstairs and got bathes (fun times were had with bath crayons). Then all off to bed.

We will do school time when they wake up (we just had so much fun being off routine for once I went with it)

We are going to do the weather/calendar/songs/ and our show n tell (what has tails?)

Hayden is having a good day (going to the store and playing outside definitely helped him to get his habits off his mind. As soon as we were back inside he started them again but not so much. He just loves our new magnadoodle (so I've been trying to have him use that to occupy him when he's having a rough time)

tuesday

breakfast: fiber poptart, milk, banana
lunch: pizza, pudding, apples and pb, milk

All ate very well for both meals

So today was a good day. Tristan is back to his old self (so happy to see) The kids played well together for the most part. We took Bryce to and from school and did lots of puzzles today. Hayden did the calendar and date too!

My little Hayden is having a rough week :-( It was worse today than yesterday. He is just not "himself" know what I mean??? Maybe he's just hitting a huge milestone??? He has cried on and off a lot this morning (about everything from me not being in the same room, to needing a tissue) He has the hand/finger issues (and I tried my best to not give attention to it) but he was constantly complaining about boo boo's and such. Another "off" thing for today: He was doing a repetitive thing where he would rub my leg. Hard to explain but he would be playing nicely for about 2 minutes then have to (and I mean have to) come over to me and rub my leg. He did this all morning, very strange??? So we'll just hope the little guy takes a good nap (he's been crying on and off since I put him down at noon) and he'll get over this stage soon.

Other than that nothing much new to report.

Oh just wanted to remind everyone about our May 15th Beach trip to NC.

And Tristan needs diapers asap!

monday

Breakfast: fiber 1 pancakes with choc chips and milk
Lunch: periogies, cheese, crackers w pb, apple sause, milk, and cake for dessert

All ate really well!

It's been a good day today! Bryce is a little grumpy and Hayden a little fussy but nothing too bad (and they have played well today) Hayden has been complaining about his fingers???? I've had to kiss them a million times and he now has bandaids on them. When I gave the boys a bath he wouldn't put them in the water?

Isn't that pic on the couch so cute!??

Ok so we played with Landon's new toys a lot today. Then we did school time and sang our songs (they are getting really good!) then we did the calendar, weather, and date of week/month.

We talked about tails and what they are and who has them. Wed is show and tell day and they are to bring over something they have with a tail (no real animals :-) they drew pictures of things with tails.

Then we went on a discovery walk through the house and found things with tails and then Hayden and Bryce picked out books with animals with tails and we read lots!

We watched a new Thomas DVD of Bryce's (they loved that!), ate lunch, then put sissy to bed (she was sleepy) and bathed the 3 boys (because Bryce's feet stank!)

Then off to sleep (Landon is still in his big boy bed and I haven't heard a peep!) Way to go big 2 year old!
