Monday

It was a bit of a rough morning for me because my 3 boys are all fighting colds and have been extra needy/fussy.  But luckily by late morning Kobe finally snapped out of it and would let me have my hands free.  The other kiddos played well.  We spent the morning learning about the letter C and how car starts with C.  We did a worksheet and a car sticker craft.  We sang the wheels on the car song (which Alexa was a pro at)  We played the elefun and duckie game and talked about our colors and counted the butterflies and ducks.  We also did lots of puzzles and read some books too.  The morning went by fast.

Everyone ate well for both meals.  Alexa had pizza, yogurt, grapes, prune and milk for lunch.  Elliott had pizza, yogurt drink, grapes.  Oliver had his food with some yogurt and grapes too.  Oliver had a #2 diaper but just wet ones from Alexa.

Everyone seemed extra sleepy today.  However it's an hour into nap and Alexa still isn't alseep and I had to just got up to make sure her diaper wasn't dirty (it wasn't)  so not sure if she's going to nap today.  Everyone else passed out as soon as their heads hit the pillow. 

Reminder:  Alexa is coming Mon, Tues, and Wed next week due to conferences and Bryce valentines party next week.  I have the Baldwin boys just Wed. 

I might take Kobe to the Dover library tomorrow and next Tues I'm going to take him and Alexa to that one.  We couldn't go today and next Monday I can't either because I have a conference with Landon's teachers that morning (Kyle will be here with Kobe and Alexa for a half hour)

Thursday

It was a good morning!  We learned more about the letter P and talked about penguins today.  Did a worksheet and penguin craft. Then we did some flash cards with letters, numbers, colors and shapes.  Elliott did great, and I basically had the 2 year olds copy what I said.  I was happy to see Alexa say "P" when I held up the P card

We colored, glued.  The biggest hit this morning was playing the elefun game.  I finally got batteries for it and all the 2 year olds loved it!  I think we played about 50 times and sang butterfly fly song and counted the butterflies.  We read some books, played the duckie game. 

Oliver had 2 time outs today for taking toys from others and not listening to Miss Ashley. 

Lunch is over now and the 2 year olds are watching toy story while the big boys play legos upstairs.

Everyone ate well!  Alexa had chicken nuggets, grapes, prunes, yogurt and her milk for lunch.  Elliott had the same as yesterday for lunch. 

Wednesday

I posted some pictures on facebook for you today!!!

It was a great morning!  Spent almost 2 hours outside!  Got good and dirty!  Swings, balls, bikes, chalk, sand, water, play dough.......  a kids dream come true!  Came inside around 10:30 and washed up and changed if needed and had a little snack/drink.

Then we talked about our letters (we sang a lot outside too!)  We talked about the letter P and what sound it makes and that polar bear starts with P.  We talked about polar bears and what they look like and how their fur feels.  We did 2 worksheets/crafts that involved coloring and pasting!

After that we played down in the basement until lunch.  We read books and played cars/trains. 

Everyone is eating well today!  Everyone had their usual for breakfast.  Elliott had pb sandwhich, monkey yogurt drink, grapes for lunch Alexa had prune, grapes, pizza, and yogurt with her milk.  Oliver and Kobe had messy diapers so far today.  It's a quarter after 12 now and everyone looks pretty exhausted!  We are finishing up lunch and watching a little sprout and then hoping for nice naps from everyone beginning around 1 today!

Monday

Very good and productive morning!!  We rearranged the basement to make room for the new toys!!  Basically the kiddos were so content playing with the new stuff that I could straighten up and go through toys!!  Funny how the boys all preferred the doll house while alexa played with the new toy cars!  That really ate up most of the morning.  It was very comical watching the boys use star wars figures in the doll house (that is pink and frilly!)

Came upstairs and talked about Owl's and what sounds they make and made an Owl craft.  We talked about birds too.  Elliott got to practice his cutting skills again while the others colored and glued.  We got washable markers out and colored up a storm and for that I took off everyones shirts (so they were tickling each other and giggling about that)  Although of course still Alexa and Kobe seemed to get marker on their shirts (it's suppose to be washable).

It was a poop day!  Everyone (and I mean every one) had a poop or 2 (Oliver and Kobe)  So we are all cleared out in time for naps.

Everyone ate well.  We had chicken patties, some pizza rolls, oranges, yogurts and milk.

Tuesday

It was a great morning again!  We played inside and watched Sesame street after school drop off.  Then we talked about farm animals and sang Old McDonald and danced.  I read a farm book and then we talked about cows.  What they eat, look like, sounds they make, etc.  The kids all then made a cow puppet.  Elliott again got to practice his cutting skills.

Afterward we had a small snack and then went outside for an HOUR!!  YEAH for outside time and running around and getting out energy!  The 4 kiddos wanted to swing for what seemed like forever.  They kept asking to play in the sandbox and fill up the water table (oh how I can't wait for spring time and Kobe's new sand/water table for his birthday!!!)  We just had so much fun!  We played restaurant in the play house and playdough on the picnic table. 

Came inside, washed up and had lunch.  Everyone ate well.  They had chicken nuggets, pizza bites, yogurts, fruit and milk.  Afterward the big boys played in Landon's room (legos and angry bird board games) while the 2 year olds ran around and played in the playroom. 

2 year olds down for naps at 1, although I still hear Alexa every now and then so not sure if she is napping up there, Kobe took forever to settle down too.  Baldwin boys are passed out!

thursday

another great morning!  Elliott is acting up a bit but didn't start that until late morning.  He looks sleepy so I'm guessing that's what it is and hoping a nap will help.  Nothing big, just wanting to pick on his little brother a lot.

We played with toys (Alexa was into the word world stuff again!)  We colored with markers and crayons and then after snack time they were all chanting for playdough so we got that out again.  The new play dough set is a big hit.  We played some more and then read a book about farm animals and made a peek a boo barn with animal stickers.  Elliott did a great job of cutting out his barn (I was impressed!) 

Everyone ate well again!  Alexa had chicken nuggets with oranges/prune and yogurt for lunch.  Elliott had his usual.  i can't get A to drink much today.  Oliver had 2 big #2's and nothing from A.

Wednesday

Great morning!  All in good moods and playing very well today!  Yeah!  The kids have kept busy playing with lots of new toys.  We played with play dough for a long while, then learned about piggies (color, shape, sounds, and how they love mud/dirt)  They did a pig craft and painted dirt on their pigs.  We played cars, trains, starwars, angry birds (figures), blocks, word world stuff.

Everyone ate well for both meals today.  Elliott had pb sandwich with yogurt and grapes and Alexa had pizza, oranges, prune, yogurt for lunch.

Alexa's cough seems to come and go, was bad after drop off but I haven't noticed it too much the rest of the day.  She is in a very good mood considering she hasn't slept for 2 days! haha hoping everyone takes good naps this afternoon. 

Elliott and Landon are now playing upstairs after lunch and me and the 3 toddlers are in the playroom.
