Monday

Breakfast: Choc. chip whole grain muffins, milk (all ate great!) Ian loved eating at the big boy table and didn't even fuss when momma left today.

Lunch: mac n cheese, peaches, yogurt, cookie, and milk (All ate very well again!!!) Ian drank a ton of milk too!

Reid ate all of his mac n cheese and beans :-) And his bottles were history in like 1 minute!

Great morning! All the kiddos played great today! We played after breakfast and then took Bryce to school. When we got home we talked about Christmas angels. We then made our own Christmas angels with our foot and hand prints. Reid could have cared less about the paint and Ian loved it on his hands *but wasn't a fan of me painting his foot! haha. When I asked Landon if he wanted me to paint his foot and hands he said "no mommy, no paint me!" So I guess this is a project for very little ones and older ones (Bryce is excited to make one later today!)

Reid then took a nap for 2 hours and I took the older boys downstairs to play. We colored, sang/listened to christmas music, played with our nativity and talked about the christmas story, played cars, and then Landon and Ian played "sleep" which was so cute (see pics).

We picked up Bryce, ate lunch, and then my 2 played choo choo's upstairs while Reid and Ian played very nicely in the playroom.

Friday

Breakfast: everyone ate great and Jocelyn and Bryce had second cereal in the car Breakfast!
Lunch: I packed everyone's lunch and they ate it at speech therapy! Everyone ate great again and the boys LOVED the marshmallows!!!

Great, super fast/busy morning! My boys both got up early, so Jocelyn had lots of friends to play with before school time. I gave them each a big box to play with (wow did J and B get creative) they are still having fun coloring and cutting them!

We went to school and Landon had fun playing with his friend Thomas all morning!

Picked them up 10 minutes early to go to speech. The kids were singing "the drummer boy" and playing their drums (sad story next). J and B were so proud of their drums they made (coffee cans with paper on them and they colored them.) Well they wanted to bring them into speech and I told them that I didn't think it would be a good idea but J insisted. Well wouldn't you know it when we got home (after I already put Landon to bed) she noticed it was missing! I'm pretty sure she left it behind (but have no idea where because I cleaned off the table we were using). So I explained to her that we can't go back because A. the roads are slippery now, and B. Landon is sleeping. She took it well, and I told her that either you (if you have any empty coffee or hot choc containers) or I can make another with her.

We also played play dough, read books, colored, and ate lunch at speech. It started snowing there so the kids got so excited to see it falling. You should have heard the things they were thinking of, Jocelyn was talking about ice skating, and sledding, and playing in the snow! They ran around outside and were catching snowflakes in their mouths.

We came back home (very slowly) and I put Landon to bed while the big kids played once again with those boxes.

I'm trying for a no nap day for Bryce (santa needs him to go to sleep early so he/she can wrap presents!) Here's hoping for an afternoon of playing nicely (oh and the kids also wrote letters to santa today too!)

Wednesday

Jocelyn ate a great breakfast and lunch. Sorry to say I guess my boys aren't fans of the strawberry pancake!!! I couldn't believe they both didn't like it (however me and baby loved them, yum!)

Great morning, the kids played well. Jocelyn was so funny after you left, she said " oh I hope I don't have the diarrea today" haha don't know where that came from, but she's been fine.

Good times at school, as you can see I went in the classroom and took a pic of Bryce's wall today. Then I got to see their manger scene and the kids informed me about baby Jesus and the Christmas star (which they learned about today!) Oh and Jocelyn told me yesterday "you know Miss Ashley, Christmas isn't all about us!" It's about baby Jesus!!! So cute!

The kids ate lunch, then painted their ornaments, and are now playing so well together (doing more arts and crafts) Jocelyn and Bryce are really into cutting and taping things!)

Tuesday

Breakfast: pumpkin bread, banana, milk (all ate very well) except Bryce

Lunch: pb and marsh (Lilly had spagettios), pears, cheese slices, yogurt drinks, milk (All ate very well except again Bryce and Jocelyn didn't eat much yet either)

It was a great morning! The kids were so good while I made my snack for mom-to-mom. Then we made handprint ornaments (will paint on Thursday) Lilly was mad that she couldn't "play" with the dough though. They colored a lot while I cooked.

Then we went downstairs and listened to and sang christmas music (Tristan was belting out jingle bells again!) We did a Christmas sticker craft and talked about the stickers and why we see them at Christmas (stockings, candycanes, angels, stars, etc.) I then got the little people nativity out and we talked about all the people/animals in it. I read The Christmas Star book and had the kids act out the story with the pieces "Tristan really got into it, it was so cute when he held up the angel and yelled "Glory to God in the Highest!"

We then sang happy birthday to Jesus and talked about his birthday being Christmas.

We picked up Bryce and had some lunch, the big kids are playing and I'm getting ready to put Lilly to sleep (she did fall asleep during lunch but perked up when I put her in the playroom)

Oh and Lilly and Landon were playing sleeping all morning (check out the pic of them snuggled with blankets) They even kissed once :-)

Next week we will do Gingerbread house decorating! I have 1 per family. I have a good bit of candy but was thinking for the wee ones (Lilly) maybe some marshmallows or mini m&m's would be good?? If you would like bring either over next week that would be good (I don't need a huge bag, just 1 or 2 of the tiny size.

The following week we will be doing more crafts (Jocelyn has invited us over for a craft/celebration on Tuesday) We will also be doing a birthday party for jesus (I have the cake and everything to make!)

Monday

Breakfast: Home Made Yummy pumpkin bread with milk (all ate very well, I must be a good baker :-)

Lunch: Reid woofed his mac n cheese and banana!!, The bigger boys had grilled cheese on wheat, yogurt, banana/pineapples, milk (Ian was only interested in his yogurt today and drank his entire milk) My boys ate well and got lollipops (only because it's "L" week and Bryce brought one home from school, luckily Ian doesn't know what a lollipop is yet!

Great morning! It went super fast! We had breakfast and got ready to take Bryce to school. Came home and Reid got his bottle and off to nap for 2 hours 15 minutes (and no fussing!)

The big boys made handprint ornaments (Reid made his after nap time) They are baking and you'll get them next week.

We played in the basement (read lots of books, Landon was in the reading mood) We colored some pictures, talked about Christmas time (and I told them the Christmas story using my little people nativity set) However we are missing Joseph so one of the 3 kings had to step in to fill the position :-) We sang and danced to Christmas music and of course played cars!

Picked up Bryce, had some lunch and then it was play time until about 12:30 (Ian was so tired he was making funny noises (oh and was doing that scream/squeal thing again)) so funny!

NOTE: Ian only cried for about a minute after mommy left today (the pumpkin bread changed his attitude fast!)

Wednesday

Jocelyn ate very well for both of her meals today! The kids played great all morning! They were very into coloring this morning as you can tell by the pics. The colored right up until it was time to go to school (and Bryce wasn't happy that he had to leave!)

School went well, the kids are learning about kindness (and there is a special kindness kangaroo in their room) Jocelyn has info on what the teacher is doing with it (I love the idea!) Let's just say I'm hoping it helps Bryce be more kind to his brother for the month of Dec!

The kids came home and ate lunch and have been watching scooby doo (your getting my boys addicted!) When I went to put landon down for a nap he said "no mommy I want scooby!" haha

What a yucky day, and wow does it make you just want to take a nap. I'm going to be putting Bryce up for quiet time very soon!

Breakfast: Lilly had fruit loops in milk and banana (and ate great) Tristan had an english muffin and banana with is milk (ate great not too much drinking)

Lunch: Lilly woofed her lunch, yogurt, applesauce, spagettios, Tristan had a pb and white stuff, apples, cheese, yogurt (ate great still didn't drink much)

We had a good morning. The kids were really into coloring today. We colored and went over some letters/numbers (Tristan is going through a "I can't do it" phase because he wants everything to look perfect) We talked about Christmas (didn't get to do any crafts as I was going through my books today to get ready and buy craft supplies) We will be doing a lot!! Starting with our handprint ornaments next week!

Tristan got a funny look on his face and I asked if he needed to use the potty, he looked down his pants and said "actually I do need to finish peeing" So then he sat and went (I was trying my hardest to get him to put on underpants today but he got so upset about it) He told me he's going to use the potty more (we'll see)

We did puzzles, sang and listened to Christmas music, The kids are playing very well together today! Yeah!!
