grocery day today!

All kiddos ate well today and we went to the grocery store (we are regulars now) The staff just loves the kids!

We came home, picked up bryce and outside the rest of the morning.

The boys are all upstairs playing (get this) nicely!!! Yeah, I'm letting them stay up a little later since they are playing so well, sissy is fast asleep!

Yeah for summer weather starting tomorrow! woop woop!

Wed

Breakfast: whole grain waffles, banana, milk

Lunch: mac n cheese, yogurt, pears, milk

All ate well except of course Tristan (not much at either meal)

So I think after this morning I will be going gray! It was a rough rough rough morning. At least I got good pics right? I don't know what it was (actually now that I think of it I'm pretty sure tonight is a full moon) the kids would not play today and it was just constant fighting!!!

Unfortunately it was a bit too cold to go outside too (I hope it warms up for this afternoon if they wake early. I just felt like today was kind of chaotic!

We did play play dough and did do some coloring but that was about all I could do with them (I was busy playing referee.) Finally at lunch I had a serious talk with them all and said if I hear one more child scream or anyone fighting they all were going to go to seperate rooms to play until bed. Sure enough they were all in rooms by 11:30 and I let them play until noon.

We shall see how they sleep (they need sleep) Even Bryce told me right before nap that he's very tired and that's why he was fighting so much!

Everyone say a little prayer for me that we have a better afternoon! I've been praying all day "lord give me patience, kindness, understanding and love for these children!!!"

Kids!!! Gotta love them!

Lilly of course was no problem! Because she doesn't know how to pick and fight yet! haha She ate well (at lunch every now and then a peach would pop out of her mouth) She wouldn't drink much for me today but more than ever before!

tuesday

so sorry no pics today, we were so busy that by the time I remembered it was nap time!!!

Lunch: pb and marsh sandwhiches, grapes, cheese, milk

All ate well for both meals.

We took Bryce to school today and then headed into the mall but then realized
A. the mall doesn't open until 10
B. That Heather Stem was bringing her kiddos over for a play date

So we quickly stopped by walgreens to pick up pics and then headed home.

We spent the entire morning playing with Delana (it was fun to mix it up for a bit and get a different kid to play with.) Heather stayed with the kids while I picked up Bryce. We played and then all were so ready for naps at noon.

Paige and Landon were handfuls this morning (just would cry at the drop of anything) I hope they wake up refreshed after a long nap!

Monday

Breakfast: pancakes, milk
Lunch: grilled cheese, grapes, yogurt, milk

All ate well for both meals today

We spent the morning playing and doing artsy stuff. We made cards, and rainbows. We talked about the colors in the rainbows. They kids actually played very well today (I only had the Carvers) I did a good bit of cleaning and the kiddos followed me around and played in the rooms I cleaned (they loved it because they all got to play upstairs and downstairs) The listened to music and did puzzles. Paige will need some clothes and diapers soon! I am out of shirts for her

thursday

sorry no pics, we were busy busy busy all morning!

We went and took Bryce to school, stopped at the bank, went grocery shopping (the people just love to see the kiddos at the stores!) The kids were great!, Came home unloaded groceries, picked up Bryce and then played outside the rest of the morning until lunch time.

The kids had a little too much fun in the sandbox today (lets just say they will need bathes tonight (I would have given them one but my kids are going to the park tonight and just going to get dirty again!)

wednesday

breakfast: fiber 1 pancakes, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh on high protein bread, cantelope, apples, cheese slices, milk, m and ms for dessert

All ate very well for both meals.

Lilly ate her food well but again not so much with her milk.

We started out our day by going downstairs and listening/singing/dancing to my new praise music cd!!! It was awesome! The kids and me had a blast for a good 45 minutes!! I think they liked it more than their kiddie music.

We watched about a half hour of sesame street then had school time.

We talked about safety. What should you do if you get lost? It was so funny to here what they had to say. First I had to explain what lost means. Bryce did a great job and said it's when you can't find mommy and daddy. So then I gave them 2 choices A. eat a cookie or B. stay where you are. They all got the right answer (except Sissy said Cookie!) They colored their safety shirts and sewed a button on (Oh my Hayden had a ball he just loves threading stuff and did a great job, I had to help everyone else)

We then talked about dinosaurs again and how to spell dinosaur. the kids practiced tracing the letters and then glued on dinosaurs on their paper. There journals are finally complete and will be given to you today.

We did the weather and calendar and then went outside for the rest of the morning.

All are in good moods (Paige is a little funny now and then) like when I put her down for nap she screamed for a half hour with me even patting her butt) So I realized it was over 4 hours and gave her some more tylenol and now I don't hear a peep.

tuesday

Breakfast: fiber 1 poptarts, milk

Lunch: pizza, yogurt, cantelope, milk

All ate well for both meals except Hayden didn't eat much at lunch (as you can see in the pic he wasn't happy when I told him he can't have a treat unless he eats more.)

Great day, everyone is in a good mood. Bryce has been acting strange today (he slept late and wanted to snuggle with me all morning and after school) Hoping it's just the virus getting out of him.

I took the kids to drop off Bryce then ran to Kohl's for a quick return trip. We came home spent the rest of the morning outside (they played so well) and then picked up Bryce and had lunch.

The big boys played well after lunch up in Bryce's room. All are down for naps and I hope Paige sleeps better today!

manic monday!

All ate very well (Yeah for my kiddos finally eating after not eating for what seemed like a week!)

Ok so this morning was spent playing a lot inside. I could not do any school time because my 2 were out of control (Landon especially) I found I had to spend as much one on one time as possible today with Lilly and Landon (the others did great playing together) not like I ignored them or anything. Lilly was fussier than I've ever seen, and Landon was beating up everyone unless I had him right on my lap giving him attention (and yes he had many time outs in his room)

So right before lunch we went outside (big hit) came in ate lunch and then outside once again. They did great outside (yeah for sunshine) and actually got to play for over an hour out there.

Paige is cracking my up today. She is telling on everyone like "Landon took it from me" or "Landon pushed me" actual sentences now!! haha

Hayden is a little sensitive but actually in a great mood and playing really well.

No probs with Tristan!

Bryce was extremely slow to play today (very whiney and just didn't want to do much) he was sick most of the weekend.

So all in all a rough start finished by a great ending!! Yeah now lets hope for naps!

Lilly ate well, would not drink again (getting even more defiant with that , hitting and screaming if I put the cup up to her?) She seems happy though. Oh and she has been enjoying lots of new toys today ( the weebles are her new favorite)

thursday

All ate a good breakfast, Sissy and Landon didn't have much for lunch though.

It was a good day. Landon is still under the weather so we didn't do too much. Just took Bryce to and from school and hung out and played at home. When Landon's meds finally kicked in I took the kiddos outside for about a half hour until it was time to pick up Bryce. Hayden has been sneezing today and has a running nose (I wonder if he has allergies, mine are terrible or if it's just a cold coming on??)

You should have seen the 3 of them outside (they all had a dump truck in tow including sissy) I swear she's just one of the boys!)

wed

Lunch: pb and marsh sandwhiches (yes again and yes we still have no microwave!) , cheese slices, grapes, milk

All ate well except Landon. Lilly gobbled her food down! She would get irritated if I couldn't consistently feed her (because someone needed something) She spent the entire morning on her belly or sitting (no exersaucer!!!) I think I may be putting that away again because she seems to be happier on the floor. I didn't see any on the knees but she was definately trying to get into more things and just had a ton of fun. (oh and I found a toy that she loves loves loves its the gears) She was giggling and clapping and dancing to it all morning, the kids would take turns pressing the button for her.

Landon is sick sick sick! Although he wasn't too bad today if on meds. He has a high fever and runny nose (congestion) so sorry if your kiddos get sick this weekend. At least it's not barfing right? So he wasn't himself today and needed his momma a little extra (always a challenge with 6 kids) The other kiddos did great today (big helpers and played well together) thank goodness. We didn't get school today because Landon was with me.

The kids played all morning (Tristan and Bryce were best friends and Paige and Hayden hung out) Bryce at one point played with Lilly for a good half hour and kept saying he loves her.

Tristan had a little melt down today during story time. He just kept saying "I don't want to" I started singing twinkle twinkle little star and he sang the tune to "I don't want to" haha

The kids even cleaned up all their toys before going outside too (they played outside only for a half hour while I got lunch ready (the grass was still wet) they had fun and then came in and ate and played up in Bryce's room until bed time. all are quiet now, let's hope for naps (I need one after my night!)

Tuesday

Breakfast: fiber 1 poptarts, milk

Lunch: grapes, mac n cheese, pb crackers, milk, cookie for dessert

All ate well today (and there were left over cookies with "5" m and m's on each from Bryce's preschool snack so the kiddos got a yummy treat today!

We went to the grocery store today and I got a ton of "wow, what great kids you have" comments. They were so good (maybe because Landon isn't feeling well) haha, but they were good.

We came home and they helped to unload the groceries (haha) sissy dragging around random items in bags that it.

We then picked up Bryce and headed home for lunch. The kids are finishing up lunch now and their yummy cookies. We will play a bit more then off to nap time!

Monday

Breakfast: choc chip pancakes, banana, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh sandwiches, cheese slices, cantelope, milk, m and m's

All ate great (hence the m and ms) We have no microwave so that is why we did easy lunch today.

It's a great day! Bryce has given me a run for my money but all others seem in good spirits. Bryce had a bunch of time outs and lets just say 1 lasted over a half hour while I scrubbed the wall that he colored all over (see him and sissy trying to clean it!)

We did a lot of playing inside (and downstairs, they missed the toys down there since we haven't been down for 2 weeks) We sang our old rainforest songs (they loved them)! Hayden helped me with the weather and calendar. We read lots of books too (and they were fighting over my lap and what books we should read)

We talked about April and how it rains a lot. The kids painted a picture entitled their April Showers. They did great and loved it. Afterward we played outside until lunch time.

Tristan is cracking me up (well not in a good way) I've heard him use the words "I don't want to" over a dozen times today. He also yelled about an hour into nap that he needed a tissue for his booger! His mannerisms remind me so much of Bryce now at almost 4!!! Oh my!

Paige is a mess today (she's in a different outfit now) She was all over and into everything outside. She has this new thing of throwing mulch all over herself (and that with the sand and chalk she was quite the sight)

Landon was a sleepy guy today. I have no idea why he woke up so early.

Lilly is in a grand mood. She is definately wanting to get into more stuff. She was in her highchair today and kept reaching for things to pull off our partition (I love it!) She will not drink a darn thing for me today! But ate great (I gave her some applesause at lunch so she would have some type of liquid! I will try again when she wakes!

Hayden is in a great mood, he is so excited for the dentist!!!!
