Tuesday

sorry no pics today, I'm still uploading from the beach!

It was a good morning! Kobe took a great 2 hour nap so we went outside during those 2 hours and it was so nice out! The boys wanted to swing for a long while and slide. Then we came down under the patio and I sat out buckets of water with ice and they had a blast playing/eating the ice and water. They splashed cars in it.

Ian and Landon both were snotty today *they must have the same cold, they had the same thing going on.

Ian ate great for both meals (he was super hungry) pancake with milk and grilled cheese (he didn't eat his fruit or yogurt at lunch though. I've been noticing he is using his good manners a lot lately (lots of thank yous)

We then came inside before lunch and I did a mini lesson about spelling their first names (Bryce's last name) I wrote it for them then they copied (you should see Landon's Kyle!) Ian of course just scribbled over what I wrote, then we decorated them with cars stickers.

After lunch everyone went down for a nap (Kobe is super sleepy today) Bryce is already passed out, not sure about the other 2 boys but I don't hear anything

Tuesday

Fun and Hot morning! We were outside all morning and time flew by! Of course it's so hot out we had to get very wet. You should have seen Lily and Ian, they were so cute. They both played like crazy in the little pools. They would copy each other and would do silly things like fall in the pool backwards and then laugh at each other. They were inseparable today and are little love bugs. They are the same height and it's so cute to watch them play and talk. At one point the choo choo whistled and we could see it from the driveway. Ian went to look and left the pool, Lilly followed and said, Ian lets swim, ok.? Ian said, look... train, then Lilly said ok let's go get it Inan, grabbed his hand and off she thought they were going to go (of course I had to stop their romantic get away!)

Landon had a rough start today, but after an hour or so of screaming over everything he seems better. The big boys played chase around the elmo sprinkler. We ended the morning with swinging.

The kids all ate well, blueberry muffins and bananas for breakfast, lunch was whole grain mac n cheese, yogurts, mellons, and yogurt.

monday

Today was a lazy day! Ughh it's so hot outside and I just wasn't in the mood to get all the pools and wet stuff out since I'm mowing tonight (that's going to be fun!). So we stayed inside and played. We actually had a board game thon. Ian didn't get most of the games but was good at playing "lucky ducks" and the "go fishing" games. Bryce was in a mood this morning, probably because he was up by 7 and went to bed super late. So I told him no nap today then he's not going swimming tonight. Landon slept in until 9 so we'll see if he naps but he was acting up too. Ian was begging for his nuk and sleep all morning. So all in all, I had 3 sleepy heads this morning, well 4 if you count me.

Ian didn't eat much today at all, 2 hours later he finally ate his breakfast, he drank his milk and lunch was just a few nibbles of mellons, a bite of yogurt and mac n cheese and then he was done. All were down for naps by noon. We took a little trip to return library books today too just because I was sick of my 2 big boys picking on each other.

Tomorrow we are going to have fun, we are going to play in the water and get messy, no more of these boring mornings for me!

Sorry so late, I got a message from the international breastmilk project today saying they want to feature me and my story, so that's what I've been busy doing since I put the kids to bed today.

Great day, I texted you all some pics, hope you got them. We played outside for 2 hours this morning! I thought it was going to be too hot, but there was a nice breeze and the kids had a blast in the sprinkler. We swang and mostly got wet today. We had a mid morning snack to hold off lunch (because Mr. Ian was a sleepy head) he was looking for his bink at 9:00am already! Outside got it off his mind though. We had marshmallows and fishies and cups of ice water for snack. I've never seen Lilly drink so much, she loved it that she could walk around outside with her big girl cup (lots of practice today)

We then came inside (stripped down into undies and diapers) and watched a little pbs while I got lunch ready. They ate sandwhiches, mac n cheese, watermellown/blueberries, and yogurt with juice. Then off to bed by 12:30

Monday

It's been a great day, we are staying inside and keeping cool! The boys were artists today and painted up a storm (Kyle wait unti lyou see Landon's cars!) This kept them busy for quite some time. They also played cars, zippity, and now are playing with the train set down in the basement.

I can't believe it's already 12:30! I'm going to put my big boys to bed around 1:30 and then Matt and Luke can chill and watch a little tv before mommy gets here (they haven't watched any today because they've been so busy)

Everyone ate great today too! Chicken nuggets, tator tots, yogurt, watermellon, and cookies for a treat.

Marshmallows and fishies for snack. I had to cut Luke off, does he ever get full???!! I'm in trouble when my crew get older!

Tuesday

It's definately a day after a holiday here! I should say today wasn't as bad as I thought though so that's good. Landon slept in until 9am so I think that's why. Bryce actually didn't melt down and act out either. Tristan and Ian were very well behaved and played great. It was Miss Lillian who was a total mess today! I knew it was going to be bad when as soon as daddy left she seriously cried and fussed for an hour straight about EVERYTHING. Finally I just held her and snuggled and she settled for a bit.

I warned Miss jen about Lilly and sure enough she wasn't herself with her either. She kept saying, "I can't do it" and her tongue kept coming out showing how sleepy she was. Jen said she wasn't bad though. She was kind to Ian today though so that was good.

The kids had cereal and bananas for breakfast and didn't eat much until about an hour after breakfast was offered then they ate. They had lunch at 11 sharp (chicken nuggets, tator tots, blueberries, pb and marsh for Tristan, mac n cheese for Lilly, yogurts, and donuts for dessert) They all ate sooooooooo well, even Landon finally ate after not eating for 3 days. Ian packed away his food too.

I put Ian to bed at 11:30 when he was asking to "go bed" and everyone else went down at noon. I'm praying they all sleep and catch up. I have a feeling Tristan isn't though.

It really was a relaxing morning. Lilly went outside with the pt and got wet and walked up and down our hill. The boys all went out early this morning for a bit, Bryce had to show off his new remote car he got yesterday from his cousins. We were given a ton of new books yesterday so I let the boys go through them and me, Tristan and Bryce read like 20 books together.

Ian's bug bite is no worse and I'm so sorry I worried you! I really think it's just a "no big deal" bug bite!
