Wednesday

Oh yucky day! We obviously were inside all morning. The boys played very well and the morning flew by. We read some new books today and did our color and number flash cards. Kobe and Zach took excellent morning naps. Mr. Oliver wasn't a happy camper and was super fussy and grabbing his mouth by 11 so I gave him some motrin with lunch. He seems better an hour later. While the little ones slept we played in the basement. They were so content I think because we weren't down there at all on Monday since we were outside all morning.

The Baldwin boys ate well. I gave Elliott a snack size (little kit kat) he called it a kitty cat (very cute!) He also had a pb sandwich with grapes and yogurt.

Oliver ate ate ate! He was so hungry today and ate everything you packed plus some grapes!

Monday

Well the beautiful weather made up for it being a monday! The kids were so good and content today! We played a little inside in the morning until I got Kobe down for a nap. Then we did color, number, and shape flash cards (Elliott knows his colors!) and read an Easter Biscuit story and talked about Easter a little.

Then we were outside until it was time to pick up Bryce from school. We played in the sand box (Oliver LOVED it but also of course had to take a few nibbles) YUCK-O! We swang, and ran around.

Picked up Bryce and had lunch. The kids watched Callio (they love him and I don't know how to spell it correctly!) while I cleaned up. Then we were back outside from 12:30-2! The boys played tag, hide and seek, scooters, trucks, ice cream shop in the play house, swings, sand box. It was a fun time!

Came inside washed hands and got cleaned up for naps. I though for sure everyone would pass out right away and they did (well excpet my oldest 2!) but now I hear Oliver screaming (he's been doing this for me lately and I forgot to mention it, I guess I thought it was from his ears last week. Anyway he wakes up like a half hour after falling asleep screaming but when I go to comfort him he gets even angrier! Both times last week he fell back to sleep, so I'm hoping he does today because he is exhausted!

friday

What a gloomy day! We had fun though and wow does Oliver love his big bro! I'm glad you decided to bring Elliott today. There was 1 point when E went down stairs to play with Bryce and Landon and Oliver was not liking that at all!

Oliver was a much happier guy today he did seem to get a bit fussy and wouldn't eat much for lunch so I gave him some motrin and fed him an hour later and he gobbled it down! I added grapes for his lunch.

We took Bryce to school today and then got some gas and made a super quick trip to the township building (where I pick up library books and dvd's) The boys were so good and Elliott and Landon got a dum dum from the lady at the library (they were thrilled!)

We played trains and did flash cards today. Elliott kept telling me, "but Miss Ashley we didn't learn today!" haha! So cute! We sang songs and counted, oh this was so much fun! I did 100 sit ups and push ups and counted out loud, it was so funny to watch the boys try to do sit ups and push ups! The babies thought it was a blast to climb all over me (this was actually the highlight of the morning!) We also read many many books. Oliver is such a smarty pants! I love that he listens and understands what I'm saying!

Very good morning, all kids down for naps by 2, hoping they sleep until at least 4, although my older 2 didn't nap (but early bed time tonight for sure!)

Ok so I warned Mrs. B about the whole Bella situation but forgot to ask her if he said anything, I'll try to facebook her about it! He was all about being Bryce's show n tell today! It was his star moment. mrs. K let Tristan and Landon practice being in her class for about 20 minutes today. She said they were very over whelmed and quiet but well behaved! They asked Bryce, "where did he come from?" Where do you keep him? and Why do you like his shoes?

So baby girl has been good today. Ate her full entire bottle at 9:30 and 12:45 and is sleeping nicely in the pack n play as I type. 2 poops too!

The puppy went home today at lunch and I had a house full of crying kids! They got over it fast but wow even lilly had a melt down!

Lilly and Landon were BFF's today!! Love seeing him play with someone other than Bryce! He did this yesterday with Elliott too! It's good to see him as the leader instead of the follower. They played t-ball outside while B and T stayed in and colored and played with Mudge. Then both of them got blankies inside and made tents and played ring around the rosie. Those 2 have so many similar qualities, I can see them being buddies more as they get older, and it's nice to see Lilly have a friend to play with more. I hope they keep this relationship up!

Wed

Awesome and beautiful morning! The weather is so nice out! The kids were out for almost 2 hours. Can you tell Oliver almost fell asleep in the swing?? The kids played in the sandbox, chased the dog, blew bubbles, swung, played trucks and scooters. We colored choo choo's inside and talked about colors and trains. We then played in the basement a little (Landon and Elliott were BFF;s today)

Poor Oliver I think was a little under the weather. Very clingy and fussy and at lunch his temp was just 99.5 so I gave him some motrin that will last 6 hours (hoping he gets a good nap in)

Everyone ate well today too!

Tuesday

Fun morning! Tristan is a-ok, said his ear doesn't hurt so I haven't given him any meds. It's 50 out so the kids ate lunch quickly and played outside for over an hour with the dog (they are all pooped now!) Lilly didn't want to come in she was so busy in the sand box (her pants are filthy so she has Landon's on now) The boys were so good outside and played fetch with the dog. They even cleaned up all the toys before coming in (looks better than when I clean up!)

Faith and Lilly had a play date this AM and painted and played very well.

Lilly ate a good lunch (carrot mac n cheese, cheese raviolies, yogurt and juice) Lots of carbs and cheese! haha. She barely ate any of her breakfast bar (Landon didn't touch his either) it was a new kind I wanted to try that has a ton of fiber but it was a no go!

Tristan ate well for both meals (his usual!)

Baby Syd is having a pleasant morning (slept up in the pack n play for her AM nap (an hour and a half!) don't worry I put new sheets on it!. She had 6 oz at 9:30 and again at 12:45!! Little pigger. I'm getting scared because she hasn't pooped yet today *just wet diapers! Have a feeling a blow out is in the works!

Lilly is sleeping in my bed, Tristan is down in the basement and I have Bryce playing with Kobe until his afternoon nap time and Landon is in his room. The dog is passed out!

Mr. Kobe is doing great with no nursing today! Hurray!

Friday

Very nice and laid back morning! We played with Mudge the dog a lot of the morning! The sun was shining so we also went outside for a little and Landon showed Oliver how to mow! Kobe has been a grouch though and did take a good morning nap. Poor Oliver must have been tired too because he fell asleep in the car ride to pick up Bryce from school. It was a cat nap so hopefully he'll still nap this pm! We also did bubbles and play dough fun this morning. Oliver ate well and I added carrots and grapes to his meal. He had a special treat today I'll show you the wrapper! It's an organic dried fruit bar but the ingredients had nothing he's allergic too (not even artifical coloring or flavors!)

Thursday

Today went very well! Very quiet this morning (which I'm not used to!) Kids ate a good breakfast and then we left to take the boys to school. Came home and Baby Sydney ate 4 oz well from her bottle and had 2 diaper changes. She's been a pleasant baby today! Sleeping a lot (basically all morning long!) Mostly in the pack n play but now she is in the bouncy seat snoozing. Miss Lilly had fun with Faith today! They painted for over an hour!

Zach's been a good boy and easy today. He's been happy playing. Took an hour nap from 10-11 and then had some lunch. Lots of babbling out of him today and I swear he said "I'm done" at lunch today!

Kobe continues to improve with his feeding skills! He fed himself mac n cheese with a fork! and fishies with his hands.

Wednesday

It was a good morning! The boys all played very nicely. The Baldwin boys of course ate well for both meals! Elliott had pizza (just half), so I made him a pb/jelly sandwich, yogurt, grapes, milk and a little piece of cake for dessert. Oliver ate all his food and I added some grapes and broccoli to his "carb meal" :-) haha

Drop off and pick up went well too! We started out playing in the playroom watching some sesame street. Then turned off the tv and practiced our letter flashcards (actually Elliott insisted we do them). Then we read some stories and sang some silly songs (that included bare piggies and me making up new versions to the "this little piggie" rhyme)

We had a quick snack and then did some water painting with the big boys while Oliver colored (Kobe took a huge nap!) Then it was time to play down in the basement with legos, trains, and we played restaurant again. The morning flew by! I can't wait until the weather is nicer so we can go outside more too! That'll make it go by even faster though!

Elliott has been cracking me up all day too! I asked him if he's going to be a comedian when he grows up... He said no, just a farmer!! haha He's so silly!

Oh and both of your boys are on the same poop schedule (hoping it's all out of them now for naps)

I'm insisting everyone nap today, the Rankin boys need some nap time!

Tuesday

It was a good and smooth morning! Sydney was happy, took a nap in her carseat after drop off and woke around 8:30 and was a hungry little lady! She ate 4 oz. Burped well in between. Then we were off to take the boys to school. Came home and she coo'd and giggled a bit and snuggled aunt Ash (Kobe) was trying to get her all morning but I protected her :-) She then got grumpa lumpa and fell asleep in the pack n play around 9:45 (all by herself too!) then Kobe went to bed so I used this time to get lunches ready ahead of time. Baby girl woke at 11 while Lilly was having lunch but wasn't ready to wake yet so she went in the bouncy seat an fell back to sleep, it's almost noon and I'm bouncing her while she sleeps still. I love her outfit, so stinken cute!

Poor Lilly I feel like I've ignored her all morning, I just have to get in the rhythm of having a tiny babe in the house again! She's playing great and played very well with Kobe this morning.

Tristan and Landon had a good party. They got a ton of cards/treats! They still haven't had lunch yet because I knew they wouldn't be hungry due to eating at the party. I'll feed them shortly!

That's about it! All is calm so a good day!

Friday

Awesome day! The kids really seemed to miss one another and played so well together! You should have seen Kobe's eye's light up when he saw Elliott and Oliver this morning. The boys ate well for both breakfast and lunch. Oliver ate only half of his mac n cheese today but scarfed down his grapes! Elliott had a pb sandwich with yogurt, grapes and milk and then he had his "cake pop." What a treat! He kept saying, is it cake? is it a lolly pop? is it both??

We played in the playroom and read books this morning. They were really into the pop up books about animals so we spent a good bit of time on that. Then we talked about Valentines day and made some crafts.

We had a small snack and then spent the rest of the morning down in the basement playing legos, trains, and then restaurant. The best part was when Oliver was copying the big boys with serving me and then he started coming over and handing me pretend food, it was so cute!

Picked up Bryce, then had some lunch, played a bit more in the play room (Landon and Elliott were having a wrestling war at this time) I didn't stop them since they were both enjoying themselves! The babies were laughing at them.

Then off to naps by 1. I snuggled Elliott a little extra and read him some books and it made a big difference. No fussing out of anyone and I'm pretty sure all were asleep right away!

Thursday

Lilly has had a rough morning today, you wouldn't know it now though (maybe she was just hungry??) I already talked with Alicia about what diva-ness she's had and the funny account that took place at the manchester township building because she didn't want to use my door, she walked into a glass window/wall. I picked up the book preschool wise today and the movie the Change up (looks very funny!) Just reserved 50 50! LOVE library! I also had Lilly on the system today to let her pick some new Barney DVD's to reserve (she loved that!)

No Zack today so it was just me and lilly and Kobe. Drop off and pick up went great and Uncle Kyle still came home to eat lunch with his little lady (although she had a major fit when he first came home)

I bought Lilly some Barney stickers yesterday so she was busy making a new creation.

The boys are playing downstairs and I told them if they are well behaved I'll let them play wii for a little.

wednesday

Um is it Feb?? or May?? I'm confused? So we were outside seriously the entire morning!!! It was close to 60 degrees! The boys had a blast! We ran around, had snack, played play dough, swang, climbed, scootered, and Oliver's fav.... blew lots of bubbles! FUN STUFF, and I really needed that and so did the kiddos!

Oliver's eye's lit up when we went out! He thought it was so cool that he had free rein of the entire back yard, he ran up and down the hill waiting for me to chase after him, then he would go up to the fence and shake it like he was a prisoner.

As you can see from the picture, Mr. Elliott is quite the baseball player :-)

We did have story time inside today but that was it!

All the kids ate so great at lunch! Elliott had pb sandwich, avocado (ask him to pronounce it's so funny), yogurt, grapes, milk, and 2 cookies. I added plain yogurt with honey, advocado (which he didn't like) and grapes to Oliver's meal.

landon ate 1 spoon full of applesauce to get his cookies today (hey it's something) I tried canteloupe but he seriously almost threw it up! That boy,

All playing now and we'll be down for naps soon! I have a new batman sleeping bag that Elliott is excited about!
