Thursday

 Wonderful day.  As you can see Miss Alexa spent a good bit of time reading us stories :-)  She was in a great mood today by the way!!  Only a few shrieks, and was happy and didn't even ask for blankie all morning.  Such a good mood that she is jumping up a storm upstairs.  Funny how one day she can be totally exhausted and others acts like she doesn't need a nap.

So we talked about farm animals today and what sounds they make and what colors they are.  We sang "old mcdonald's farm"  Then talked a little more about the horse and duck.  We made stamp/paint pictures of horses and ducks.  They loved it.  Read a book about farm animals to finish up.

Played outside the rest of the morning.  A bit chilly but for once the sun was out and the grass wasn't wet.  They had fun running around and swinging.

Alexa ate well for both meals today.  Had mac n cheese, yogurt, fruit and pb crackers for lunch.  Oh and she taught Kobe how to say "book" never heard him say it until after he heard her say it.

Vogt kiddos were picked up and all went well there.  Syd took a nap and ate like a piggie for her lunch.
