Thursday

I kept the wee ones busy today!  We painted, did playdough, played with Mr. Potato head, did lots and lots of puzzles, played the elephant game, sang songs, etc.!

Mr. Potato was the hit of the day.  The kids loved making different creatures (and wow were they interesting looking!)  I think Alexa's had a trunk for an ear.  Then they actually ran around and played with them with each other.

The arts and crafts were very short lived.  No one seemed to have much attention span today.  Oh well!

For the most part everyone is getting along well.  I think all of them are sleepy.  Alexa asked to go to bed at 10, it's noon so I'll be putting everyone down very soon. 

Oh Alexa said yellow today and pointed to the yellow paint (I was impressed!) 

Kobe and Oliver are butting heads a bit (it's like watching an animal trying to gain the "master" status!) 

Elliott and Landon are now upstairs playing nicely while the 2 year olds watch some Sprout before nap time.

Everyone ate well.  Alexa refused her cereal at first this morning but after sitting for a little she ate it.  She had mac n cheese, with banana, prune, yogurt and her milk for lunch.  Elliott had a pbj, yogurt, orange for lunch.  Landon learned to wipe his butt today and was so proud it rubbed off on Elliott and he did too (however I ended up with a clogged toilet) so they had a lesson on how much paper to use.
