Tuesday

Breakfast: whole wheat pancakes, banana, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh, cheese slices, grapes, (Lilly had some pudding) and tiny brownie for dessert, milk

All ate great for both meals.

Sorry for lack of pics, I took a big video clip of the kids doing their flash cards (so cute) but can't seem to upload it!

The morning flew by! Fun but we had some grumpy/emotional kiddos today! Lilly was beating up Landon left and right (I tried to give her a time out but she so didn't get it!) She was also a bit fussy up until we went outside. Landon has been tough today too and between him and Tristan I was big time feeling the 2 year old rebellion!

We took Bryce to school then came downstairs and played. We worked on alphabet flash cards for a long while (they love them) Tristan knows about 70% of the alphabet and landon is at 25% (pretty good!) Lilly copies the letters that the boys say!

We also did puzzles for a long time (but this was tricky with Lilly because she wanted the big boy's puzzles. Tristan was obsessed with these new dinosaur puzzles, he actually said he wanted to do them instead of going outside.

After that we went outside (Tristan had a melt down because he wanted to still do puzzles) but it was so nice, I insisted. He of course got over it the minute he walked outside.

Lilly hit her eye in the corner of the table downstairs (it's a little red around it)

Lilly is now still finishing up lunch while the big kids are playing upstairs.

Monday

Breakfast: zucchini bread, bananas, and milk (All ate super duper good!) YUM!
Lunch: grilled cheese with turkey, grapes, pudding, milk (again good eaters, Ian woofed his sandwich and was making YUM noises for his pudding!)

It was a morning of playing!! I've decided I'll do more "school" time with them when the weather gets yuckier (might as well get outside as much as possible now!) The 3 boys played cars for a while before Bryce's school. We took Bryce to school and again Ian loves the car ride and coo's the entire trip!

We returned home and played inside for a little then outside for a good 2 hours! They swung (and sang songs), Ian clapped along while Landon and I sang. We of course ran around and they boys played in the sandbox (where there is no sand because all of it was dumped outside) So they were working on shoveling back in the turtle :-)

Ian only fussed for a little after momma left this morning, the boys cars kept him preoccupied. He was very into an Elmo puzzle today, and is now being entertained by Landon dancing and singing to his Leap frog transportation station (haha)

Ian did have a little fall today he fell back into the little table and cried (it was short lived but he may get a bump on the back of his head. His nose has been a little runny too.

Well off to put everyone down for naps!

Friday

Breakfast: Jocelyn ate all her waffle and had some more milk
Lunch: She drank her yogurt drink, ate a half of her yogurt, half of the whole wheat mac n cheese. (She was having issues with flies in my house during lunch and kind of freaked out a bit so I'm sure she'll have her grapes later)

The morning was spent racing all the Disney CARS on the table. They seriously did this until it was time to leave for school.

School went well today. Jocelyn had a big stack of papers to show you. They said they practiced writing their names today. They also made a tiny "red" book. I didn't get much more out of them than that (must be Friday right??)

They came home and ate lunch and like I said above Jocelyn doesn't like the flies in my house! Sorry, with kids I always have a ton of flies from them leaving doors open :-(

They are upstairs now (where J says the flies aren't allowed to go (heehee)) and playing nicely. I'm hoping there is minimal fights and they can make it until 1 for nap but we'll see.

Thursday

Breakfast: pancakes (except Tristan who insisted on jelly toast! haha) , banana, milk All ate super well!

Lunch: T and L had pb and marsh (again insisted) Lilly and B had spagettios, everyone had apples, cheese slices, milk, and halloween cookies

Lilly loves her spagettios (she woofed them) I wouldn't expect her to eat much at dinner, she ate a ton today (didn't drink much though)

We took Bryce to school then I took the little ones to the pet store for cat food/liter. They had a blast. Lilly meowed all the way through the cat food isle. Tristan and Landon loved running around the store looking at all the animals (especially the fish). They were all well behaved until I had to check out and the boys thought it would be fun to run up to the auto doors stomp their feet then run back and they proceeded to repeat this a bazillion times until I finally paid.

WE came home and spent the entire rest of the morning outside(so nice) although now it's looking like it might rain! They played in sand, in the bounce house, Tristan was into soccer today but I wasn't doing whatever it was he wanted right.

We sang songs outside and swung

We picked up Bryce (what is it with Tristan doing forward rolls??? He's been doing them everytime we pick up Bryce (where we wait for him) I think he's showing off.

Came home ate lunch and then the boys watched a Halloween movie, and now it's off to bed for all!

Wednesday

Jocelyn ate a few bites of pancake and then asked for cereal and ate a good bit.

She ate great for lunch. Almost her entire english muffin, all of her apples and cheese.

The big kids had a great day at school. They did the chicken dance (said it was soooooooo much fun!) They also did the ants go marching song (I bet Bryce was an expert we've been doing that song since he was a baby) They also painted an apple (which wasn't sent home yet)

Jocelyn said her show n tell went very well. Mrs. Knisley told me to tell you that she got Jocelyn's paper and said that she sometimes gives the extra worksheets to the 3 day class (but they don't have to do it and we shouldn't make them) I did see she got a stamp on her A book :-)

The kids just finished lunch and I'm debating about a nap for Bryce. I wanted him to stay up with J to play but he's starting to melt down and has black circles around his eyes! so we'll see, Jocelyn and Landon are playing nicely though :-)

Tuesday

Breakfast: pancakes, banana, milk

Lunch: pb and marsh on wheat, cheese slices, cantaloupe, milk, Halloween cookies

Everyone ate excellent today!!! Jocelyn finished her entire lunch in 1 sitting! All got cookies (thanks Gammie!)

It was a fun morning! We took Bryce to school then came home and painted our pumpkins! We talked about pumpkins (what color and shape they are) They loved painting them. Tristan wanted me to paint a small baseball and bat (he insisted that the entire pumpkin couldn't be a ball because there would be no room for a bat) and Ashley you need a bat,..... duh!!!

Lilly and Landon had a lot of fun (Lilly painted her pumpkin and after that moved onto the table)

We played outside the rest of the morning (beautiful!) swung, batted, pitched, blew bubbles, and of course dug in dirt/sand!

Jocelyn joined in just in time to pick up Bryce and head home for lunch.

The cookies after lunch got the kiddos talking about Halloween (they are excited!) Now they are pretending to be ghosts and scare each other.

Oh my boys had major melt downs right before lunch today (it wasn't pretty!) So all are getting naps today (except of course Jocelyn) although she tells me she's tires so we'll see.

Oh and Jocelyn says that "she never acts like that" when my kids were falling apart! :-) I think they scared her from how loud they were!

Monday

Breakfast: cereal, banana, milk
Everyone ate great (Ian wasn't into his banana but ate his cereal well!)
Lunch: grilled cheese with turkey, cantaloupe, yogurt, milk
Everyone again ate very well (Ian was slow to start, he woofed his yogurt first and then didn't look interested in the other stuff, after about 10 minutes when I was about to give up the little stinker started eating again!)

We took Bryce to preschool (again Ian LOVED the movie CARS!!) he kept grunting and squealing at it! Bryce also found out how to crack the kid up and while we were waiting in the drop off circle he was making silly faces and IAN was laughing so hard (I wish I could do that!)

We came home and played outside all morning long!!! It was so nice out but the ground was still a bit damp so the boys got a little dirty (sorry!) Landon introduced Ian to sand :-) They ran around and were loving playing in the playhouse (opening and shutting the doors) They swung but only until little Ian's eyes started getting heavy. During swinging time we sang songs like ABC's, wheels on the bus, counting, etc. Sorry he's in a pink swing (I don't know why I ever got a pink swing :-) Must have been on sale!

Then we played playdough for a while. We made balls and snakes. We talked about snakes and what colors they are and what sounds they make. Ian just had a blast running around. I think he enjoys the freedom of being able to run around since he's fenced in. He was hiding, pointing, and grunting at the trees today.

We went and picked up Bryce (almost couldn't believe how fast the morning flew by (we didn't even get to do inside activities!) They ate lunch when we got home (washed hands and said our prayers before)

Now the 3 boys are playing in the playroom (I'm with them with my laptop that's now fixed). Bryce is being so cute with the little ones. Bryce is "reading" books to them and teaching them how to play with cars.

After this I am going to read some more and then off to sleepy land for all!
