Thursday

 Sorry I got a little picture taking happy today, but only because it was beautiful outside and we had lots of fun!

So everyone at well for breakfast and lunch (same usual)  Syd has been a little piggy today and is woofing down all her foods.  She had banana and sweet pots for lunch and dinner will be green beans and pears.  She's been in a good mood except for when she's sleepy or hungry.  She took a 2.5 hour nap this morning!!  slept from 8-10:30!!!  LOVE IT and since she slept so long I took the rest of the kiddos outside to play all morning!  My new rule is the big boys need to play outside an hour for every hour of screen time they have (like watching a movie or playing the wii)  I think I forgot to tell you about this but we've been doing it all week and it's going well.

So before we went outside I had craft/art time with the little ones.  We talked about our shapes, colors and letters while we colored.  The big boys all did legos while we did this (which is technically crafts too)

Then we went out.  I let the big boys get pillows and blankets from in the house to put up in their play fort on the swing set and they had a ball.  They were really using their imaginations.  The little ones swang, ran around, did play dough (well just Bryce, Lilly and Alexa)  Alexa did well and loved squishing it, only tried to eat it once but I corrected her.  I took the kids on alternating wagon rides.  The big boys rode bikes/scooters.  We played with side walk chalk too!  The weather was perfect.

Came inside, washed up and had our lunch.  You would think feeding the kids so early they wouldn't eat but when we are so on the go all morning they eat full lunches at only 10:30 am!!!  And I mean full (clean plates all around!)

We are now all downstairs playing until naps (which will begin at noon).  I plan to give Syd her meds for her shots in a half hour.  She is squealing and having a ball in her exersaucer.

Lilly  Had 2 poops, Syd 1 poop, and Alexa 2 poops!  Everyone is good to go!  :-)

Oh and $$$ is due today Dana (didn't know if you remembered since it's thursday)  you can either give it to Kyle or me at pick up.  Thanks!

Wednesday

 We had a very busy and fun morning.  I was on a mission to keep everyone active and engaged and was successful.  Hoping that all my hard work will give me a nice quiet afternoon.  So here is what we did....

Babies colored with markers and crayons.  We spelled our names and talked about colors.  I got stickers out for Alexa (that was funny!)  she got the hang of it quick though.  Lilly and Bryce did a craft mask and colored.  Tristan didn't want to do craft time and Landon was still sleeping.

We then played uno moo a few times and I let the babies run around with the animals.  So from there we talked about animal sounds.

Then we went down stairs and did puzzles (again talked about animals), blocks (shapes and colors), played cars, sang and danced.  I also rolled the babies around and took them for airplane rides.  Lilly was a puzzle machine!  Big boys all played legos during this time.

Then we went outside and played for an hour.  Took the babies on a wagon ride while the big kids played with the croquet set.  We swang, climbed, ran around, and played with the water table.

Came inside and had lunch (everyone had their usual)  Everyone ate a ton!!!  Must have worked up an appetite from all the business!

Now we are playing in the playroom and watching some Elmo and Kidsongs with the wee ones while I give the big boys an hour of wii time in the basement.  Going to try naps at noon today for all!

Alexa had 2 poops today and is very happy.  Tristan and Lilly are playing great too!  Very good day.

Ha Alexa is trying to do a handstand as I type!  So funny!!!

Tuesday

 Sorry some of the pics are blurry (I had the camera on the wrong setting).  So it's been a busy and fun morning.  We went outside early to beat the heat!  Went out from 8-9:30 and I filled the baby pool with elmo bubble bath (Alexa loved that) and smells good too now!  We swang, and rode our bikes and ran around and did the bubble machine. 

We then came in for some water and a snack and then went on an impromptu field trip since Alexa is my only extra today.  I was going to take them to the pet store but then decided to check out the spca (my sister said it's really nice).  It was very nice and there were tons of kitties, puppies, rabbits, and guinni pigs to look at.  Alexa loved it and kept saying puppy and kitty.  Kobe kept yelping and meowing and the big boys loved a little jack russle puppy and kept asking to take him home.  I told them if we did we couldn't go to the beach so they weren't too upset.  But I can so see Bryce crying over this puppy tonight at bed time again!  He was cute, but I DO NOT WANT A DOG!

Alexa ate her breakfast great!

After our field trip we played in the nice cool basement before lunch time.

Lunch was the babies usual favorite!  Hoping for naps at noon and no escaping from Alexa! 

Alexa had 1 poop so far today too!

Friday

 So it was an interesting but turned out well morning. 

Tristan keep announcing that he's bored!  It's driving me nuts.  Seriously?!  Let me begin to tell you what we did today.....  Oh and also when it's time to clean up he gets dramatic and says his "wegs" hurt from playing and he can't help.  Oh my oh my Tristan!!! 

So the big boys played legos early this morning and then colored pictures.  While Lilly and the babies played in the playroom.  Everyone ate a good breakfast (Alexa not so much) She would not eat her cereal/fruit or her O's but pointed to Kobe's cheerios and ate a few of those.  Syd ate her cereal well this morning and ended up taking a full 7 oz bottle at 10.

So I had 3 grump a lump babies and Alexa was asking to go night night so up they all 3 went around 8:30.  Well none of them napped!  Syd cried on and off again and again and Kobe played and While I thought Alexa was napping because she was being so quiet a half hour later when I checked on her I discovered she had escaped the pack n play!  Thank goodness I think I caught her early on because she could have done much more damage but all I found was some spilled water dishes and 2 very frightened cats at the top of their cat tree.  I'm not sure what to do because everywhere I could put her she could get into trouble.  I was thinking if she does it again maybe I could put her in Kobe's crib and try him in the pack n play in my room??  Not sure how he'll like that though?  My friend has a crib tent she said I could have.  I think the main thing is she wasn't tired and that's why she got out.  I'll just have to make sure she's tired and ready for nap and not play.

Oh Alexa you crack me up!  You are so mischievous! 

While the babies were suppose to be sleeping I did a short lesson with the big kids.  Bryce studied and practiced his phone number while the other 3 learned about the letter A and practiced writing the big and little A's.  Then they did a craft but the 3 younger ones ended up giving up on it and Bryce was the only one to finish.

Then I got all babies up around 9:45ish and we went outside for the rest of the morning.  We did the water table, sandbox, bikes, sprinkler, bounce house, and added the parachute.  The kids loved the parachute and we sang songs (well then Tristan announced that was boring too)

Syd went down for her nap officially right after her first bottle and it's going on noon and she's still passed out!  I'll give her solids when she wakes up.  She is so cute in her outfit!!  Ughhh I love me some ruffles with chunka thighs!

I fed everyone lunch at 11 and everyone ate very well!  Big kids had pb sandwhiches, strawberries, yogurts, juice.  Wee ones had mac n cheese with veggies, yogurt, fruit,  and pb crackers. 

Now we are playing and running around down in the basement.  They are having a ball in my newly cleaned and organized room! ha!

Syd had 1 poo and Alexa had 1 poo so far today!
