Tuesday

 Well the Olympics/bible school is wearing my 2 older boys out!  They were total messes this morning!  Ahhhhhhh  It's bad when I was counting down the minutes until I could have them in quiet time.  Alexa was good just acted kind of sleepy.  Although I puth er down for at noon when she asked and it's 1 and she is still up there playing around.  Syd was happy early this morning but I think the kids woke her from her am nap and she was a grouch until her afternoon nap time. 

So we did stickers/coloring/books with the wee ones while the big boys watched some marvel hero cartoons up in my room early this morning.  Then we went outside for over an hour and the boys reenacted what they saw.  The little ones played with all the toys and swang.  Funniest part of the morning was having the big boys strip down to their underpants since they got each other wet with squirt guns, then the babies running up to me tugging at their clothes because they wanted to do what the big kids were doing.  So I had a bunch of naked kids in my back yard.  Kobe was butt naked since he has horrible diaper rash I thought it would be a good time to air out.

Alexa's behind looks good today and she hasn't had any poops for me. 

Everyone ate well.  Muffins/cereal/banana/fruit/milk for breakfast, Lunch was chicken nuggets for babies, mac n cheese for Lilly and sandwiches for big boys with fruit and yogurts/cheese slices.

Played super why game down in the basement with big kids (goes over letters and sounds)  started with the 4 big kids ended with me and Bryce playing. 

Thursday

 Wow it was an early morning!  By 8 I felt like the kids and I were up for hours!  No wonder they all fell apart at lunch time! 

Kobe was a hand full today!  ahhhhhh 1 year olds, can you see him on the table (I dealt with this all morning!) 

We spent most of the morning indoors since it was raining.  We did eveyrthing I could think of.  We sang songs, counted, did puzzles, musical instruments, colored, stickers, put new batteries in toys so they were "new" to play with, read tons of books, by the time I got to animal sounds and body parts the 1 year olds were so done with me! 

We did get 20 minutes to play outside between the rain and the heat!  At least some fresh air.

Alexa had no poops today !  I don't think that's ever happened!  I told her no pooping until after nap time!

Everyone ate well, and it was the per usual choice (mac n cheese with carrots, yogurt, fruit, and pb crackers with milk)  big boys had pb sandwiches. 

Big kids had a fun time at summer fun, but all of them were so ready for some alone QT afterward! 

I have Lilly's and Tristan's school packets for you! 

Syd was a grumpa-lumpa-dumpa!!!  she just now is finally playing nice by herself on the floor.  Poor thing... I finally gave in around 8:20 for her am nap but then had to wake her up for summer fun drop off. Came home and she was a mess so back down until 11 but even after that she still seemed grouchy.  She ate her breakfast and lunch well and chugged all but 1 oz  for her lunch bottle.

 Oh my it was so nice outside this morning!  No humidity and not a cloud in the sky!  Felt almost like a warm Fall day!  We were out from 8-10 swinging, running, biking/ wagon riding, blowing bubbles.  The Vogts were here just in the am and joined right in.

We colored and did stickers today again and went over our colors, sang the alphabet and counted.  We of course played down in the basement too and read lots of books today.  Kobe and Alexa are prefering the animal books this week and the animal sounds. 

After lunch we practiced body parts (Alexa is a pro) she kept putting my shirt up to take a peek at my tummy :-) 

Alexa ate well for both meals and had 2 messy diapers today.  She had her usual (cereal and fruit / mac n cheese, yogurt, fruit, pb crackers. 

1  year olds down for naps at 12 sharp, Alexa is doing a super job at staying in her bed this week, fingers crossed it stays that way!

Tuesday

 Great morning!  Big boys played upstairs while me and the wee ones did some coloring and stickers.  We worked on our alphabet (singing) went over colors and did our counting to 10 with exercises (Alexa's favorite).  Then Syd went down for a nap and went went outside before it got too hot.  We were out for a long while.  Big boys played army men outside in their fort and were content.  Little ones played in the water.  Everyone swang and played.  The big kids (except T) painted rocks for craft time.  We ended our time outside stripping down and having me chase them with the hose. 

Came inside, dried off and got some dry clothes/diapers on.  Then went down to the basement to play some more.  I read books to the little ones and went over animal sounds. 





Came up and had lunch everyone ate well.  Mac n cheese, and sandwiches with yogurts and fruit (grapes all around) 

Syd napped from 9-11.  Big boys played in basement until L and T got in trouble for throwing toys at the wall again.  Time outs for them and no basement until Kyle comes home!!  They really need to stop this, at least B didn't get involved and told me right away!  ughh my #1 pet peeve is the kids destroying the house (not messes, but destruction!) 

Syd drank 4 oz (which was a struggle!)  your girls don't like to drink!  then had corn and berries for lunch (I didn't see any meats packed?)  She ate her cereal and mashed up bananas well too.  I gave her tylenol at 8 this morning because she was a mess (fussy and I thought she felt a tad warm) 

Alexa had a great morning, didn't ask to go down for a nap at all. 

Thursday

 Took it easy today.  We played early this morning in the house and then took the big kids to summer fun at preschool.  I then took Alexa and Kobe to the dollar store (got some new elmo stickers) and to Kohl's quick to use my Kohl's cash.  We were only out for an hour but it was a nice change to get out and the babies had fun.

Came home and we sang some songs, colored, did stickers.  Made lunch and then it was time for summer fun pick up already.

Came back, washed up and had some lunch.  Alexa ate all her cereal and fruit for breakfast and for lunch had veggie mac n cheese with yogurt, blueberries and pb crackers.  She was cracking me up because now she is not only copying every word I say but now it's full sentences!

Kids had fun at summer fun, but boy was Landon and Lilly tired afterward!  Everyone down for naps/rest time at 12:30, haven't heard a peep out of Alexa!

Alexa's brown diapers are almost out and so is her cereal.  Just let me know if you want me to give her regular plain oatmeal (that's what I give Kobe)  or just give me a new box!

Wednesday

 It was a very fun morning!  We went outside early from 8-9:30.  By 9:30 the Baldwin boys were sweating like crazy with red cheeks! :-)  Outside the kids did color changing cars with ice and water.  We painted with soap paints (I got them for the bathtub but they are great for wee ones outside.  Alexa really got into painting!  Actually they all did.  They painted for a long while and then were a total mess so best part was stuck them in the pool and washed off and they were all clean since it was soap.  Then we swang, and did some sticker crafts.  Of course they also played in the water and then we ended the outside time with bikes/wagon rides.

Came in, babies got diaper changes and everyone got drinks and then we sang our ABC's and other songs and danced.  We did the weather.  Then we did some counting exercises (literally)  We jumped up and down10 times, turned around 10 times, did 10 jump n jacks, 10 sit ups.  They loved it!  Alexa showed off her jumping skills! 

We then went down stairs and did some ABC flash cards and the kids played with all the toys.  I put in CARS 1 DVD around 10:30 and it was cute to see the little ones actually watch for a little (like maybe 10 minutes) then everyone got out the cars and pretended and acted out the movie.

Everyone ate well for both meals.  We had chicken nuggets, fruit, yogurt, milk for lunch!  YUM!

Tuesday

 A fun morning.  Spent the early part outside from 8-10!  the big boys played so well, very imaginative.  They've been playing ningas, legos, and coloring up a storm.  Wee ones played in the water, swings, bikes/wagons, and they also were coloring and doing sticker fun today.

Everyone ate well for both meals.  Zucchini muffins/bananas (wee ones had cereal and fruit)  for breakfast, Lunch was chicken nuggets, cherries (Alexa had her blue berries), yogurts/cheese slices and pb crackers. 

We talked about the rainforest layers and did a worksheet today.  WE sang our songs and got puppets out.  Did lots of stickers and coloring with the little ones.  We sang our ABC's and counted to 10 a bunch of times. 

Lunch time is over and the big boys are wound up!  Can't wait for quiet time in seperate rooms they need it.  Syd napped from 8-10 and chugged her bottle down at 11.  Ate all her cereal and fruit for breakfast.

Little ones are now watching some kidsongs until naps.  Alexa is lounging on the couch and looks like she's going to pass out soon! haha  I hope she doesn't try anything in her pack n play today with escaping since she hasn't been here for a week!
