Tuesday

It was a good morning but boy were the 1 year olds a bit sleepy/needy today.  Kobe and Alexa were yawning and just not themselves totally today.  They both ate well but I put them down for naps early around 11:30.

So we played outside in the very early morning.  The big boys had me throw frisbees around for a while and the little ones played in the water table.  We then talked about the 4th of July and what the America's colors are and what we see at night to celebrate the 4th.  I decided to try craft time outside today.  Everyone painted a red/white/blue patriotic picture.  I had the older kiddos use glue and glitter to create a fireworks picture. I found some awesome 4th of July print outs/worksheets but for some reason my printer wasn't working :-(  oh well  (hint hint Kyle fix it!)

I didn't even get the puppets today or songs but I did belt out some American songs for the wee ones (haha they were looking at me very funny!)  Kobe was having melt downs and hanging on me on and off so it was a bit tough to do some things.  They still had fun though.

Everyone ate well for both meals.  Oh and before I foget Alexa is out of brown diapers (I forgot to tell you so I'm using the size 5s Luvs you gave me a long time ago for today)  sorry.  She and Syd each had 2 stinky diapers today.

Lunch was chicken nuggets/yogurt/some pizza/fruit for babies.  Syd had spinach with her meat and my berry mix (which she loved today)  Big kids had pb sandwiches/ cheese sticks/ yogurts/ fruit.

Big boys are playing pretty well today (better than they have in a long time)  I stuck to the "hour" of alone time in seperate rooms which is where they are now.  Hoping though Landon will at least take a nap.  They play so much better if they have some time apart!

Alexa's cute word for the day is "grover" as in the blue guy on sesame street.  She took him to nap with her today.....

Ok well I'm off to check on A because I hear her saying "uh oh!"  that's usually not good!  ha!
