We had no tv all morning until after lunch. It was so nice and peaceful! Since Kobe and Syd took morning naps it was nice to just play outside with the big kids. They rode bikes, swang (and pretended they were flying spaceships in star wars), Lilly played in the sand box too. The boys have all played so well this morning (love that!) Theya re totally entertaining themselves. Days like today I'm like "why do we buy expensive toys for these kids when they can make up games and things using their minds and random items around the house"
Lilly and Bryce had some fun painting today too.
Syd had a poopy diaper. Ate well for both breakfast and lunch and had a whole 4 oz bottle (haha) She's sleepy too and is already on nap #2 for today (thinking its going to be a 3 nap day for her today since she woke so early) Again good because she hasn't been up very long to play with germy toys :-)
I've been majorly pushing the handwashing too. Oh gosh I hope the big kids don't get this throat thing. Bryce doesn't deal well with discomfort! haha
Big kids ate well for lunch. Spagettios, yogurts, fruit, gram crackers with nutella and pb, Big boys are playing down in the basement (totally having the time of their lives) and Lilly is getting her kidsongs fix for the day. All kids will be in seperate rooms today for quiet time! horray!
Oh you said about Tristan not being so crazy last week because I didn't let them play the wii. Well that might be true (my boys got to play yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks and Bryce got it taken away already for a week!) haha Also last week is when I started making sure the 3 big boys had "alone" time for at least an hour or 2 in the afternoon!
Oh I finally hear Kobe moaning after a 4 hr nap! Fingers crossed he'll eat some of the smoothy I made for him (pb, frozen banana, vanilla yogurt) I think it tastes sooooooo yummy! Poor thing won't eat anything today!
