Breakfast: everyone ate well, waffles/poptarts for big kids, wee ones had their cereal and fruit
Lunch: again all ate well, chicken nuggets (wee ones also had some pizza and Lilly had some spagetti) They ate a ton along with some yogurt, fruit, and pb crackers!
2 poops for Alexa, 1 so far for Syd
Syd drank 6 oz so far today and I'm just getting ready to feed her some baby food.
So we colored and did stickers early this morning (big boys played legos upstairs) Syd napped from 8:45-10:30 and while she napped we went outside and did playdough and ran around and played with bikes.
Came in around 10 and did school time. We learned about the emergent layer of the rainforest. The kids drew/painted trees to show the emergent layer. We talked about why trees are important and what colors they are. We learned about the letter L and practiced writing it with our fingers in the air. We did the weather, sang our songs, and played with our puppets. Alexa gets so excited when it's "school" time she runs over to the cd player and starts pointing!
Lilly had a few time outs today and kidsongs were forbidden utnil after lunch. And thank goodness for them or she would be down for a nap by 10! haha. She ate like crazy so maybe that's what her problem was.
Alexa and Tristan seem to be in good moods today. All the wee ones seem sleepy so I'm off to lay Lilly, Alexa and Kobe down, feed Syd and put a movie in for the big boys!
Oh show n tell is Thursday! Have your kiddo bring something that reminds them of the rainforest or that starts with the letter L!!!
