Well late morning/early afternoon went excellent!!! Miss Alexa is a happy girl and ate like a horse! I'm not sure if she's actually napped this am. Between the diaper change and when I went in to get her (around 10:30) not sure if she ever fell asleep, however it did get quiet in there for about a half hour until I heard her crying for me (well actually I heard, momomom, and nanna, nanna!)She loves technology... doesn't she? and buttons!! She is actually helping to type the blog post with me right now, and has been out to find every remote control in my house :-) Your toy with the voice recordings has been a big hit all around today and is helping her a lot!
Like I texted you I found a cup that Alexa loves to eat her O's out of that kept her very happy in the car ride to pick up Bryce. She ate super well for lunch (all her fruit, greek yogurt, whole wheat mac n cheese with puree carrots, and some pb crackers) I tried out 5 different cups with Alexa and I think I found one she likes. I got her to drink 5 oz of milk (cold) in a platex training straw cup. You squeeze it to let the liquid go up so they learn how to suck it, and she caught right on. I got a pic of her drinking it well!
So after lunch the 2 wee ones played great for an hour in the play room. She even let me stay in the kitchen to clean up and eat my lunch.
And yes you left her book here, I'll put it in her bag for you, we have 2 copies of that book here :-) Love Sandra Boynton!!!
Well it's 1:30 and I think Miss A is ready for nap take 2!!! I hope the little lady can rest this PM!
Oh and big #2 after lunch in the diaper too!
