Wed

I'm posting a little early because Miss Alexa is finally playing without me holding her :-) Yeah! Although she still won't go in the play room without me. But at least she will let me clean up the kitchen while she runs around the kitchen! She is currently (now this is a clean potty!) carrying around the little potty and placing it in different areas of the kitchen and sitting "and just at this moment she is grunting and I think going #2 while carrying it!" She was watching Ian use the potty today.

So this AM was wonderful. Alexa missed out on the fun because she was a sleepy lil girl! Did her sign for sleep starting around 8:15. Poor thing had to wait until 9 and I felt terrible! She was so happy to see her bed! She slept until 11. Kobe hasn't been napping in the morning since day light savings (I hope he keeps it up) I think because he's sleeping later in the morning. So he'll be going down for his nap at 1 and then I plan to take Alexa outside for an hour before her Pm nap (unless sleeping beauty gets too tired!)

Play ground mulch is a coming to the Rankin play ground tomorrow! Can't wait! The kids are going to love it with their trucks!!!

The only thing I've gotten to do with Alexa is sing and read her stories before nap! She did eat great for both meals (lunch again was mac n cheese with cauliflower, carrots, and turkey, I gave her and Kobe some pb and J to munch on too with yogurt and her fruit. Big #2 after nap this morning.

Oh how we've missed Ian!! I love him! Landon and him have been playing all morning non stop! We were outside almost 2 hrs this AM. We swang, sang, did play dough, painted. I worked on their names with them. I wrote their names in pencil on large paper and have them paint over the letters over and over again. Kobe participated too (it was a mess) but fun and best part... washable! Sandbox and superheros were a big hit!

Those two are going to nap well this afternoon from all the running around they have been doing! I hope Ian can come this summer, Landon and him get along so well! I wish we could have a full time Ian!

Ian ate well for both meals, he had muffins, banana, and milk for breakfast and pb and marshmallow sandwich with strawberries, yogurt, and a little mac n cheese for lunch.

Little guy won't pee on the potty for me yet today! I've tried sitting him 4 times and even encouraged him to pee on a tree outside with Landon! I know he has to go because he's doing the grab the crotch bit! Eventually it will have to come out... right? I will put a pull up on him for sure today for nap though! I think I'll put him and Landon down around 1:30/2 ish!!!

Oh and now Miss Alexa is sweeping my kitchen and waving to me while smiling! She is a ham!!! And I swear she was singing the words to Nickleback's song on warm 103 today!!! She cracks me up!
