Thursday

Beautiful day!  Although we had some grumpies this morning so that kind of put my plans of being outside and enjoying the weather all morning :-(  We still got out for about an hour and the kids had a blast playing with ice, foam, and water.

Syd didn't nap well this AM, don't know if she ever fell asleep.  I got her up around 10 and she was a grump on and off until pm nap at noon.  She kept trying to pull my shirt down so I have a feeling what would make her happy (momma!) haha.  She ate her cereal good and at lunch I attempted the bottle first, no go, then put the milk in a cup, no go, then just gave her water, took about 1-2 oz.  She ate all her yogurt and some carrots and her meat.

Lilly was in a mood this morning and was having melt downs on and off.  Kept telling me she was sleepy.  I'm telling you the Vogt girls are sleepy heads the days I have them!  haha  So we played outside and I thought it was funny how the girls played together while the boys played together somewhere else.

Came inside and the big boys played legos upstairs (they played trains early morning and made a really intricate track that I was very impressed with.)  Read books and sang songs to the wee ones.  I just love how Alexa calls Kobe "bobee"  haha

Had lunch and everyone at their usual favorites and ate well!  Alexa cleaned her plate for both meals.

Oh and guess what!!!  Heard from the bus company and they are giving me my bus stop at the end of the driveway!!!  whooohoo!!  So excited.  Just praying they don't take it away from me since I lost one kiddo I was going to put on the bus this year because his parents already enrolled him in daycare!  Very happy about this though!!!  Looks like Bryce and his cousin Hayden will be picked up here and all the little ones will get to see the big yellow bus in the mornings.  On nice days we will walk down together (little ones will be put in wagons or strollers.)  on yucky days I'll just load up the van and park it down at the bottom until the bus gets there.  Should work out great!  and best part, the little ones won't have to sit in the van from 8-9 in the mornings for school drop offs!!!  And Bryce won't have to sit on the floor of my van without a seatbelt on!
