So let's start with meals:
Breakfast was cereal (big kids had lucky charms) with fruit (bananas) Alexa had pears, and milk
Lunch: Big kids had pb sandwiches, Wee ones had mac n cheese, everyone had fruit and yogurt. I was so proud of my fruit selection! Lilly's eye's lit up when I told her I had fresh mango! Tristan had grapes (so did Alexa) and Bryce and Jocelyn had cantelope. Mr. Joshua is a super picky eater. I got him to eat a few cheerios at Breakfast and the only thing he would eat for lunch was whales and gram crackers. He sipped on some water throughout the morning.
Ahhhhh now I just remembered he was suppose to get his bottle of milk before nap!!! So so sorry! Not used to that. I just ran up to try and give it to him and he's out cold. He didn't make a peep at all when I laid him down for nap either. I will give him it for sure as soon as he's up. Poor kid!
Syd ate her breakfast and lunch well. Ughhh so frustrated with her why she won't take a bottle from me. I think I'm to the point where I'm not even going to try anymore, she gets super upset with me and we both end up with breast milk all over ourselves. So today I was determined since she just took it from her daddy on Saturday so well. warmed it up, got all the other babes to bed, waited until 12:15, took her up in my bedroom just me and her. And as soon as I showed it to her she went balistic! It's actually crazy how she acts like I'm killing her. So after trying, I then took her into Bryce's room and went in the closet (it's pitch dark in there) Lilly kept asking me what I was doing probably because she thought I was hurting her sis. Thought maybe Syd would take it if it was dark.... NO GO! Ughhhh she must have a preference for mommy and daddy only!
So about this morning....
After breakfast the tv was turned off and we started out just playing with some toys in the playroom with the wee ones. The big kids played upstairs for a bit. I had a box full of new toys that I just got so I got those out and it was like Christmas. Lots of new books to read. I got one especially for Lilly "Lilly's purple plastic purse" So we read through them. Then we got out the dance star mickey and they fell in love (well Alexa hid).
Syd went down for nap at 9 but only slept till 9:30 because she went #2 (and she's the only one besides Kobe who has pooped today?!) weird! not that I'm complaining!
Did crafts while the baby napped. Big kids painted door knockers, toddlers did stickers and colored with color wonder markers. They loved the markers and best part they don't make marks on anything but the special paper. Alexa was trying to color over everything, she was amazed! haha
Gave the toddlers a snack while I got Syd out of bed and then we all went outside for an hour. I got all toddlers down to diapers since I had some messy projects. We did color bubbles and shaving cream today. They had a blast. Big kids LOVED the colored bubbles. I had big kids where old tshirts to play in. Filled up the water table and pool to wash everyone off and of course Alexa and Joshua went in with sneakers still on. We ran around, swang, played on the slides, in the sandbox.
The big kids also got to ride bikes/scooters on the driveway for a little today. I parked my van to cut off the driveway.
Syd loved the swing!!! I wish I had a huge one for in my house for her!!!
Came in and got everyone washed up. Went to the basement to play some more. Got lunch ready and ate. After lunch big kids went down to the basement while toddlers played in the playroom. This is when I put kidsongs on so I could clean up.
All toddlers, baby, and Lilly down for naps by 12:15ish. Big kids are now watching the Lorax in the basement.
